Hasting Ranch Dental Group are the best in my book. The staff are fantastic and welcome you with warm greetings. The office is so clean and comfortable. Ever excited about receiving,
cleaning, root canals, fillings, ect? I am because I know it is done with precision by professionals! All the dentists are great. My dentist is Dr. Rahimi, and there are not even words to describe other than WOOHOO! She is caring, sensitive and gentle!
I actually look forwards to going to my appointments, believe it or not. Sometimes I am an hour
early. They have coffee to enjoy in the meantime (in cases like that.)
Financial arrangements can be made. In reality, you cannot afford to let
your teeth go. If you do, it will be more costly later on. I learned that because I was afraid
of dentists. I am no longer afraid because of Hasting Ranch Dental Group! Thank you Staff

This is a great dentist office! I really like the area and the office is very clean. My wife and i drive 45 min to this dentist office. The whole staff is very polite. They are very good at recommending other services to keep my teeth clean and healthy, but they are not pushy. I really appreciated how the hygienist took time to educate me on different hygiene habits and explain why they are so important. Thank you Dr Rahimi for being so kind, professional and GENTLE.
I highly recommend this place. My wife has seen the oral surgeon and and is now seeing the orthodontist for Braces.

Update: I was reminded of my review when I went to Ralph’s today and saw that darn sign for Hastings Ranch Dental, trying to suck you in for a $ 59 cleaning and X-​ray. Well, last month I went for another checkup/​cleaning with my real dentist-​the one I saw last year who told me I was fine-​and yes, teeth are again fine, no need for new X-​rays since I had a full set taken at his office last year, no scaling recommendations, no periodontal disease, no referrals for extensive and expensive extra treatment. I am once again reminded of the ridiculous, $ 8,000 list of «urgent and necessary dental work» the folks at Hastings recommended for me, essentially telling me my teeth were all about to fall out without their costly interventions. Thank God I went somewhere else for a second opinion. FYI. What jerks.

In a word? Scam.
Told me I had periodontitis and refused to give me a cleaning when I was willing to pay for it.

Trying to save money when I was on a tight budget, I noticed their advertised special of X-​rays + cleaning and made an appointment. When I arrived, I filled out the necessary paperwork and was promptly directed to have my X-​rays taken. I was escorted to an examining room and told the Dr would be in shortly. «Wow!» I thought «fast and inexpensive.» Then she came in, Dr Noor Rahimi and I thought «what a very pleasant surprise.» She told me to open wide, I obliged and that’s when the problems began. Four pokes and three minutes later she said «I’m sorry, sir. You have periodontis.» «What’s that??» «A very serious condition requiring immediate attention.» My head began to reel. I was shocked! «How could this happen? It’s only been a year since my last cleaning» I explained. «There are many causes, sir. It looks like you haven’t taken very good care of your teeth.» That was the red flag. Since my third (and final) cavity in my teens (over two decades ago), I have brushed regularly after meals + morning/​night and flossed a few times a week (nobody’s perfect). «What do I do?» I asked. I wanted to hear more. «I’d recommend treatment» she explained. «We can start today with deep cleaning and scaling. It may require another appointment or two.» «At what cost?» I asked. «Sir, this is serious. You’re looking at numerous treatments starting at least $ 800.» «Serious condition, numerous treatments, history of poor dental hygiene and a bill of several hundred dollars? More red flags» I thought. «Umm…wow. I’m a bit surprised. Can we start with a cleaning and then I can figure out what to do next? I can’t afford that and I don’t have dental insurance» I explained. «I’m sorry, you don’t qualify for a cleaning, sir.» «What do you mean, that’s what I came here for, the new patient special including X-​rays and a cleaning.» «I’m afraid that’s for qualified patients only who don’t have a serious condition. You have periodontis and you don’t qualify.» «Oh brother.» I had heard enough. I thanked the doctor, excused myself, went to the front desk to retrieve my X-​rays. The receptionists were reluctant. «I’m happy to pay for them. I won’t pay for the cleaning I didn’t get.» They refused and I repeated my request. I went on to explain that the X-​rays were mine, that it was my right to take them with me provided I pay for them. They balked. «I’m sorry, sir, we have no way to give them to you.» «No problem» I said handing them my USB drive (I carry one around with me). «Umm…uh…we can’t use that sir.» «You can’t? Why not?» «Our IT department won’t let us. It could have a virus and compromise our network.» «Seriously?» I thought. «No problem. I totally understand. Here’s my email. You can send them to me directly.» Things heated up. A woman from another room came in and threatened to call the police. I’m not kidding. She honestly did. «Umm…go ahead. I’m happy to explain to them what you’re doing here and how you won’t give patients their X-​rays.» I guess calling their bluff did the trick because she relented. «Sir, just to get rid of you, we’ll give you your X-​rays.» «Great!» I said. «I suppose you want me to pay for them still?» The receptionist looked at the woman and the woman said «just give them to him.» She did and I left. Guess where I went? My regular dentist (who did not give discounts). I explained the situation, he fit me in immediately and took a look. After ten minutes of poking and prodding and being what seemed like extra careful, he stopped. «What’s the word, doc?» I asked with bated breath. «Flossing. I’d recommend daily instead a few times a week.» I hadn’t told him my flossing habits. He could tell. He could also tell how often I brushed. «No, I mean periodontis! „I know what you mean“ he chuckled (part of the reason I like him is his sense of humor). You mean I don’t have periodontis?» «Not that I can see» he said. «I knew it! Doc, is there any reason another dentist would say I did?» «Sure» he said. «Wha???» He cut me off, «if he were trying to get you to pay an $ 800 bill.» I filed a complaint with consumer affairs the following week. Nothing ever came from it. They told me «no laws were broken.» I will share, one important piece of information, this happened a few years ago before I moved abroad. I hadn’t thought about it and I figured by now the place would have gone under. Last night, I stopped by the Ralph’s (in the same strip mall) and discovered Hastings Dental was still there advertising that same special. Maybe things have changed (one quick look at their website told me the doctor Rahimi is still there) or maybe they haven’t. Care to find out?

