Exellent treatment!
Not your typical Chiropractor. Dr. Monique is gentle and effective, takes her time with you and is totally resonably priced. She got me in the same day I called and fixed my back pain in just two visits. I am so happy I found her. Thank you.

Monique knowledge and experience is very extensive. After a few questions she gets to work and solved the issues without a doubt. My family is very happy with her services. This is the kind a professional you hope she never retires…

When I first moved to LA I didn’t know where to go for a chiropractor. I was afraid o try new Doctor because my previous chiropractor doctors always made me feel scared and nervous. But I was in so much pain — daily headaches, migraines and backaches so I went through Unilocal reviews and found Dr Abbinanti.
Dr Abbinanti was very gentle with me even through I’ve had many chiropractor adjustment done before in the bay area and Asia. She is the most caring I’ve ever had actually I feel quite realized even when she is adjusting me. The way she adjust you is very precise and gentle, unlike the other Dr I saw in the bay area. Most to the male Dr I’ve seen just wanted to cracked my neck and it’s so scary.
Honestly, before I met Dr Abbinanti I was in so much pain and was popping Advil everyday, sometimes 3 x per day. After seeing her 3 — 5 times, my chronic pain improved tremendously. The number of my headache & backache episodes decreased and the time between each episode increased.
I have been seeing her for many years now and because I haven’t had pain like I used to so I only call her whenever my back is out i.e. from playing golf, bad sleeping position, or carrying something too heavy.
However, after I moved away from Pasadena I did try 2 other Doctors. One in Glendale and Studio City. I was trying to see if I can find a Doctor closer to my house instead of driving 30mins on fwy to Pasadena — I’m lazy.
The 1^st time I tried one Dr in Glendale, however my neck & back pain got even worse. I even gave this Dr a 2^nd chance but the 2^nd time he inflicted more pain on me and I was basically on Advil 3 x per day and started counting down the days until Dr Abbinanti came back.
Unfortunately I didn’t learn my lesson the 1^st time, and I was too lazy to drive to Pasadena so I tried a different Dr in Studio City. It was a such big mistake because this other Doctor aggravated my pain even more and I couldn’t even sleep. This Dr told me it would take few days to recover but I was in constant pain for days and in the end I decided to drive to Pasadena and have Dr Abbinanti adjusted me which fixed the problem.
My biggest fear now is that I’m moving to the East coast, and I’m already dreading what will happen if my back/​neck is out. I’m afraid to try anyone else besides Dr. Abbinanti.

I sprained my ankle and the swelling was not going down as well as I would like. I saw Monique today and she was very helpful, very caring and explained things very carefully for me.
She hooked my ankle up to an electrical machine to help alleviate the swelling, and was very attentive to make sure the pulses were within my comfort zone.
I felt comfortable the moment I walked in the door, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone else in need of warm, expert care.
I hope not to be injured again, but if I am, I know right where I’m going.

I agree: she is attentive, courteous, very nice, creates a great environment… to the point I don’t even want to write this review, however…
Disagree: I went to her for a couple years. The result was gradually increasing pain & the onset of chronic migraines when I did not have them before.
Note: she might be fine for you, if you do not have chronic issues.
Found out later her adjustments were incomplete. Going directly from her to another chiro I found out my neck was hyper-​mobile (from frequent adjustments to correct the issue that was never quite corrected). He demonstrated how it was loose and wobbly. Lower neck in shoulder area was not corrected at all. This explains the migraines. Also, lower back was still out.
Incomplete adjustments without addressing the root cause
= parts going back out immediately, having to come back the same week or the following week for correction (over and over year after year)
= tendons, ligaments, & joints in surrounding areas being constantly irritated and not healing & setting properly (overall pain and lessened mobility)
= the state I was in, constant pain, could barely move, on pain-​killers
Wish I could have seen & understood what was going on before, But, it was so gradual & slow, it wasn’t noticeable until the end, where I could barely move without pain, constant back-​brace, and I noticed people around me, way older than I, were fine… that’s when I learned.
Could have saved a couple grand per year. ²⁰⁄₂₀ hindsight.

