Jenette Bras

This has been by far the best bra buying experience of my life. Agueda did my fitting and she was so friendly and helpful. I have never had so many choices to choose from in my size! It was well worth the 2 hour drive to shop here. I definitely will return and recommend this store to anyone with a D or larger bra size.

Excellent place; pricey but beautiful over the top lingerie for the lady who is well endowed; excellent fitting; lovely panties and swimsuits-​way better than other stores.

I don’t like to have to return to stores after I find out there’s a problem. I was there Black Friday and was supposed to receive 15% off which is a deal considering bras made in these sizes are so expensive. I had to call them to ask about my discount and of course I had to go back :/
At least the ladies here are very friendly and accommodating.

Watch out! This store is not that great at fitting. I’ve worn Prima Donna bras for a long time and needed a new one. Since there aren’t many places where you can try them on, I decided to try Jenette’s. The sales lady kept insisting that I’m really a 34, not a 36. And she simply did not listen when I suggested that it was a bit tight. I thought perhaps I had been wearing the wrong size, so I bought it. Wrong! And since all sales are final, I am stuck with a size 34 that is just not as comfortable as it should be. Also, the inventory was not that great. I asked about sports bras and all they had were a couple of styles that were not what I was looking for.

I am never going to department stores for bras again. Even if you find one with great service and a fantastic, knowledgeable fitter (which do exist, e.g. at some Nordstrom), they just do not have a wide enough selection in my size.
Not so at Jeanette. Even a 38 °F lady like myself can find all sorts of bras — both pretty and functional — in several colors, coverage options, brands, and designs.
The service is tailored and personal. You can expect one-​on-​one attention for as long as you need to get it right. They keep track of what you buy, and what worked and did not. Once they know that, they can tailor recommendations to you.
The atmosphere is private and comfortable.
When one of the bras I bought bought had an underwire break through shortly after purchase, they made a note of it and gave me a credit for my next purchase that covered the cost of a tailor repairing the bra.
I recently called them and asked what size and style my last purchase was (as the label on the bra did not say). They told me, and also told me what colors were available in not only their Pasadena store, but also other stores. They even said that if they did not have what I wanted, I could always find the same bra in other colors online. This makes me feel like they care about me getting what I want more than making a sale. I ordered two of the bras in different colors; and even though they were in two different stores, they only charged me shipping once. Their price was only a couple dollars more than on Amazon.
Jenette bras has a customer for life.

Went here to get fitted for a bra because I had a bad experience at another place where they claim to know about bra fitting. My bras before fit improperly and the straps were falling off. The ladies were so nice and I was properly fitted for a bra. Although I am plus size I was able to find a bra in my size (not many but I found what I needed). I was also able to get suggestions on brands that I could order from online and which sizes to order if I order plunge or full coverage bras. Thanks ladies! You made my day.

To be honest, after all the hype I expected much more. The sales assistant helping me was incredibly nice, and she is there reason I gave three stars instead of two, but unfortunately Jenette Bras just doesn’t have the selection I had expected from a specialty bra shop. I was looking for something for my wedding day in either a nude or white, but all the bras they had in these colors were incredibly dowdy. Just because it’s a neutral color bra does not mean it needs to be completely lacking in sex appeal. Perhaps this shop caters to an older crowd? In my opinion there was nothing there that you couldn’t find at any department store.

The secret to a great bra buying boutique is excellent service. I felt the service was lacking at least with the woman assigned to me. I didn’t buy a bra. I didn’t feel comfortable. I will say that the lingerie that they have in stock is gorgeous and my friends had a pleasant experience. I also felt that they weren’t as skilled as the ladies at A Perfect Fit in Tustin.

Pretty bras for D-​cups and larger? WHAT?! That alone blows my mind.
I know that the bras I’ve been wearing for years were ill-​fitting and just figured they were «good-​enough.» I’d never gotten a proper fitting nor did I have the money to spend on such things. But I’m about to convert to a standing desk and feel I finally need to spend the dough to get some good, no, GREAT bras so that my back doesn’t get destroyed from standing for 8 hours a day.
Jenette did not let me down. The woman who helped me was friendly and a fuckin’ wizard. She looked at the bra I was wearing, then brought out a couple bras. Within TWO BRAS she nailed my correct size. She explained to me how a bra should fit. I learned things that I never dreamed.
I walked out with a new bra and less hatred for my large chest. Bad bras make big tatas feel cumbersome and dumpy. Life is to short for that. Get yourself a good bra. It’s totally worth it.

The most amazing store ever!!! It’s very hard to find bras that fit my size! Been coming here for years for both my bras and swimsuits. Always amazing quality and employees are so friendly and knowledgable. Never buying another bra from anywhere else.

