Jeffrey Nelson, DO

Wow where do I begin with Dr Nelson and his amazing nurses and staff. He is the true example of an exceptional doctor but more so an amazing person who is so caring and understanding. Because of him, my wife and I are blessed with our miracle baby twin girls who are almost 4 months old now. We were referred to see Dr Nelson by a friend who had her success story with Dr Nelson.
I have to admit that infertility is among one of the most difficult things a couple can go through. And after 3 failed IVF’s with another doctor, we didn’t know if we had any fight left in us as even just one cycle can be more than enough to deter from trying again. However, thanks to our friend, we gave Dr Nelson a chance and we couldn’t be happier about this decision. Comparing to our previous experience, Dr Nelson, evaluated our case very closely and did his best to help us investigate why our previous IVs (with another doctor) were a failure by ruling out all the possibilities by various medical screening or testing. However, at the end of the day, his protocol became the most effective and much more comfortable hence helping us achieve our ultimate goal. In addition, his staff such as Germaine, Addiline, Justina and etc… are second to none who are extremely supportive, patient, professional and responsible who were always wiling to help us understand the whole process which can be quite complicated and helped us with their reassurance all making the IVF process much more positive and hopeful. So I can’t thank them enough for all that they have done for us as our life has now become complete ending a 5 year difficult journey.
So for those who are thinking of giving dr Nelson at HRC a chance, please don’t think twice. Miracles do happen when you are strong, hopeful and under the care of an incredible doctor and a human being. Dr Nelson and staff thank you and we love u! May you continue making a difference in other people’s lives as you did with ours.

There really are no words to express how grateful I am to Dr. Nelson and his nurses Addiline and Germaine. I went to Dr. Nelson after a lot of wasted time with my OBGYN. I was referred to him by my primary doctor whose wife is a NICU doctor and originally found Dr. Nelson. They were able to have children with the help of Dr. Nelson and very very highly recommended him.
As soon as I went to HRC they transformed the experience of trying to start a family into a positive one and gave me hope. Dr. Nelson is really an expert in infertility and immediately tested for things my OBGYN never suggested. Dr. Nelson is very dedicated to you and your situation. Our first meeting was a few hours long where he took the time to explain processes and options. He answered all of our questions and after that we just started working on the plan we discussed.
Dr. Nelson and staff work with us as a team and treat us with respect and so much compassion. I suffered a miscarriage and they couldn’t have been more caring and wonderful. I also had weird late night issues or questions that were part of my infertility issues and I remember talking to a Dr. once at midnight. I was so focused I didn’t realize it was Dr. Nelson until he called later that night to make sure I was ok. He couldn’t sleep because he was concerned about me. Dr. Nelson is very personable and my husband feels very comfortable working with him. This is a huge plus because it is a hard emotional journey and you want to work with a doctor you trust and respect. Dr. Nelson is that doctor to us. Dr. Nelson provides wonderful explanations and advice throughout the process. I recommend Dr. Nelson and HRC without hesitation. If you are even considering a consultation… go! :)
I have recommended Dr. Nelson to a friend and she went for a consultation. She initially had Dr. Nelson review her prior IVF experiences to shadow her care but she has since switched to make him the primary infertility doctor. She and her husband really like him too.
Because of surgery I had to have unrelated to HRC or fertility issues, my husband and I turned to gestational surrogacy to have our child. Dr. Nelson and HRC didn’t judge but instead kindly helped us find an agency to work with and guided us through the process. We are thrilled that we are now expecting a little girl with the help of a surrogate. We just finished another round of IVF for hope of baby number two someday. There really are no words to thank Dr. Nelson, Addiline, Germaine and the staff at HRC for making our dream of having a family come true. They have just been incredible. We are actually going to miss seeing them.

Dr. Nelson gave me a miracle.
I’ll never forget the day I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I was 28 and I was trying to conceive my second child. I was told that both ovaries needed to be removed and I was devastated. I was told by a dear friend that she had someone who could help me and had him call me. Dr. Nelson called me and let me know that even though I was losing my ovaries I had options and that he wouldn’t let me give up hope of giving my daughter a sibling. He was an amazing support after my surgery and when I was fully healed and cancer free for a year, he and I came up with a plan. I’ve never met such a kind and understanding doctor. He genuinely cared about my partner and I and was so hopeful and encouraging. After one donor egg cycle I miscarried all 3 of my babies and I was devastated. Again, Dr. Nelson gave me incredible support. For my 2^nd donor egg IVF he changed my protocol, gave me tons of encouragement and promised me it was going to work. And it did. When I got my diagnosis I never in a million years thought I would get to be pregnant again and have a baby. Dr. Nelson and his staff (Germaine was AMAZING) gave me the most precious gift of my life. My little Kai was the light at the end of a very long tunnel. Fittingly enough, he was born under the sign of «Cancer.» Because of Dr. Nelson and his staff, cancer didn’t take anything from me. It gave me the greatest gift of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What can you say about a man and staff that helped you achieve one of life’s greatest gifts! (twice). Dr. Nelson is a compassionate individual who really loves helping those with infertility problems. I would highly recommend him and his clinic to those in need.
