So happy I found Dr. Nielson! Beautiful and tranquil office with cool views. Linda the dental hygienist is so sweet and gave me the best teeth cleaning experience I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back this month to take care of all my pearly whites!

What an amazing experience and this is our new Dentist. The office is beautiful, they are so friendly and they were able to squeeze me in the same day I called. Dr. Nelson and Linda take going to the Dentist to the next level and there is a reason they have 5 stars! Lots of parking too:)

Making an appointment is easy. Beautiful, clean and inviting office in Pasadena near Huntington Hospital. There is parking available in the back also. Excellent service so far! =)

Far surpasses my expectations of a routine dentist visit. Once you get moment to take in how beautiful the office is itself, you are greeted by the very friendly Linda who will treat you with the utmost importance. Linda is very organized and a joy to have sitting with you in the waiting room.
Dr. Dustin Nelson is knowledgeable of any and all treatments available for a variety of different cases. He takes his time to answer all of your questions thoroughly and is pleasant to be around.
My dental hygienist search is now complete, and I couldn’t feel more at home!

Dr. Nelson and his assistant, Linda are absolutely the best. I feel their professionalism, attentiveness, and down right kindness are A+. You know that going to the dentist for some serious work is never a walk in the park. But, under Dr. Nelson’s skillful care, you will be in great hands. Dr. Nelson explains everything in detail, does not rush, and is a perfectionist. Linda is a doll. You can’t go wrong!

What a great experience. Dr. Nelson took the time to explain everything I needed for teeth. He actually showed me how my teeth were getting damaged in my sleep and how he can fix them.
All the other dentist I’ve seen never mentioned these things to me, in turn I would have to keep going back for 1 problem or another.
Now, ty. Dr. Nelson. I will finally be able to address these issues once and for all.

I have been to many dentists in my 47 years and cannot recommend Dustin highly enough. I came into his office with a lot of questions and he took the time to sit with me and clearly explain everything we wanted to do. Expectations were exceeded and I couldn’t be happier.
Linda is great too! She helped every step of the way and was available to me through phone and text.
I’ll be staying with Dr. Nelson for quite a while. It’s a comfort to know I’m in good hands with their team.

This review is based on one initial visit involving a cleaning and exam.
My teeth were wearing plaque sweaters. Two years (three?) after my last dental expedition, it was time to have some scrapin’ did. Dr. Nelson’s office is both close to my house and on my work route, and the good reviews on Unilocal prompted me to dial for an appointment. Linda, who one week hence would unearth my smooth chompers from eons of sediment, was friendly and quickly set me up with an ideal appointment time. When I arrived for my appointment it was smooth sailing. Nice large parking lot behind the building. Fresh asphalt, nice landscaping, a general vibe of details being sweated. One quick intake form and I was back in the exam chair. But before I get to that, a word on décor. This is a more design-​conscious dental office than any I’ve seen. There is a fountain in the lobby. It’s airy and spacious. The wallpaper in the restroom is fabulously baroque. It beats the hell out of Suite 120 in the Drabsville Medical Park in Drabstown, which describes all of my other medical office experiences. Although not to my admittedly particular taste, I applaud the thought and effort that went into creating Dr. Nelson’s office space.
Back in the exam chair, I was handled professionally and gently. Doctor Nelson came in for a chat before the cleaning began. Beyond the usual x-​ray eval, inspections, and questions, a couple things stood out about our interaction. Upon encountering the mid-​90s vintage permanent retainer behind my bottom fronts, he provided a detailed explanation of why my teeth would be fine (not move around) if I decided to remove it. This was a revelation, as I thought I had to be stuck with this stupid tongue cutter/​plaque catcher forever. The second thing was a careful evaluation of my jaw and head muscles as I slowly clenched my teeth. No other dentist has done this, and afterwards I wondered why not. Makes sense.
Linda gave me an excellent cleaning. She put in serious work, did it quickly, and I’m almost shocked to report that my gums aren’t sore at all. They usually hurt after a cleaning. So, all-​in-​all, a good enough experience to both schedule a follow-​up and give a five-​star review. I do have one slight reservation, and that is the prominent role that Unilocal played in my interaction with the office from start to finish. Now, seeing as how I found the office on Unilocal,maybe it’s on me. But it was just a little more central to the proceedings than I’d like. It’s a good thing that they so far have a level of service that warrants the desired five-​star rating.

I’m not very fond of going to the dentist, and didn’t care much for the last office I was at, but I finally dragged myself in to see a new Dentist, Dr. Nelson, after avoiding it for 2 years.
*Parking was easy
*The office felt like a spa
*There were relaxing videos of Hawaii to watch while in the chair
*I didn’t have to wait
*Both the Dentist and Hygienist were thoughtful, gentle and knowledgable.
Oh and there is a Starbucks next door, lol. What more could I want? I’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous office to start off! Excellent customer service with great follow through. I went in for a consultation for TMJ symptoms. Dr. Nelson took his time examining my bite and suggesting possible treatment options that I had not even considered. A simple bite adjustment could cure a problem that I have been battling for years. I am excited to continue to treatment with this practice.

–Moved quickly so that I was able to get on my way to work.

I needed a new dentist having recently moved to the area. I found Dr. Nelson’s name here on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I called and was able to make an appointment for a cleaning within a couple of weeks.
I arrived about 10 minutes early and was glad they had their own lot for free behind the building off of Fair Oaks.
When you walk into the reception area, its the most beautiful, peaceful dentist office I have ever been to. Huge Fountain, peaceful music, etc.
I was greeted by Linda within 5 minutes to fill out my paperwork. She told me with a Unilocal Check-​in you get a free examination & Digital X-​rays. Awesome. Because my insurance isn’t in network, they do make you pay for your visit and then file your insurance forms for you.
Linda quickly led me to the examination for cleaning. There was a tv screen with peaceful images of beach/​coastal lines in California & Hawaii.
After cleaning, I met Dr. Nelson. He’s nice & very knowledgable.
Thrilled to find a new dentist nearby.

Made me feel very comfortable, friendly staff! Beautiful office! I need a lot of work, but i am going to start with invisalign and once that is done than I will start my transformation! Dr. Nelson is very detail with the exam and Linda is great at explaining everything to me.

Most beautiful office I have been to. Smells delightful inside, leaves you with a comforting feeling. Staff is very professional and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Over the years he has done an excellent job of taking care of my dental health. He is gentle in his approach to dental work which is greatly appreciated. His dental hygienist Linda does a great job keeping my teeth shiny and gums in good shape. The office on fair oaks is spa like and tranquil.