I’ve been to this office probably four times in the last month. My visits started with a routine cleaning. Justo, Dr. Garge, and Malika were the team that saw me the first day. X-​rays were taken and Justo was friendly and checked up on me throughout the whole visit. Dr. Garge was amazing at explaining the work that was going to be done and made recommendations for further treatment based on my history, needs, and wants. Malika wrapped up the visit with completing the cleaning.
Follow up appointments included replacement of a crown and a root canal. A ROOT CANAL! I was in so much pain and instantly became nervous when I was told that a root canal was needed. However their endodontist, Dr. Grigorian and his team put me at ease from the get go. They provided a safe environment where I felt comfortable expressing my concerns. I told them that I tend to get anxious and what nakes me comfortable is knowing what is going on. Dr. Grigorian and his team explained everything to me step by step as they were working and made getting a root canal a PAINLESS and stress free procedure. I’ve already recommended this dental group to friends and coworkers!

I barely ever write reviews but the quality of my experience at Hastings Ranch deserves one. I had to get a root canal, and though I was referred to another specialist for the actual root canal (I had to get the procedure done at short notice), Hastings Ranch were responsible for the crown preparation and the crown installment. All of this was done in ONE day.
1. The crown preparation was handled very professionally by Dr. Tehrani and Carlos Aguilar. They prepared the tooth really well while I was locally anesthized. They then proceeded to make the mould for the crown. The temporary crown was installed and they started to create the permanent ceramic crown immediately.
2. I had my root canal at the other dental office.
3. After my root canal, I returned to Hastings Ranch for the crown installment. Within approximately 2.5 hours, they managed to create a very aesthetically pleasing crown that fit on the original tooth with no gaps. The coloring of the tooth was perfect and almost indistinguishable from my other teeth. I suppose that involves some luck but they did their best. The crown was slightly adjusted for perfect fitting and, after I consented to the look, they cemented it in. The small gap I used to have was no more and I couldn’t be happier. Carlos Aguilar honestly did a superb job with the crown moulding in such a short space of time, it’s amazing.
Everything from the instruments and personnel was top notch at Hastings Ranch. This was my first root canal and everyone at this dental office really eased my worries. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place for root canal treatments.

The worst dentist ever. Do not go there.
I always wait for my appointment close to one hour every time I go there. They have no respect for people’s time. Also they told me after I get there «the hygienist couldn’t make it today». Why they didn’t call me before getting there. I won’t even go if she wouldn’t be there.
Don’t they understand How much effort for me to coordinate my schedule to go to the dentist in middle of week?! Also receptionist Rene is so rude. I leave simple question with her and she said she will call back and she never call back.
Also she tell me how much is a treatment and keep pushing me even though I said no.