I give this place 5 stars because I love the concept and I actually once had a really great experience here. However, the last time I shopped at this location the service was just okay. I showed up about 30 minutes before closing and the associate made sure to let me know this (the reason I couldn’t get in earlier is that I’m a stay at home mother to a 1 year old with a husband who is currently working 7 days a week and this was the only time I could get a sitter.) Anyway, I had the same issue another Unilocaler had with the associate telling me I was probably a 38C. She Had me try on a couple of uncomfortable fitting 36D bras (I ended up purchasing 1 at $ 92) and then she suggested i go elsewhere for that 38C. So off to nordstrom I went where I figured out on my own that I was a 32E.
So basically this place is hit or miss. My first visit was AMAZING. The woman assisting me took her time, understood what i wanted, and taught me how a bra should really fit, which eventually helped me out for my nordstrom trip. She recognized when something was pinching or just not fitting quite right and didn’t let me leave without being 100% happy. She emphasized their no return policy and made sure I would be completely happy and comfortable with everything I took home. I left feeling comfortable and confident and so happy with this cute little shop. For that i give this place 5 stars and will try one more time hoping to get that type of service again.

Absolutely love this place! Had the best first experience here today as I tried on all the bras I wanted to find the right one for myself. The ladies were very helpful and made me feel comfortable and I left a happy lady with two new bras that are amazing.

A 30H is a hard size to find anywhere. Victoria’s Secret doesn’t cut it. Low quality and nothing larger than a DD. Plus, they’re sales associates don’t know how to measure properly. Me a DD? Funny.
The sales associates here at Jenette Bras are friendly and knowledgeable. The associate who helped me knew my size just by looking at me in my old bra, then double checked with measuring and feeling the space around my band. Spot on.
Nothing will give you more confidence then a good fitting bra. The price tag may surprise you but they are comparable with online sites and other largebra stores. Best decision I’ve made all year. Thanks, Jenette, for offering great service and selling good quality bras for us large bust girls.

I just came back from Pasadena with two bras I ended up buying somewehere else.
I had heard many things about Jennete’s, all good things in fact. I heard that they were one of very few places that have larger sized bras, and that they actually fit you. I guess I expected too much. I really thought there’d be a person with a tape measure, who was going to give me my exact measurements for free, and show me a collection of bras that would fit so well that spending $ 100+ would be totally worth it.
Well, I went it, and there were a few ladies there ahead of me getting fitted, so I had to wait about 20 minutes. No big deal. My turn came up and the lady who helped me had me take my shirt off to show her how my current bra fit me. I attempted to tell her the size of the bra when she cut me off and told me it didn’t matter, and that she’d find one that fit me.
She brought out a bra that wasn’t a color I liked, but I figured it didn’t matter because I was mostly interested in finding out what size I am, and that I could ask after the fitting if they had it in the color I wanted. The bra fit ok, and she asked me what my price range was. When I told her that I was interested in the least expensive ones, she brought out ones that didn’t fit me very well. I’m not saying that she did this on purpose, but I’m not lying when I tell you that it made me feel bad.
When we couldn’t find a bra that fit well out of the ones she brought out, and the sizes went from 34 D to 36D to 34DD, she said that she felt that I was likely a C cup and I should try Nordstoms. She invited me back if I still couldn’t find a good fit, but I mean why would I go back if I’m supposedly a C cup and Jenette’s doesn’t carry C cups?
I left empty handed, and disappointed in my experience at Jenette’s. I found another shop in the same city, and ended up finding two bras, both 34 D that fit very nice.
Again, I really hope that it wasn’t because of the way I was dressed, or that I asked to see the inexpensive bras because I felt like I would have spent at least $ 150 on a really good fitting bra at Jenette’s if they’d have been a little more attentive.

It’s a shame I can’t remember the name of the person who took care of me. I’d already been taught about correct bra size by another upscale bra place that’s more on the East coast and was looking for another place who had my size and could help me explore my options. She was great, nailed my size after a once over and brought me endless bras to try. At the end of the day, I ended up with new versions of what I already had; but, it was a great experience never the less.
Remember, you get what you pay for. A good bra is a good investment.

I’ve had my share of ups and downs (lots of downs) in my search for great foundation pieces. My experience is that most stores are impatient and don’t take the time to ensure that you’re truly happy with your purchase. I’m happy to report that Jenette Bras bucked the trend. I found the employees to be extremely friendly and accomodating, plus knowledgeable about their products!
I felt extra special as I had two employees totally devoted to my fitting (lucky for me, I was the only customer in the store at the time). They were wonderful. They provided honest feedback and some great tips on garment care. They even provided a t-​shirt to try on so I could see how it would look with a certain bra. The service is an A-​plus!
I was also pleased with the selection. Really, finding the correct undergarment is a process. I must have tried on 15 bras. The beauty of it all? The store had at least 15 bras in my size to try!
I don’t know what you’re waiting for. Get to Jenette Bras and get a proper lift!

