Ummm… It is okay, but the customer service is lacking at best. Tiny compared to other Kate Spade NY boutiques, the staff won’t crack a smile until they are ringing you up. It is even hard to get acknowledgement… I mean the size of the store is like a booger, so everyone in the boutique is noticeable at one glance.

Love the Kate Spade brand and always have a great experience. Today at this particular store, 3 ladies passed me and never said hello or offered help. It’s a small store do it’s hard not to notice people walking around. As I was trying on a bag, one stood next to me watching and never said a word. Disappointed with the customer service today.

this is the first review I’m writing on Unilocal.I came from west la and happened to be shopping around in old Pasadena. I purchased a dress and (handed to the lady) and ended up with a wrong size and NO RECEIPT. I called the store and asked them if I can return it in my closer by location. She spoke to me like she doesn’t give a ****. She told me that I couldn’t return at my closer location and had to go back to Pasadena. And they even almost took my credit card when I paid. They act like it’s all my fault while they take none. In all my life of shopping worldwide, I’ve never had anything like this. Never liked KS too much, and now never will. How sad.

This Kate Spade location is located across the street from the Apple Store in case you are having some trouble looking for it. Anyways, I came in this store with my husband yesterday afternoon to return an item I purchased on their website (nothing wrong with the bag, just got the exact same bag even cheaper at their store after I had already ordered it on line).
When I first walked in, I noticed the snacks and drinks in the shoe area. These candies, dried fruits and nuts were put out purposely for Chinese New Year (how thoughtful was that? A few of the employees also wore red for the special occasion as well). It was also a nice touch to have lemonade bottles on ice with cute red and white straws out as well (free of charge, but didn’t get one… just not a lemonade person).
Anyways, after I pointed to the thoughtful gesture to my husband, right after I turned around to look at some of the items in the store, there was a sale’s associate on the floor and asked me if I needed any help. I told her I was here to return my purse from the store. Unfortunately when we arrived, two managers were both having lunch and the only other manager available to process the return was with another client. So the sales associate asked if I would like to wait by the shoes (As there was a couch there, along with the drinks and snacks I mentioned earlier). She also asked if I would like to exchange the bag for something else in the store, so I decided just to walk around and browse.
Currently right now, their sales section (in the back of the store) is having an up to 40% off discount right now. As I was browsing the store, another sales associate approached me, Summer. She was helpful in showing me a few different types of handbags that she thought I might like, after I explained to her what style I like (I am rather particular. I don’t like boxy and rectangular bags and prefer something more of a satchel look). Summer was very nice and understanding when I told her of my opinions of some of the bags she showed me. She was also a nice person to talk to.
Anyways, after deciding that I did not want to exchange my bag for anything, Summer ended up helping me with my return. She also asked if I would like to provide my contact information so that I can be informed of their private sales and information on their sales earlier than the general public (which I provided my contact info for).
Just as I had enjoyed my shopping experience at the Kate Spade location at the Americana in Glendale (this location is just a little bit bigger), this was also quite an enjoyable one. Summer provided exceptional service and was a warm hearted person. I will definitely come back here again.

I love kate spade products, but the experiences at this store have made me never want to purchase any of their products again. The manager there is not helpful, and won’t do anything to make it right if there is an issue. Kate spade is not a cheap company, I would expect better customer service for somewhere that charges 300+ for a purse. I think I will save my money for a company that actually values their customers.

I love Kate Spade stuff. The sales ladies here are extremely happy to sell. But god forbid, you try to return something. Every excuse in the book. I recently tried to return an online item here, and instead of doing the transaction to return, the sales agent said here is a copy of your receipt, I will mail it back to
and they will refund you in 1 – 2 weeks. Just poor service. This should not happen according to the customer service agents by phone.

