Jill Sekiguchi, DDS

Jill is AMAZING. I have what is called «trench mouth» and she helped me in my time of need. After going to my regular dentist and getting no relief (actually getting worse), I was in so much pain and couldn’t take it anymore. She was a god send… She was on vacation when I spoke with her and she was so wonderful with her advice. So sweet and genuine. Her advice worked, and just the fact that she actually CARED made me feel better immediately. Everyone should have the pleasure of having her as their dentist. I live hundreds of miles from her office, but I will make the trek just to see her to take care of my teeth.

Dr. Jill Sekiguchi is my dream dentist. ive always been terrified to go to the dentist since i was a kid. this was my first visit today and i love her. she was sweet and gentle with my teeth. she knew i had a fear of dentists so she was super nice towards me. it was the most soothing dental visit ive had in my life! i highly recommend her. her staff is great as well. the only drawback is you have to make an appt to see her. shes very popular and has a lot of patients. so book your appt asap

The staff is so warm and kind. You walk in and feel like an old friend. I don’t want to demean how knowledgeable and smart this dentist is, (because damn girl… Dr. Jill is all THAT!) but she is so relaxed, so down to earth and has such a reassuring and calming presence! Dr. Jill has a wonderful «It’s all good» vibe. And you know what? It is all good here.
No alarmist proclamations made! She truly believes that teeth can last a life time and she is willing to help you reach that goal.
I hadn’t had a cleaning in several years– (yikes!) And that plague wasn’t a pretty sight! The hygienist however, worked slowly and methodically and as gently as possible and gave me the best cleaning I have ever had.
Plus Dr. Jill takes the time to connect to you. There is no up-​sell. Her advice is practical and grounded.
I have to say this is one of the BEST recommendations I have ever gotten.

Dr. Sekeguchi made my cavity repair a better than usual experience. Have to admit I was not looking forward to it, but it was over in a snap with no pain. I’m actually looking forward to getting my second one repaired…

So… Who likes going to the dentist? I do now… now that I have found the right one! I went to 3 other dentists before going to Dr. Jill with a tooth problem: hot and cold and pressure sensitive. All the others said that I would need a root canal! When I saw Dr. Jill, she went in there, found the problem: a crack and a bit of decay under a filling, and fixed the problem and I didn’t even curl my toes once! I had forgotten what it felt like to chew on that side and now I can eat ice cream and suck on ice-​blended to my hearts content or till my arteries clog up:)!
Her aloha shirts match her attitude. What a great find! I just had to share.
