Everyone at this shop is extremely helpful and informative. I feel really comfortable doing all of my coin, stamp and vintage/antique related business with them.

I had to sell majority of my jewelry and old coins here during hard times… Be careful not to be too desperate or they will rip u off

Josh was really easy to deal with and gave us a much better price than other places even over the phone. Had to take a check instead of cash, but we cashed it right away with no problems. Even did a free appraisal of an old ring we had with us.

I went to Pasadena Stamp and Coin Company for the first time this weekend after talking to Josh on the phone about 5 times. I needed to get some coins and stamps that I inherited appraised. I felt embarrassed that I had such large and disorganized collections(about 3 shoeboxes worth) and I know very little about coins and stamps, having only been to one other appraiser. Josh was respectful, polite, and friendly in every interaction with me while simultaneously being honest and straightforward. It turns out(as I suspected) that the collections are worth very little, but nonetheless Josh patiently spend at least an hour going through the pieces and even giving me great ideas on how to get the most out of the collection, such as setting aside some sixpence coins with a suggestion that people often like to put it in the bottom of their shoe for weddings. He did all of this for free even though he understood I had no interest in selling the items. I noticed how he interacted with other customers as well and his service was authentic and excellent every time. It was a good experience.