I walked in for the first time and the fitter took one look at me and said, «I don’t think you’ll fit.» I know «the alphabet starts at D,» but wow, there has got to be a better way to say that — especially as professional fitters have put me into (admittedly small-​numbered) D’s and this fitter ended up putting me into an E in one brand.
So we go back to try things on and she makes it clear that she’s having a hard time finding something that will fit me because I’m «a shallow D.» Again, you’re talking about women’s boobs here, a subject most women are a tad sensitive about — tact is important, and there’s probably a better way to say/​handle that.
I also didn’t think she had a great sense of what fit. At least one left me spilling over the top in ways that would leave a line in anything but a thick sweater — not the best look, but she defined the bra as «a good fit.» Another bra left me spilling over the top with huge poufs (for lack of a better term) at the side. The fitter said the bra fit well. «What do you call these?» I asked, pointing at the poufs. «Your underarm,» she replied. What?
We finally found one that worked (an F, if the truth must be known — what was that about not fitting?) and I bought it.
And this is where my dissatisfaction is my own fault: I am old enough to know two things about bra shopping: 1) Never buy a bra without trying it on with the top you want it for, and 2) Never buy a bra when you’re desperate — and I broke both rules.
Turns out this bra, which is strapless, is so very very full coverage that it actually peeks over the top of pretty much every shirt I need it for. I can’t really understand why the bra manufacturer would even make a strapless bra like that.
Ironically, this very difficult bra is still a better fit than the one I was sold at another famous local bra store. Sometimes I think it’s easier to have really enormous boobs, because at least manufacturers/​stores realize that those girls need something special. The small-​numbered high-​lettered girls… there’s ironically even less out there for us.
Long story short… this store is probably great if you’re one of those really obviously big-​boobed girls, but I’ll try somewhere else next time.

What a find. Jennette’s saved me from a loose-​fitting, sad little black lace Target bra and walked me out of there in the Porsche of brassieres, a comfortable, body-​sculpting upgrade that took ten years off my shape and so much exhaustion from my shoulders and back. Before today, I did not know there was a Science of Boobs. Consider me a proud member now of The Church of Boobentology.
Such a cute little shop! The outside resembles a Parisian patisserie. Parking on Holly is a little tough, but I found a spot. The inside of Jennette’s is neat as a pin, and soft, retro music soothes the ear. The staff requires you to fill out a little card when you arrive. It’s so the next time you come in for a brassiere, they’ll practically know your boobs by name and have many selections that fit you to a T. It reminds me of the care you get from an upscale car care shop. How amazing we don’t often do this for our boobage.
Two young ladies were there, a sage and her apprentice. The sage watched over and guided the apprentice, and the apprentice was nimble and quick. Imagine a Bra Builders’ Guild on a planet run by women and you’ll get the idea.
Well, it didn’t take long at all. I walked in bent over, with my two big whoppers sagging unattractively and uncomfortably, and after two suggestions, walked out upright and a lot lighter of spine, with my breasts exactly as high as they really are, supported by a bra that means business, yet isn’t a gladiatorial cuirass hammered from raw volcanic iron by Hephaestus like some of the other fitted bras I’ve seen (and worn).
Comfort, cost, style: what’s missing here? Nothing. I adore this little shop and will go back here for future bras. The support is to die for. You WILL notice the difference. Vive Jennette Goldstein and vive Jennette Bras! You go to a gourmet boutique for your chocolates, your macarons, your dresses, your nails and your car care. Do the same for your breasts. The results will be worth it and surprise you.
A1 bra boutique. Simply a miracle. A1, Five Stars, and Ten if I could.

Aside from food, this is my new guilty pleasure. Why guilty? Well… my wallet doesn’t quite like it so I feel bad for it, but my boobs LOOOOOVE IT!

I had no idea something like this amazing store existed! I now own my every day bra, and my boyfriend just treated me to a lacy bra with bows on it… sexy! BUT I WANT MORE @______@

I love Jenette. LOVE.
In Oct 2011 I got my first two life changing bras from the original store at Hel & Mel. Both were holding up quite well until just recently when my boxer puppy decided to eat one of them (yes, I cried) and the other needed a little tune up on the hook and eye (my mom’s fixing that for me).
I have also taken up running and had enough of rubbing skin off of my breastbone because of ill-​fitting bras and triple layering them with sports bras and built-​in shelf bras on fitness clothing. I was determined to get an incredible sports bra.
This new store is modeled to look identical to the original. Like, it is a perfect twin. While parking can be a little difficult, I much prefer this neighborhood to the East Hollwood one. The ladies in here are super sweet and knowledgeable. One had an Australian accent and the other was in training and I was honored to give her a couple educational moments in fitting.
Not only did I have a plethora of sports bras to choose from, but I can’t believe how wonderful the one I chose is. I ended up leaving the store with a regular every day bra as well, and my mom and I went off to lunch. We did return, however, to purchase a third bra that I was regretting not purchasing in the first place.
I want to say something to the reviewer who was a bit unhappy about not finding molded H cups… your bountiful bosom needs more than a foam semi-​circle. The precisely-​paneled lace and fabric brassieres are what your boobies need. I know what you were feeling as I too was surprised that I had only lace and «floppy fabric» options, but now I would gladly wear a lacy bra made with expert hands over a machine-​pressed boulder bowl.
