Had an amazing time! Definitely worth coming and finding your inner artist! There are classes for: kids, adults, and families. They have a sip-​and-​paint class where you can bring a bottle of wine and paint a masterpiece. They take you step by step through the process, and very patient for those of us that need a little extra time.
Even book them for a private party!

Signing up for adult art classes here was the best decision I have made for myself in a long time. I love this place.

Love love loved this paint event! The instructors were fun, friendly and very helpful. The event was held at Big Mana’s Rib shack and they had an incredible blues musician and great soul food. Will definitely come back to paint again!

I gotta say Eye Heart Art is one of a kind! The instructor Aja is super personable, talented, and great with kids. The new location is super and she has a variety of classes for kids and adults. Definitely check out this studio!

Amazing thing about this painting activity is that you don’t have to have any expertise. Painting is something I have not done since kindergarten. This was an awesome time and our trainers were very polite, helpful, great teaching skills, patient, intellectual, and very supportive! I would go again and will recommend this fun & stress less activity! Paint away. :)

Aja is patient and always trying to teach new techniques. A great studio to get your creative juices flowing.

What a great night! We did the «BYOB Paint N Sip» (essentially paint night) for my sister’s birthday and we had so much fun. I brought an image on my phone and everyone else chose an image from the Eye Heart Art collection. We brought our own wine and I don’t believe we were charged any extra as mentioned in another review. Perhaps because this was located at Big Momma’s Restaurant (??)…Idk, in any event they had the wine glasses ready for us to go as soon as we arrived!
Aja (instructor) was very helpful and fun! She has a fantastic personality and is a great teacher! She’s very patient as well, which is especially great for someone like me who sucks at art.
As others have mentioned the canvas is smaller than I expected, but I’m glad it wasn’t any bigger. They know what they’re doing – it’s the right size to finish a painting in 2 hours without feeling rushed. They also offered frames for $ 2.50 so you can walk out feeling like you really created a masterpiece!
My sister said she will be back with her friends to do this again and I hope I can too!
Also: I found this place on Groupon and I called BEFORE I purchased the Groupon and they honored the Groupon price at the event. Businesses make more money if you buy through them and not through Groupon so call them first! (:

Holy moly was this fun!
We got a group of 22 women together for a fun evening of paint & pour and rented out the studio for the evening. We brought our own mini croissant sandwiches and cheese and crackers (which they let us set up on the table), and plenty of wine and non-​alcoholic beverages. We enjoyed dinner, step by step instruction and tutorials, and had a delightful time. To say we were very well taken care of is an understatement.
Don’t be deterred by your lack of experience, or if you’re devoid of artistic talent like I am. Never in my life did I imagine I’d paint something like this — that’s a real testament to the quality of the painting instruction!

Still love this place…2 years later our Nichelle continues to learn about art & now Our other daughter Danielle is attending. Aja is a great teacher with a awesome location… love your new place.

My mom and I went to this studio a few days ago for the Sip N Paint class and we loved it! We brought wine and chocolates, which definitely helped our creativity. Our teacher, Aja, was very sweet, encouraging, and amazing. She taught us a few basics that made it easier to understand how to approach a painting. So, I have to say that I have no artistic ability at all, and had really just wanted to bring my mom to paint while I drank some wine, but we both ended up creating beautiful little paintings! We had so much fun and were very pleased with our paintings. Thanks, Aja! They are moving to a bigger studio closer to Downtown Pasadena next week… Check them out! Highly recommend this studio!

I had SUCH a great time painting here! A friend invited me to come along (so I do not know the back side details of cost– Groupon has a great deal, I’ve heard!) Aja and Pat were phenomenal! SO supportive, encouraging, and able to help each person with their individual painting. I have been to a few other ‘art bar’ style classes, and this one certainly was up there as one of the best experiences! Either bring your own picture, or choose from their selection. Side note: don’t choose anything too challenging! And don’t be surprised if Aja jumps in to help make your painting look better ;-) Overall, great experience! Bring wine, snacks, and get ready for a really fun time!

