Great service! Aaron was awesome and very helpful. Fixed my dishwasher, took a look at my oven and even examined my fridge ice machine. They took credit card which made for a quick and easy transaction. 5 stars all the way!

Had a problem with my fridge. These guys came out on a holiday within an hour of calling them. The price seemed reasonable considering two parts were replaced. I was just happy that I was able to get someone to do a repair on a day where everyone else was closed. Hopefully the fridge stays working for a long time to come. Thanks Arthur!

They helped repaired my built-​in KitchenAid refrigerator. I called quite a few places in the morning, but this company was the most professional and gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. The receptionist was extremely nice. Before scheduling an appointment, she asked if I would like to speak to one of their technician for some preliminary troubleshooting, which I did. After I described the problem, the technician, Freddy, then gave me some possibilities of what the issue may be. I scheduled an appointment and the technician arrived within the appointment window. Before arriving, the office actually called me up about 30min before, stating that he is on his way. When the technician arrived, it was Freddy, and HE IS THE MAN! Freddy was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and perhaps one of the best appliance repair person I have every dealt with. He shared with me information about appliances and how to better maintain them. His kindness and honesty is something I haven’t seen in an appliance technician. I recommend him highly.

Called this company to fix our dryer that was making a horrible noise. Here are my complaints: 1. They could only give us a window of 10 –1. We told them my husband would be staying home in the morning from work to wait for them. They assured us they would try to put us first on the list but since they were coming from Covina (it is NOT a Pasadena company) the tech probably wouldn’t get to our house til about 11. We said ok. He didn’t arrive at 11. He didn’t arrive at 1:00. So finally at 1:15 my husband called and the rep said he’d be there soon. No apologies were offered and clearly had we not called, they would not have called us either. He arrived at 1:30. Didn’t apologize, no excuses offered. When you are give a 10 –1 window, that means the person arrives and does the work WITHIN that time period. Clearly this company doesn’t care about their customers’ own time constraints like going to work at some point during the day. 2. He fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes (something my husband did once before but because this time it was a different noise, we thought it was something worse.) For his approximate 8 minutes of work he charged us $ 139 for labor and $ 60 for the parts (part of the $ 139 was a $ 60 service call fee). (When my husband bought the same part online he paid $ 25.) $ 139 for 8 minutes of work and no discount for being late and lying to us about when they would send someone out. Look elsewhere.

I needed to have my washing machine fixed because the tub was banging all over the place during the spin cycle. When I called, the staff was very courteous and attentive. They called back when they said they were going to and were gracious when I called with questions.
The technician came out earlier than the stated four-​hour window, which worked out great. Aaron was very professional and friendly. He worked like a pro and got the job done expertly.
The cost for the repair was less than what I was anticipating, so I was pleased in that regard. Just like any repair service, most of the cost is for the labor. That’s just the nature of the industry.
I would definitely use Pasadena Appliance Service in the future. It’s beats having to buy a whole new washing machine.

How about telling everyone that you moved to Covina???

I think these guys are great! The fan motor in our fridge went kablooey and had been emitting a very loud high pitched shrieking noise for over an hour. I called around and could not find a single company who would come out same day. These guys were at my house within two hours and repaired our fridge in literally 15 minutes. They are definitely a bit pricey, but they do great work and will be there when you need them; that alone is worth a couple extra bucks to me. I would use them again anytime.

Geez, I can’t believe these reviews. I’ve used these guys for the last 10 years and never had a problem. I’ve had them service my 24 year old washer and dryer (several times, different issues) and my 15 year old wall oven when the «mother board» went haywire. Every time I’ve had a service call the service person was responsive and competent. The folks on the phone have always been polite and efficient and I think their charges are reasonable. They fixed the problem and the repair lasted. What else can you ask?
I guess I don’t understand what the big deal is with a $ 69 service call — don’t people understand you aren’t just paying for the time they are in your house, you are also paying for transit time and administration expense? If $ 69 is too high to have someone look at your appliance, perhaps you shouldn’t get it serviced because fixing it is going to cost even more — appliance repair is generally pretty expensive.

OMG, this company is horrible. They came out to my house, fix the water leaking issue, spent 15 minutes and charged $ 275! I wish I was smart enough to replace the fridge instead of having them do a lousy repair. It took them 3 times to come out to my place and the original problem is still not fixed.

The only good thing I can say is… they came early in the 4 hour window they gave me. Our dryer ran but wouldn’t heat. I looked on Unilocal and found these guys and with a five star review no less… problem solved… yes, but it was NOT a happy ending.
Their house call is $ 60.waived if they do the repair. That is actually the highest one I found… I should have given that more respect.
The repairman came in. never even moved the dryer, opened the front and after removing maybe 8 screws, said it needed two parts and the charge would be $ 180.00. Those two parts were a fuse and a thermostat.
To repair my whirlpool dryer it was $ 185.00 of which $ 109 of that was labor. he was here half of an hour… so I guess they charge $ 220 an hour. The parts were $ 71…the tax $ 6. I am lucky he didn’t actually have to take the dryer apart… he might have been here an hour or more.
The highest prices I could find for the parts online were $ 37 before shipping and the lowest $ 20.00 delivered to my door. Let me just say right here… these prices were for WHIRLPOOL OEM parts. The parts they put in my dryer were made in mexico and the packaging says «whirlpool quality replacement». I only mention that because when my husband saw the bill and called to ask about it, they were more defensive of the parts cost than the labor charge which was actually our complaint. They said their parts are better quality than you can find online and therefore they cost them more. (more than whirlpool oem parts??? … uh. okay, so my husband offered to give them the website so they could get the real parts cheaper than the mexico parts) So anyway, at the most $ 50 over on the parts. I could probably have lived with the parts cost as that is the cost of convenience. but these parts were all «PLUG IN» parts. the actual install time LESS than 15 minutes. The labor was the True INSULT. I only called them because of the 5 star review someone else gave them on Unilocal… gotta seriously wonder about that review. Unilocal did not work well for me with this business. Call someone else or use these guys with the utmost care and diligence, question everything before you have work done and pay. There were other guys I found online that were 25 miles from me that would have come out to give an estimate for $ 45.again waived if they did the repair. And make sure to ask whatever one you choose what the hourly labor rate is before you tell them to come! $ 220 an hour is outrageous. No matter how you want to do the math, 30 minutes for $ 109 is $ 218.00 an labor charge. And my «whirlpool» parts were nearly 100% mark-​up. Not a way to get repeat business. After 2 phone calls they said the owner would call my husband back… that never happened. They apparently are not interested in customer service either.

I used this company for my Whirlpool washing machine that was giving me trouble. The first visit, he was unable to to find a definitive problem. But suggested I use less soap. The next day, I was having the same problem and called for another appointment. This service call was free (because I called within 30 days of my previous appointment). The same man came and diagnosed an problem with the electrical board. This required a third trip back to fix the problem.
The price was reasonably fair ($ 169.00, not including the part — which we supplied) and they credited the $ 69.95 service fee to the overall repair. They allowed us to supply the part we received directly from Whirlpool, which also saved us some money.

My Bosch dishwasher had water in the bottom of it. I Googled and found Pasadena Appliance. They said it would cost $ 69 to come out and that would be applied to the service. It was cheaper than the other company I called, so I said fine. All my dishwasher needed was the overflow valve cleaned out which took the repairman 60 seconds. They charged me $ 129!!! I was not happy. The repairman did not have me sign an estimate. I think it’s like bait and switch –they sound less expensive but really they’re just a rip off like a lot of these companies. They are NOT trustworthy. I would not use them next time.
