I was looking up Jo-​Ann as she was my brother’s girlfriend, and had so much fun talking to her at my mom’s 90^th birthday. Wow, everyone gave her 5 stars! I was amazed, I never saw anyone in the universe get 5 stars across the board for any service or product before. She must really be hot! In my mind, I was already thinking who I’d recommend her to on the basis of all these stars. Since people often research businesses (and their owners) by looking them up on Unilocal or something, I think that I can safely recommend her. I grew up with a health-​nut vegetarian, now vegan mom so haven’t had the need for colonics, however if I ever did I’d only want her to do it! I’d give her 6 just for being so on top of things if I could. Hurrah for the Jo-​Annes of the world and this one in our midst, especially. Imagine doing a review on someone or something that you haven’t even tried… I guess a lot of people will rate this as unhelpful but I’m impressed by all the nice things everyone wrote.

Jo-​Ann is such a lovely person. She’s very professional and knowledgable about what she does. I also love how she gave me nutritional advice.
I’ve gotten colonics before with someone else but it’s been a few months already. For a few weeks, my stomach didn’t feel right after a meal. So I looked on Unilocal and found Jo-​Ann. I gave her a call and was able to get an appointment a week later.
I was definitely nervous since its someone new but she made me feel comfortable right away. After my first session, the stomach pains I experienced did not come back. I also noticed that I felt full faster after eating which is great! I also purchased one of the herbs to help with my cleanse. I’m so glad I did because it helped my two sessions after.
I’ve done 3 sessions so far and I feel great. I noticed that I don’t seem so bloated anymore as well.
I would highly recommend her to anybody that’s thinking of getting colonics done :)

I couldn’t have asked for better service and environment especially for my first time. JoAnn has a small room off her master bedroom where she performs the treatments in her home. It is clean, comfortable and organized. She was great answering my questions and I felt I was in very good hands. She has done so many that she doesn’t even need to think about it, she is prompt and attentive and tuned in to how the treatment is going. I have recommended her to others and will use her in the future.

I got really sick on Nov 2014. My digestive system was a mess and no doctor was able to explain what’s going on. I was seeing a gastroenterologist at Cedars Sinai. Every time he prescribed medication or a probiotic, the pain increased and had unexplained bleeding. The six pack I had most of my life turned into a permanent 3 months pregnant looking abdomen. Every sip of water or bite of food made me super miserable. A friend of mine suggested that I try colon hydrotherapy. I read about the procedure online. There were articles that praised the procedure and others that warned against it. I was so miserable, I thought why not try it out? What do I have to lose?
BEST DECISION I MADE. I read reviews for many therapists. I called and interviewed few therapists. I liked Jo Ann the most. She was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. My first appointment was in Sep 2015. After the procedure, she recommended a cleanse and recommended some changes to my diet. Within a week I was feeling so much better. No more excruciating pain, bloating and bleeding. The cleanse and probiotics she proscribed served their purpose without any side effects. The only thing I regret that I did not find her sooner. She would have saved me from all the suffering. After the first session, I started feeling better. Within three weeks, my abs were flat again and I no longer looked pregnant. My energy levels returned to normal and I no longer dreaded going to the gym. At first I saw her every week but as I got better, I just saw her for regular maintenance. Now, that I am moving to another state I will miss her terribly. I am praying that I find another knowledgeable and kind therapist like her.
If I can give her 6 stars, I would!

Jo-​Ann is very professional and knowledgeable. She makes me relax when I get nervous. I was so surprised when she told me about her age since she has the most healthy& glowing skin (I have to say, she looks younger than the most 35years old women). She is very kind to tell me how to take care body& skin, drink &eat well. Now I know how I can take better care of myself, how to have a clean body and glowing face without makeup~ To be honest, this is not the lowest place for colon hydrotherapy but it worth every penny. Joanne is the first experience I have ever had with a colonic. It was awesome. She maintains a clean, neat and comfy place. The price is reasonable ($ 95). She is nice and professional and knowledgeable.