This place was so much fun. Came here tonight for our anniversary and it was so worth it! Came in with an open mind and loved it! Aja is SO sweet I just had to write a review. I’m inspired to buy some tools and paint!!!
Def good for friends, a date, or even by yourself for some relaxing time. Easy parking is a plus! Coming back!!!

Eye Heart Art studio is amazing! Miss Aja has a gorgeous way with children. She is able to convey techniques and lessons in a way kids grasp and love to learn!
I am so happy we were introduced to this magical place!

My girlfriend got a LivingSocial deal for this place and asked me last minute to join her paint night so I gave it a try. Not sure how much it was nor how much if you come without a deal.
I was completely new to this so to break it down:
— You can bring your own wine, but they’ll charge you $ 5/​person
— This place is kinda small and hidden so you def would miss it if you don’t look up directions ahead of time
— With this place, you can bring in your own picture to paint or pick one at their place
— The canvas size is 8×11, smaller than other paint night. Bring your own if you want bigger canvas?
— Come 5 mins early to sign in with the lovely lady in front, that I did not get the name down since my friend did it for me
— You’ll start off with pencil in your picture, then paint the base and after that finish it off with the actual color of your picture
For me, I personally did not enjoy it much cause one, I don’t drink. Two, I’m not good at painting. I’m not sure if this place is good for beginners. You might wanna start off at other paint night where they all paint the same picture. Though I did like how we can pick out our own.
We had two instructors but one of them could be the main one? They were split up to help certain one of us and I LOVEEE their attitude! As in helpful, I thought they did okay. I think they just didn’t have time to specifically help each and everyone of us. And that’s why I find it more helpful when everyone just paint the same picture. Thank you for helping me though!
It was supposed to be 2 hours event but it took us almost 3 hours. I think mixing the color did take up a lot of time as well! By then, my back was aching. If that’s the artist chair, one with no back support, then I admire artists even more after this!

Purchased a living social for a day camp for my kids The location a little secluded but cute in a mission style shopping center.
The artist very sweet, friendly and great with kids. My boys had a great time learning to sketch self portraits and came home with a bit more knowledge and more confidence in their sketching skills and happy with their grocery bags they made during craft time.
I purchased a deal for myself for the BYOB wine and paint classes at night and am very much looking forward to it!

I came here last night with a group of girl friends and we had an amazing time! Aja and her assistant (sorry I cannot remember the second woman’s name) were so incredibly helpful, fun and patient. They have everything set up for you when you arrive and they pop open your bottle of wine (BYOB) and pour you a glass to get you mellowed out to start painting. You can bring an object or item to paint yourself, they also have pictures and books you can select from as well. They give you guidance from start to finish and keep you on time. Um, painting is hard! There were students there who had come back several times to work on one painting. Our group had a blast. Highly recommended!

A friend brought me for my birthday. I have not taken an art class since elementary school and have close to zero painting skills. Aja was so nice and helpful and attentive. I can hardly believe it was me who painted the piece I brought home. The atmosphere is very pleasant and Aja is so sweet and takes great pride in her students and her business. I would definitely come back to this studio again, it was a really fun night out.

Great teacher, relaxing atmosphere, awesome night! I took my good friend here for a little birthday celebration, a rare night away from kids and husbands. I bought the sip ‘n paint living social voucher and would gladly go back and pay full price. Aja was so welcoming and guided us through our chosen paintings with expertise. Both my friend and I have little to no artistic talent but walked away with a really good painting! And it took us 3.5 hours even though the voucher was only for a 2 hour lesson, but Aja invited us to stay as long as needed without complaint. We had a fantastic evening and would HIGHLY recommend this studio to everybody!

This was such a fun time for me to connect with my inner artist and relax! Aja, is a fantastic instructor, very patient and attentive. We were given a choice of which media we wanted to use and she provides everything you need included in the fee!
The really nice thing is that in one class you can finish a project to take home.

I have a new reason to crave for Friday nights! Friday night adult art class! I get to unwind from the stressful week with painting and a glass of wine! Aja is an amazing teacher. She gives you the tools and techniques to create your own work of art. Aja gives you the space to express yourself and is there at the ready if you need help. Even if you don’t consider yourself artsy, its a great fun way to relax and make new friends.
It also makes for a great date night!