This location has everything– great attention, variety of items, and a great atmosphere. The salespeople are a sweetheart and the manager is very kind. She is extremely helpful and nice. I went in with my mom and we were there for a while because Kate Spade has the perfect style– it’s classy, young, and playful. They had amazing colors for all their handbags. And that’s one thing I like about this KS, it always has the bag I’m looking for. I’ve been to other locations like Newport & Glendale and I’m usually told «Sorry we’re out of stock». But the KS in Pasadena never gives me this problem.
This store is also well-​maintained, very neat and clean inside! There’s also seating inside.
I bought a bag and I was mesmerized by how the lady packed it for me, their service is one you will not find just anywhere! Completely in love!

I’m a huge fan of Kate Spade’s classic style and was thrilled that a store opened in my neighborhood (normally buy my KS at Nordstrom). Jill was my stylist/​consultant, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her! She was kind, patient, thoughtful and has amazing fashion sense and style. Thank you, Jill, for such a positive experience!

I love Kate Spade. I think her designs are very elegant and sweet yet still simple and sophisticated.
That being said, the service as the Pasadena location was AMAZING.
I came here to buy some bridesmaid gifts and the girls were so helpful. Once I purchased the items they took the time to carefully wrap each one and tie a bow on the box. If the bow wasn’t straight, they redid it until they all looked perfect.
Not once did I feel rushed. I felt like a VIP customer. Highly recommended if you want to buy any Kate Spade stuff!

Its been forever since Ive been down to Pasadena, and its changed so much since I lived there, so lively, and so much shopping!
I had relatives from out of the US, and they had been everywhere, but my cousin was in the mood to buy a purse, and have a bite to eat afterwards.
I thought Pasadena town would be perfect!
We ended up at the Kate Spade store, small but cute and colorful. immediately, the salespeople were so nice! My cousin and I were in Purse heaven! I just LOVE Kate Spades style, she has amazing jewelry, that is reasonable, and they happened to have a few purses on sale that were an additional 25% off! The salesperson was fun and helpful, not pushy, and my cousin scored and bought an amazing navy cruiseline purse at over ½ off.
I almost did, and the salesperson who was very helpful, did say Ala Moana has a much bigger inventory, and sales tax in California is 9% now! We walked out happy campers, and I would suggest this store if you are in DT Pas, great product and nice staff.

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. I wasn’t gonna enter the store, but since the sun was so strong, I decided to get in to get some break from the sun. The saleswoman there was really friendly. I was not thinking of getting anything. I headed straight to the furthest end for the sale section and saw a bag I like on sale for almost ½ off. I hesitated for a while (due to the price). The saleswoman told me to take my time to think about it. I ended up getting it! The bag was really cute, and it’s on sale! My boyfriend also got me a cute pink phone-​shaped keychain to go with the bag at the same time. It’s expensive, but it’s really cute!

Very nice staff. While visiting my family I had meant to stop in to grab a pair of earrings that had been sold out everywhere online. Managed to find 2 pairs I couldn’t live without and they shipped them back home to Utah for me. I also had my 3 y.o. and they had a nice little candy stash in the back he got to choose a lollipop from. That gesture alone went a very long way with both of us. It bought me a little more time to shop :)

My 100^th review is for Kate Spade! Oh how I love thee! The store in Old Town is really nice. If you are looking for something bright for yourself or mom for Mother’s Day this is a great place to go. Your mom will love it!

Store: I had been in here a couple weeks ago and saw some really cute i phone covers so I had to go back and get one. They have about 10 different designs in very vibrant colors. They have some really nice handbags, shoes and accessories too.

This Kate Spade location is by far my favorite one. I’ve been to many in NYC, but the customer service at this location in Pasadena is seriously unbeatable. The ladies who work here are extremely friendly, helpful, and positive.
I came here to use a gift-​card I had received. After picking out a few pieces of clothing, I went to check-​out and found that the gift-​card was causing problems and not being taken by the computer. The manager and superviser who were helping me were so nice and apologetic, I couldn’t get annoyed; they were truly dolls given the annoyance of the situation.
This location has a great selection of all Kate Spade products, always carrying the most up-​to-​date pieces for the season-​from an abundance of clothing and shoes, to jewelry and bags.
The superb customer service is enough to keep me coming back to one of my favorite stores! This Kate Spade does not disappoint!

