Kennelly and Associates

My husband is self-​employed and had been using an accountant in the Altadena area until I discovered a major problem while filing a FAFSA for my daughter — unbeknownst to us our taxes had not been filed for the previous year! Needless to say, I was livid!
I found Kennelly and Associates on the internet and had my husband make an appointment. Bo was like a cool, calm drink of water on the hottest day of the year. He calmed us down, told us what needed to be done and set all the wheels in motion to correct years of incorrect filings by our previously mentioned whack-​job of an account. He also gave us suggestions and pointed out many things our ex-​accountant had neglected to tell us. This happened a few years ago and we’ve been returning to Kennelly and Associates ever since.
Bottom line — Kennelly and Associates rock! Bo is knowledgeable and has years of experience. I would highly recommend this accounting service.

Finding myself in a complicated and nerve wracking situation that went back several years, I went to Bo 2 years ago. He was not only an exceptionally knowledgeable professional beyond what I had ever encountered in the past, but kind and compassionate at the same time. Every issue I had was resolved and taken care of to my complete satisfaction. I have the utmost trust and confidence in Bo, and continue to work with him. I highly recommend him.

When tax time comes you need answers fast. Bo was quick to help my son who didnt’ file for 3 years. When he did, my son got money back. I have found Bo to be an excellent accountant who has a mindset to help people in difficult situations and to give sound counsel for the future.

Due to my excellent experience with Mr. Kennelly, I feel I should write my very first Unilocal review.
I initially called Mr. Kennelly in a bit of a bind, and I have to admit that I was severely lacking in knowledge in all areas of not even just tax preparation, but even what I needed to do myself in order to help him help me.
Mr. Kennelly took the time to very clearly explain what my process was going to be, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Not only was the process painless, but after a couple visits I was left feeling empowered and educated about tax issues for the first time in my life. That’s kind of priceless, really.
I have zero concerns about Mr. Kennelly’s expertise, ability, and most importantly, intentions. Everything was done on the date and time agreed, to the letter. He worked with me on his payment schedule, and I feel his services were an excellent value.
In a way, I’m hesitant to give 5 stars because I really do not have much experience with accounting services. But my personal experience was so great, maybe that’s all that matters in this case!