Ok, so this review is long overdue. Like, looooooooong overdue bc I’ve been a patient here since they opened back in ’06 or ’07.
Let me start by addressing some of the complaints I’ve seen on here…
1. When you go in bc you bought a Groupon for teeth whitening, it’s necessary to get X-​rays. And, if the X-​rays show something that should be taken care of, they’ll give recommendations, (you can always say, «No, thank you»). It’s called an assessment, not an up-​sell. And, like in the medical field, it’s mandatory before any treatment. It’s a liability thing.
2. The wait times are sometimes long, (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). Get over it. It happens everywhere. Is it annoying? Hell yeah! Does it happen often? No. Especially, when you make your concern known to the doctor. I won’t lie, it happened to me a few times & after expressing my frustration, it stopped. Not only did it stop, but the last time I had to wait, Renee (office manager), went out & bought me a Starbucks gift card. How can you stay mad when you’ve just been gifted 2 overpriced coffees?! Gotta love that girl!
Speaking of the office staff… The girls are GREAT! 2 girls have left, (Teresa & a cute, petite red head), but then came Crystal. I love her, she’s awesome. She will make you feel like a friend instead of a patient. She & Renee also always, ALWAYS consider my budget & do what they can to make it work for me. I can honestly say that I’ve never paid the initial cost given to me. I’m not wealthy by any means & they respect that fact. Norma is cool too & so is Georgina even though she totally spoiled the Orange Is The New Black ending for me. That was annoying, but I forgive her… She’s a sweet girl.
So, for anyone considering this practice, you should give them a chance. If you don’t like them, don’t go back. But, make your own judgement based on your own experience, not these unfair reviews. They’ve been good to me & mine.

I Went in today for my regular cleaning, these ladies are Awesome! Very friendly and the staff are all nice. They take care of you promptly and they try their very best to get you in and out with the fastest and best service they can provide. The staff at HRDG are not just a hi and bye, thanks for coming and see you next appointment kind of staff. These ladies take their time with a patient and they talk to you and make you feel calm and comfortable so you can enjoy your visit. Thank you ladies for making all my visits a pleasant one. Came in for my annual check-​up was in and out faster then expected. Overall excellent service from the team at Hastings Ranch Dental Group. They have helped me stay on track with my dental check ups and cleanings. My past experiences at other practices usually led to me not following through on my appointments mostly due to fear, I feel confident with Dr Rahimi and the team that I no longer worry about that.

Just went in the other day to get fitted for braces!
I’m still very happy with this office. Dr. Hutchinson was awesome! She explained everything, answered all my questions. Very professional and understanding. Crystal was there to explain all the financial aspect, she was very understanding of my budget. I personally have never had any negative experiences.
All in all I’m excited to get my braces next month!

I absolutely loved the dental hygienist Milika she was gentle I my teeth and made sure I didn’t have ‘white knuckle syndrome’ she got the job done!

I’ve been going to this office for several years and I’ve been treated excellent. Dr Rahimi is gentle, competent, kind, and patient. The office is clean and modern.
The office staff is caring and respectful. I found a dentist for life!

My family and I have been coming here for over a year and we love it! Everyone is super friendly and personable. They provide excellent service and are very accommodating with their financing. They are also great with our little kids.

I must be gullible or a slow learner because it took several visits over 3 – 4 years before I realized that these people are crooks! It starts with the x-​rays, which they insist they need every time. Inevitably they find things in the x-​rays that, if untreated, will lead to all sorts of horrible medical trouble. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt because, well, they’re supposedly the experts and I’m a middle-​aged man. You sort of expect things like teeth to start needing more work as you get older. So I agreed to have about $ 1,500 work of work done.
I try to be faithful about my checkups, and the next visit was the same thing, another $ 1,000+ worth of work. By my third visit and third frightful diagnosis of impending doom, I finally started to see what was really happening. I could almost hear the «Ka-​ching!» sound whenever I was escorted into the x-​ray room for updated x-​rays.
But as shameful as that may be, what irked me even more was how they claim to do orthodontistry work. So when my daughter was about 13, we took her there for braces. It turns out, the orthodontist is on their site only about 1 or 2 half days per month, and you have to see that specific orthodontist. You can’t go to another site to see a different orthodontist. This became a minor crisis for us because one of her brackets broke, and she was soon going to leave town for an extended summer vacation. They did not allow her to have the emergency work done at one of their affiliated sites, and in fact we couldn’t get them repaired for 6 or 8 weeks.
With an orthodontist on site only 1 or 2 half days per month, they have no business claiming to be an ortho center.
Lastly, in a silent auction not long ago I bid on and won a free teeth whitening treatment at Hastings Ranch Dental. Don’t laugh; when you’re 50+ you’ll be looking into it too. I took my certificate to the office, half expecting them to have some flimsy excuse for denying it. I was pleasantly surprised to find they would honor it… BUT I WOULD NEED TO HAVE X-​RAYS DONE FIRST!!!
Don’t be fooled by the professional look and feel of this place. These folks are nothing more than larcenists in lab coats. And don’t even get me started on the up-​selling.

