I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… let’s face it: oral surgery is never something you look forward to, but Pasadena Periodontal Associates makes it as pleasant as possible. I have seen Dr. Angha for several surgeries now and she’s a total pro. I leave with minimal pain and swelling and my recovery has been swift each time. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful, and when I did have one minor concern about healing, they found time to see me right away. I still cant say I look forward to surgery, but I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

Pasadena Periodontal continues to provide me with top-​notch care. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they go out of their way to make sure I’m getting the care I expect. They are also very good at alerting me to issues that need attention before they become problems.

I just completed the process of receiving my first dental implant. I really had no idea what to expect, but Dr. Morishita and staff did a great job educating me with the first consultation. The process was explained and even visuals were provided. I left feeling very confident. They were all so professional and personable that I felt like I had known them for years. Dr. Morishita’s expertise and precision was very evident as the surgeries went without flaw and every step of the way was thoroughly explained. I seriously did not experience any discomfort throughout this whole process. I want to thank Dr. Morishita and staff and highly recommend them to anyone who needs dental implants.

I didn’t have my gum work done here but have «deep cleaning» here. They were recommended by UCLA Dental School. They are very nice, competent, skillful, and helpful. I find it not painful and completely OK and they’re willing to work with me on scheduling. I haven’t compared prices — it does cost more than cleaning at a general dentist — but I’m happy and would recomend.

Let’s just say they are the best!
Just trust them and you will be OK. I have trusted my oral care to Dr. Charles and Joyce for the past 15 plus years and I have no Problems nor issues.
I visit them twice a year. Very punctual, very professional.

Dr. Morishita gave me an «A+» quality implant and their teeth cleaning is at a very high level. Even if you have a good dentist, go here to get your teeth cleaned.

Dr. Morishita and his staff are awesome! No one likes to «go to the dentist» but Dr. Morishita is kind and caring. He’ll make sure it’s a relatively pain free!

I have been a patient of Dr Charles for about 20 years, I’d say … If you need periodontal work, this is a wonderful practice. I go for regular cleaning and check up. They are great about coordinating with my regular dental office as well. Excellent care! I whole-​heartedly recommend them. Staff and hygienists are all wonderful, caring people. The office is easily accessed and has adequate parking.

I have been going to Morishita and Charles for over twenty years. They are the most professional and competent periodontists I in the area. Dr Morishita has kept my periodontal disease in check for all these years and I have yet to lose a tooth to the disease. He is extremely nice as well. My hygienist Joanne is the gentlest and most knowledgable hygienist I have ever met. She and I always share a laugh or three. This practice does whatever is necessary to keep cleanings and procedures comfortable. I used to fear my cleanings but now I know exactly what to expect and that I will be treated professionally and with smiles. I can’t say enough about this group.

I went to Dr Morishita for a tooth extraction and a dental implant. First time for either procedure, so I was naturally nervous.
All my anxiety was eliminated as soon as I entered their office. The office staff is wonderful, and they always greet me with a smile. The facility is modern and comfortable. And by the way, plenty of free parking.
Dr Morishita greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I immediately knew that I was in good hands. He explains the overall process beforehand so that I knew what to expect. Both the tooth extraction and the implant procedures were painless. Furthermore, he personally called me that evening to ask if I had any pain or complications. I had absolutely none, and no pain medication required as well.
This facility is A+. They are true professionals. I highly recommend Dr Morishita at Pasadena Periodontics.

I went to Dr. Morishita for a dental implant at the recommendation of my dentist and I can not tell you how pleased I am that I did. He and his staff were wonderful throughout the whole process. The implant procedure was virtually pain free and was perfect. I would recommend Dr. Morishita to anyone that needs a dental implant.

I just had my gums grafted by dr morishita… He used cadaver gums and let me just tell you. this man is the very best! The procedure went really well. He is patient and kind and would ask me if I was doing ok. I just had the stitches removed yesterday and my gums look puuuurfect! YAAAAA FOR DR MORISHITA!!!

