Omar Ahmed, MD

Unfortunately my husband had a work accident a while ago and was sent to the E. R in Huntington Memorial Hospital to which Dr. Ahmed was his doctor and we loved him! My husband had to get another surgery from Dr. Ahmed again today and once again did a great job! His follow up appts are always the best he keeps us informed of how everything is going and always takes time to talk to my curly haired son jaja. And Marie, AWESOME! I think God he out Dr. Ahmed in outer loves to care for my husband.

My husband unfortunately and fortunately received an emergency procedure performed by Dr. Ahmed. I say unfortunately because it was imperative that he have the surgery and fortunately because Dr. Ahmed entered our life as the surgeon.
My husband is a former NFL athlete and has received medical care from some of the premier surgeons in the country. He now adds Dr. Ahmed and his staff to that list.
The surgery was performed beautifully and the healing was expeditious. His bedside manner is very kind and attentive. Amazingly at the office follow up visits, the wait time was within 5 minutes and we were well equipped with information to manage the wound until the next visit.
Marie, his nurse was very prompt (same day turn around) in completing all paperwork necessary for our insurance claims.
My husband is very pleased with Dr. Ahmed, and we highly recommend his service.

Dr. Ahmed is not only a brilliant surgeon, but a sincerely kind, compassionate man as well. He is very matter-​of-​fact without being insensitive, and seems to seriously take into consideration the fears and concerns of his patients. I don’t think I could have gotten through my ordeal as well, or with such a positive outlook, with any other doctor.