My family’s dental insurance provider changed and we were forced to look for another dentist. We found Hastings Ranch Dental.
Noor Rahimi was our salesperson — oh sorry I meant dentist. She is unprofessional and cold. There was no welcome to our practice, hand shaking or even a hello offered to her new patients… However, she can up-​sell like no other and tried numerous times with scare tactics and «visual aids». When we weren’t buying what she was selling (we’ve all had great dental care for our entire lives and we are faithful with our 6 month check ups) she literally stood up and left the room without a word (or a goodbye;).
My wife had sore bleeding gums after her cleaning.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I went to Hastings Ranch Dental Group! Having changed my insurance 8 months ago, I have dreaded going to a new dentist as I did like my last one and felt competent in his work.
It had been a year since my last cleaning, so I figured I’d use my insurance to get my check-​up and cleaning. (I had just paid cash two months ago to my old dentist for a root canal and crown, because I was afraid to go to a new dentist for major work that I knew was needed due to the pain my tooth was causing me. He recommended I get a full check up and x-​rays soon.)
I called Hastings Ranch to make my appointment and they were very nice and accommodating. I got in within the week and at a time that worked for me. They offered to email the new patient paperwork so that I would not have to fill out anything when I arrived. (Bonus!) Well, I read the email on my smart phone while I was busy doing something else, and quickly forgot about any of the paperwork until I pulled into the parking lot for my appointment. (Oops.) When I came in, I was not made to feel badly for not completing the paperwork, they were as nice as could be and they set me up at a computer so I could fill out the questionnaires on line. I thought this was so much easier than trying to print everything clearly while holding a clip board!
As soon as I was finished with the «admissions process», for lack of better description, Carlos came to take me back for x-​rays. Carlos was very thorough and gentle. This was the first time in almost 10 years that I received the full set of x-​rays and a panoramic. It was nice to know that was there and updated. Now, if need be, we can compare to old x-​rays for changes in the bone structure, etc. I liked the idea of their taking actual pictures of your teeth too, so you can see the exterior from all angles. This also helped when the dentist was explaining things.
Carlos was awesome. He happened to ask what I liked to do in my free time, or if I had hobbies … simple chit-​chat questions … and I just started crying. (Recent family issues.) Carlos was so sweet, comforting and supportive. (Thank you)
After the x-​rays, Carlos put them on the screen in the other room so I could look at them all. Dr. Rahimi came in and mentioned she had reviewed my x-​rays and paperwork thoroughly. She asked why I wanted to get a new partial as my current one appeared to fit. I explained my concerns and she understood. They have some new technology which would allow them to make a partial that would fit better, not have any metal, and be softer and flexible. They showed me the sample and, Oh my gosh!!! I am so excited and jazzed to get this new one!!! It is what I have been requesting from my last dentist for five years!
Anyway, Dr. Rahini showed me where two very large, old fillings were cracked and explained seepage under the fillings and how that could continue to worsen over time. What she did not know at the time is that is the same thing that happened to the tooth I had the root canal on two weeks ago. Many might think (and I might have too) that this is a tactic to get you to have unnecessary dental work, but based on my recent experience, it made a lot of sense to me. She told me other than that, everything looked good.
Malika was very sweet and performed my cleaning. (Note to those of you who have needed the deep cleaning … I have had that a few times at my old dentists’ … I recommend the $ 79 Waterpik water flosser pro … well worth the money and no more deep cleanings!)
After my cleaning, Renee, the office manager, came in to review different options for my treatment plan for the two crowns and my partial. Since I am not working right now, finances are an issue for me. I explained that I did not want a payment plan, and since the two crowns aren’t «mandatory», I would rather wait a bit. Renee spoke with Dr. Rahini regarding my wanting to wait. Dr. Rahini came back to explain her reasoning as to why she would recommend the crowns first, but stated she understood my decision and would continue as I wished. She asked me to think about my options and we would do the crowns whenever I was ready, but we got started with the partial.
After paying for the partial; Renee gave me the financial information for the crowns and my choices. Come to find out, Dr. Rahini had spoken with her and they offered a special financing option that truly was/​is a gift. I am now considering doing the crowns next week too, so the partial can both fit and look better, based on the way the upper teeth (read crowns) fit with it. Hummm.
All in all, believe it or not, it was a TERRIFIC experience at the dentist and I am so glad I went.
I just want to say thanks again to the FULL STAFF at Hastings Ranch Dental. They were all fantastic and I am shocked to see the negative reviews based on what I experienced… Polar Opposites. :-)

Avoid this like one like a plague, they sell you all kind of useless service and failed to detect other more serious teeth problem which the other dentist able to discover. I came for my appointment but has to wait another 30 minutes or so, unlike most dentist office I been too, there is actually a manager similar like some Lasik Center. This only mean the cost is high from my experience.
They refuse to honor my groupon deal of teeth cleaning instead was offer me deep cleaning and the super fancy laser cleaning which cost over $ 1000. They would only polish my teeth, problem is the dentist was not in control and is more up to the manger. Who it seem had bad attitude or bad mood that day. They do X-​ray like crazy here, the staff was unskilled and had to retake several time, The machine seem to be outdated and I think I got too much radiation since I do felt some pain afterward.
