Specialties

In our kitchen, we strive to deliver an authentically fresh food experience. From preservative-free foods, fresh produce & made from scratch breads and cookies that are baked fresh daily… To a workplace environment that extends «Hope» to those who have been the outcast, the outsourced, and the overlooked. Our goal is to create an environment that reaches out and helps those in need, & connects & encourages our clients to do the same!

History

Established in 1999.

Kilroy’s operations began in 1980 in Monrovia’s «Bag n’ Bottle» liquor store. We made our way to our current location in Pasadena in 1999.

In 2010, Chef Tony Lancaster came on as a consultant and was eventually asked to stay on permanently.

By 2012, Chef Tony gratefully purchased 50% ownership and became Kilroy’s managing partner, alongside David.

Our business has been in transition since the ownership change as we combine both Kilroy’s Sandwich Factory and Chef Tony’s passion, Hope Café and Catering.

From boxed lunches and sandwich platter’s with everything made from scratch to upscale events. Where we offer custom menus to match your taste and budget. Chef Tony and the crew at Hope Café and Catering are looking forward to serving you and your guests at your next event!

Meet the Business Owner

Tony L.

Business Owner

Chef Tony Lancaster:

I started cooking when I was still in high school, always eager to learn new things and eventually wanted to own my own business.

I worked over the years in many different venues. From corporate stores to Mom & Pop… From fine dining to food distributors.

I love to cook, entertain and serve! Naturally catering is a perfect fit. Because I get tired of cooking the same thing over and over, I love creating unique menus to my clients taste and NOT mine. Always tasty, always fresh with my goal being to hear from my clients «WOW, we have never had food like that!»