Dr Abbinanti is so knowledgable and pleasant. She made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Her office is decorated with a personal touch which made me feel like she really cares about her patients. She is intuitive in her treatment plan and allowed me to get the best adjustment I’ve ever had from a chiropractor. I would recommend her to everyone. Oh yeah, her dog is cute too.

Just to echo the comments of other reviewers, Dr Abbinanti is awesome. So is her dog, who chills out on the waiting room couch.
I went in after a cycling crash and she was able to figure out how I must have fallen and popped my shoulder back into place with a few pushes on her special table. It was my first time at a chiropractor and I was a little terrified and I told her that I have a phobia of having my back cracked, so she was careful to explain what and when she was doing things. I felt so much better after going to her and I really appreciate that she saw me on rather short notice!

Great. Takes her time. Listens to your complaints. Does whatever is necessary, including electrical stim and ultrasound. She really helped me through some painful jams.

Great chiropractor. Great adjustments, including a couple of shoulder adjustments I’d never had before. Highly recommend Dr Abbinanti.

After starting a new job and having to commute for 2 hours a day, I started feeling numbness in my legs, my arms, my face. If it were simply a pinched nerve in the brachial plexus or the sciatic nerve, the numbness would have been localized. I couldn’t afford health insurance or expensive doctors. Someone suggested I see a chiropractor, just to see. I was very worried.
I looked on Unilocal and found Dr. Abbinanti. She cracked my neck and the symptoms went away.
Dr. Abbinanti continues to deliver the most thorough chiropractic care I’ve ever had.

I’ve still continued to go to Dr. Abbinanti and do not regret any visit at all! She works with my crazy schedule and just takes care of anything that bothers me. I inform her of other ailments and she advises me on what to look in to and more. She’s just straight awesome.
Sometimes I see her after my Torrance work appointments and sometimes I see her after I work in Fountain Valley. Both areas are REALLY far from her but she’s worth it.
She’ll squeeze you in, work with you, and is just friendly, lovely, and flexible all around. If you’ve EVER considered going to a chiropractor and was paranoid like I was, go see Dr. Abbinanti. Seriously.

Dr. Abbinanti is THE BEST!

Just wonderful. Dr. Abbinanti is not only incredibly good at what she does; she’s also gentle, patient, comforting, smart, and funny. She works very precisely to get at whatever’s ailing me (more often then not, some subtle thing out of whack in my neck). I’ve never felt as if I’m being rushed in and out or given cursory treatment, even if I’ve dropped in unannounced when she’s had an office full of patients. (Sure, I’ve had to wait my turn, but playing with her charming dog Misho has made the time fly by.)
As an athlete, Dr. Abbinanti empathizes with the active person recovering from strains, sprains, even breaks. You can trust her to help you strike a balance on the road to wellness between pushing yourself too hard and babying yourself too much.
Dr. Abbinanti took over the practice of Dr. Clark, a sweet, kind man who strove to make his patients feel «as right as rain.» As he neared retirement, Clark sought out a practitioner who would treat his patients right and carry on his legacy of effective and compassionate healing. He couldn’t have made a better choice than Dr. Abbinanti.

I went to her based on a Unilocal review. I’m totally paranoid about chiropractors: some of them are purely chop shops for insurance and leave you in more pain than before.
Anyways, I’m totally hooked on her adjustments: she’s very compassionate, extremely knowledgable, and most importantly she has this calming effect.
I know this is silly, but I knew I found the right place when i used her restroom: she had real, quality, trader joes soap for patients. STOP! know this silly! But, this is my wierd way of determining if a doctor cuts corners for when it comes to patients, or if she genuinely tries to do things right for herself as well as her patients.
Anyways, she’s a fantastic chiropractor and very genuine, compassionate person. I found my chiropractor!!!