My favorite Kate Spade Store! I live in LA but will drive out here for the great selection and stellar customer service. The ladies who work here are soooooo nice. On one of my visits I met Cristina who was very friendly and warm. We chatted a while only to realize we lived in the same neighborhood and frequented some of the same local businesses. Cristina asked for my address and since then I often get beautiful cards in the mail offering me the «friends and family» discount on my Kate Spade purchases.
Cristina is a FANTASTIC salesperson! She is genuinely friendly while still very professional and promoting the brand she represents by offering me great deals for my loyalty to Kate Spade. I can’t rave enough about the great service I ALWAYs receive there; whether I am making a purchase, an exchange of a return. Some high-​end brands tend to be very friendly until you buy something but if you are returning there tends to be some tension and snotty treatment. This will NEVER happen to you at KS! Whether you are helped by Cristina or any of the other ladies you will feel like a princess, like a little girl in a toy store, only instead of toys it’s colorful purses, handbags and wallets. Glitzy, elegant jewelry and SHOES! SHOES! SHOES! Clothing is not worth mentioning (due to very limited selection) but the shoes outshine everything else.
Not a place I can afford to buy everything for my closet, but definitely one of my favorite places to browse and my guilty pleasurable splurge every once in a blue moon, or maybe a full moon (those come around a bit more often!)!

Oh bows, you get me every time without fail. Kate Spade, you will definitely be the death of my signing bonus.

I spoke with Kelly for a good 20 minutes about the vision of Kate Spade and its new lines. Their store is always impecable and lures you in! I’ll definitely come back and make multiple purchases from Kelly for being such a sweetheart. :)

When the laser-​sharp eyes of the nun-​like woman who lives next door gives you that scowl that you deserve? My date with Kate. Most days I leave the house without make up in flip flops, & jeans. But when I really plan on shopping, I try to look a little put together. I want the stores to take me seriously and I’m really insecure. (I have watched «Pretty Woman» a million times) The first time I walked into Kate Spade, I was not prepared. Like that blind date where the boy turned out to be drop-​dead gorgeous and suddenly, I wished I’d dressed up. I was wearing my typical flip flops, jeans and a ponytail. Oh well.
I really needed a new wallet so I walked into Kate Spade anyway. Just to look. Expecting to get shunned. Expecting to take a peak at the price tags and then walk out shamefully with fingers pointing at the nearest exit for me. But they were all smiles. Helpful. Pointed out the newest arrivals as well as the sale merchandise without a single downward glance.
I looked around to make sure the kind welcome I was given didn’t belong to someone more deserving. But it didn’t. I’d never been to Kate Spade before so I didn’t know what to expect. I remember Kate’s name being a coveted knockoff when I was a kid, so my mind thought of thousand dollar price tags. Thankfully, I was wrong.
In summer 2011, Kate Spade has punch-​colored playful pieces and understated ones too. All unassuming and charming. Kate’s amazing well-​made leather bags and wallets start close to $ 100. Very affordable. The reason I’m in the market for a wallet is because I’ve been losing things.(I lose a lot of things)
My last wallet was Ferragamo and before that Gucci. While they were good wallets, both made to last, neither of these wallets had closures that truly secured my cash and cards, so I lost a few things over the years.
My new Kate Spade wallet. I LOVE it. It has several compartments for cards, a chic tortoiseshell comb, a cute removable mirror that says «ooh la la», a kiss lock coin purse and… a 14 carat gold-​plated twist lock that secures everything inside the wallet. Bulletproof? Even better. Mary-​proof.

Sometimes you don’t remember how you lost your lipstick the night before other than it was fun losing it. Sometimes you end up marrying your one-​night stand.