I’ve been going to Jo-Ann’s for a few months now. She is so wonderful, she makes you feel comfortable and makes the whole experience as pleasant as can be. If you’re new to colonics, this is definitely the place to go. She will also give you great advice to adjust your diet to improve your digestive health. I leave her house every time feeling energized and renewed! The colonics have really helped my digestive health, and I feel an overall increase in my wellbeing and energy level.

I have been going to see Jo Ann for about a month now and her services have worked wonders on me! Before going to her, I felt sluggish and tired all the time. I workout daily and eat pretty healthy, but nothing seemed to help my slow digestion. After going to her for colonics once a week for a month and carefully following her cleanses and adjusting my diet (more leafy greens, no wheat, less meat, etc.), I feel much better! My skin is smoother and I don’t feel as bloated either! I have had poor digestion my whole life and I wish I had tried colonics before. When I came to her, I had not pooped in 2 weeks. I was feeling horrible, irritable and feeling like a heat sensation through my body. I have never done this but one of my friends suggested to do this. I liked the fact she was a nurse so I tried it. OMG, the first session, ofcourse I did not release a whole lot, I was clogged, LOL. However, it was not just the colonics it was the rapport I developed during the session and her nurturing sense that helped me change my diet and increase water intake. My stomach went from looking like beginning stages of pregnancy to now the 4^th colonic going flat. It is not just the procedure but the enzymes I am taking to break it down and my diet. She is clearly skilled and mastered the technique. I would recommend her to anyone that really is interested in feeling 100% of relief.

Had a great experience. I had done colonic before due to the health benefits of cleansing toxic waste from my system. However I just moved to Pasadena a few months ago, so I was looking to go local. I have been going to Jo-​Ann weekly for nearly a year and I can tell you that I’ve had major health improvements by following her advice and receiving her services. Before going to Jo-Ann’s, I was sluggish, fatigued, and a bit overweight. After following her nutrition advice and receiving regular colonics, I have more energy, experience more regularity, have increased mental clarity, and I have gradually lost 20 lbs.

Jo Ann is the best in the field because she is warm, personable and extremely knowledgable, which is a necessity to do what she does. Please do not let the fact that she works out of her home deter you, which it almost did me, because the environment is comfortable, clean and relaxing. It actually works in our favor because I never feel like I’m just a client to her, but someone whom she is genuinely trying to help improve my overall health and well-​being. Jo Ann has mastered the delicate art of professional bedside manner.

Jo-​Ann has the type of home that puts you at ease the minute you see it and walk through her door, meeting Jo-​Ann only reassures you that you have made the right choice in going to her for a colonic. My first colonic was a comfortable experience in which I learned a great deal about my body and how I can take better care of it. It was my first time doing this and its been supper good for me I did the colon and liver cleanse and I feel great Joann is supper cool and knows what’s up on this hole subject. So far obvious changes that I’ve felt are no more stomach bloating, increased energy and my skin has been clearing up.

I had colonics before, the lady left the room after giving me the instructions, but with Jo-​Ann was different, she stayed with me the whole time, bombarding me with valuable health information. She is RN, nutritionist, married and family counselor, she has done 16.000 colonics. Jo-​Ann is very sweet, friendly and loving. I strongly recommend her. She is the best.

It was my first time getting a colonics and i have to say that i am very satisfied! I immediately saw the results and Jo-​Ann gave me a lot of great tips about what to eat and not to eat. She makes you feel very comfterble, even if you are a guy, and i say that because my boyfriend got one too! Speaking in the whole general context, everything about what happens here is undesirable. You don’t want to have to do anything that this service offers. I can think of hundreds of things I would rather be doing getting my colon irrigated. But for those that know, the positive effects of the service are amazing. So with that in mind, what is it you need to make that situation the best possible experience. Do you want a cold room and white walls with a person who is hours into a work shift and wants to go home? Maybe? OR, how about you take the absolute sweetest, most comforting and nurturing human you have ever met. Go to their home that is dripping with Zen and have them perform the procedure there. Sound good?