I was referred to Pasadena Periodontal Associates for a consultation. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Antonino Crivello in a few days.
There is plenty of parking in their parking lot. The staff was very friendly. The receptionist greeted me and provided the paper work to complete before seeing the doctor. I was taken to the examining room in less than ten minutes.
The doctor was examining me and reviewing my records in less than five minutes. The doctor reviewed my x-​rays and called the referring doctor before giving his opinion. He carefully explained the recommended treatment and gave the reason for his opinion. He answered all my questions.
The group is not in my network. The group did accept my insurance. It took a little time to process the claim. I received a computer generated bill stating insurance has been bill awaiting payment from carrier.
I remember receiving a billing from another dental office high lighted in yellow balance due now.
Pasadena Periodontal Associates has an outstanding billing department that know how the claim processing works.

I have had more than my share of dental problems over the years and have visited more different dentists than I can count. My experience with Dr. Morishita’s office has been absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The procedure I had done was pain free with almost no recovery time at all, I was really amazed that getting a tooth extracted and an implant put in could be such a pain-​free, hassle-​free process. Dr. Morishita and the staff were very professional throughout and months after the procedure I have still had zero problems with the work that was done. I would recommend Dr. Morishita to anyone needing dental work and will be returning to him if I ever need further work done.

I was referred to Dr. Morishita. I really like him. He’s funny, puts you at ease and explains in a way you can understand (not using too much medical terms that is). I like his office, it’s clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable.
I will try to explain this best I can.
The reason I am giving this a 3 star (OK/​average etc…) is because they sent me a huge bill for the entire amount. My insurance pays 80% of my cost and I am responsible for only 20% which I am supposed to be billed for. I called the Dr’s office and the lady on the phone said not to pay and that they will sent me the correct bill. Well, they sent me a bill for the entire amount twice before they sent the correct one and it is now 2 or 3 months, can’t remember. They not only sent me the bill late, they charged me a finance fee for late payment when they told me not to pay yet. I was surprised that they charge me a late fee based on the date on the first bill when 1. it was not the correct price. 2. i was told not to pay and to wait for the correct bill. 3. Not sure why i was charged a finance fee when I’m not financing because other doctors don’t do that.
Perhaps they need to hire a new billing manager. just saying…

Dr Morishita is the best… i received a great referral from my then dentist. I’ve had a problems with recession for years… after having my braces removed in my early 20’s and due to heredity… i’ve had very early issues with this.
anyway, i put off doing anything about it… until more recently. his office is nicely decorated… contemporary in styling. The staff is very attentive… making sure your you know what is needed pre and post procedure… which they explain to you verbally and give you written instructions. Also very good at scheduling your appts in advance and getting preauthorization which i ask for… very accomodating. And good about reminding you to come to your appt. in case you forget… helpful since they have a fee for no shows.
The doctor was the best person to come to for the actual procedure… had another tooth done some place else which i would never go back to… like night and day. Also, had a consult in Manhattan Beach which was so outrageous in price and far mind you… that i feel really fortunate to have found Dr. Morishita. He has done so many of these procedures… the results are amazing.
Also if you need deep cleaning… i forget how many hygenist he has on staff… it was over 12 to 18 on staff something in that range. My hygenist is the best… when all others will anesthetize every quadrant… she doesnt use any. If you go anywhere else they will say thats how the procedure is done… and they dont veer from their training…
The prices here are the best too… I have my teeth cleaned here instead of at the dentist… specialist charge twice as much but not here… it was the same price! Now if i could only find a regular dentist for all my other needs that i could rave about just as much…

My dentist referred me over to Dr. Morishita after spotting some gum recession. Office is new, very clean and modern. Staff is professional and courteous. Hardly any wait time! After my initial exam, I was detailed how much my procedure would cost with insurance (it really helps if you a dental PPO) and all my appointments were scheduled. Before my procedure, I was given oral and written procedures of what to do. The actual procedure called a tissue graft was painless. I was even given a radio that I could listen to during the actual procedure! (You may wanna bring your own iPod). Dr. Morishita’s bedside manner was very professional… you could tell he’s done this for many, many, many, many years. Had no problems after the procedure, not even a little pain!
