I always enjoy getting my hair done here. I can relax and also enjoy chatting with the staff.
Talin gives the best most perfect hair cut i have ever received! AND she’s a color genius. She definitely knows what she’s doing — i trust her completely!
Also — the shampoo chairs are the most comfortable i’ve ever experienced. They’re pretty flat so you get to lay down and that feels so good… and the lip to the sink is comfortable as well, it never hurts or bothers my neck and doesn’t give me a headache. I can’t rave enough about how comfortable it is getting your hair washed! Just magic!

Visiting from Oregon I stopped in with my daughters to get 1 ombré, 1 duo color (green & red) and a cut, grey coverage with balayage highlights. It was a same day appointment before Thanksgiving so it was nice they could get us all in. The entire process went from noon to 7:45pm. The cost before tip $ 285 (ombré), $ 335 (duo color process) & $ 285 (all 3 prices after a $ 5 each Unilocal disc). I don’t mind spending all day at the salon or paying a lot of a great cut & color.
My complaint is at the very end.
Due to us being the last clients we were asked to pay in advance so they could close the register. Again had no problem with this. I originally thought both my daughters would get their hair curled but since it was so late & we were all hungry, I decided only 1 daughter would get her hair curled. I asked if we could receive a charge back for the curling (not much I think $ 25). I was told ‘we weren’t charged for a blow dry so let’s swap it out’. What? You spend over $ 900 & a blow dry is not included?
This is were I have the problem. The cut, colors & styles were ok (about the same as a local salon). The service before the end was pleasant. But not enough to pay over $ 900 & told blow drying is extra! Yes I’m from Oregon but I’ve had my hair done in some pretty upscale salons. I’ve paid $ 300+ for my cut & colors but never charged extra for blow drying.
I won’t be returning.

The funny thing is Talin has done my hair in the past and the finished product was amazing. So why you ask did I not just go to her for all my hair needs?!! There really is no good answer. Other then I’m impatient… As I’ve stated.
But Talin is amazing. My hair looks and feels delicious. Talin is very informative and really has your best interest at heart. Not only is she an expert at what she does, but she has a gentle touch. Every other salon I’ve been to yanks and pulls on my hair (thick hair struggles) Talin is a professional through and through

I had really nice light natural hair, and I always wanted light ombré on my natural hair. However, I went to many different places and they messed up my natural hair color, resulting my hair to lose its volume, natural color, and damaging the ends.
From those horrible experiences, I wasn’t quite sure if I could trust another hairstylist to do my hair, but I gave this place a try.
Talin, the hairstylist took her time on each and every step for lighting up my hair to give it a natural look. After ⁴⁄₅ hours of hard work, she gave me the look I always wanted.
The process was, bleaching, washing it, cutting the damaged ends, putting a mask, washing it again, putting a toner, another kind of mask, and finally cutting it once again and blowdrying it.
The process took 4 – 5 hours, but the result was breathtaking.
I would recommend this salon to those that have damaged hair, as well as those who are trying to have natural highlights or ombré looking hair.

I just had my first haircut here. My hair was quite grown out from the last cut, and feeling ratty and dry. Thanks to the other reviewers and her great personality and sensibility, I trusted Talin’s hands right off the bat. I brought a few reference images along, and after she acquainted herself with my hair, she was off and running. She gave me a great layered cut that only needs a little sea salt spray to quickly style – a must for this mom with only minutes to spend on herself each morning. My hair feels healthy and looks great again, thanks to Talin!

I LOVED this hair salon. When I first walked into this cute little boutique, I saw walls lined with photographs of Audrey Hepburn, and I was greeted by the woman at the cash register and kindly asked to wait in the seating area. I walked over to my right where I saw cute vintage-​y cushions resting next to complimentary cookies, coffee, tea and water. I was then called by Talin, who then seated me and asked if I would like any water, coffee or tea. Kind and courteous hospitality was already very evident and I can see they strive to live up to their motto of «First Impressions Count.» Seriously. They do.
Of course, while all of this is great, it would not suffice in the wake of a badly done hair style.
I am thankful to say this was not the case. I got a beautiful balayage haircolor and some trim. Hats off to the stylist because I simply LOVE IT. It’s been about 4 or 5 weeks and I’m still getting dozens and dozens of compliments.
Will def return again!

A friend told me to come here and I do not regret it! I’m very very picky and protective with my hair! (been going it out for 5 years! its at my butt) so I looked at the hair stylist I was referred, IG page and was impressed! She also had knowledge of the type of style I was into as well so that was a major plus! (you try going to any o salon and ask for Bettie bangs) so I booked a appt! The salon was pretty and clean, and Natalie was so sweet! we talked a lot and got along really good so time passed by fast. She made sure I was satisfied with the v shape I requested and my bangs never looked better! For $ 50 it was worth the wait! Thank you!

Absolutely love my hair! Talin did an amazing job. She not only did she transform my hair, but she was great company in the mean time! I’ve been going to Talin for 16 months and feel very satisfied with my haircuts. While it seems like a lot of the other reviewers have more complicated hair needs (coloring, extensions, specific styles), I always just want a trim and something easy to go with my «new mom» lifestyle [eg rarely have/​make the time to blow dry my hair at home anymore]. So if you’re wondering: she’s good at the basic, too!
This sounds like a small detail, but I also really appreciate the tea/​coffee and cookies she has, too. When I’m paying for a haircut plus paying for a babysitter, it’s nice to be able to take some quiet time with a cookie and tea, too!

Where do I begin…
Prior to Talin, I had some great hair stylists who did a great job, however, I felt as though my hair was the same color over and over. I would get some highlights with foils, then low lights with foils, then highlights again, then low lights (you get the picture). Although my hair looked wonderful, it appeared to be the same look over and over again.
Then I went to see Talin at her beautiful boutique salon in Pasadena…
Talin is a true artist. I cannot stress this enough. She is so beautiful (inside and out), kind, and a true professional. From the moment you sit in talin’s chair, you have her 1:1 attention throughout the duration of your service. Initially, she examines your hair, the condition of it, and gives her honest and professional opinion about what is possible and what is not possible. Some hair dressers just do what you want them to do without considering the condition of your hair after the treatment. Talin will not do this. She cares about the health of your hair before and after her service. Your amazing hair (when you leave her salon) is a reflection of her artistry, and she takes that very seriously.
Talin does magical things with hair. Her ombres are seriously the best and she is current with all hair trends (cuts, coloring techniques, etc.). The way she works color is amazing. She does not just use metallic foils for a couple of hours and then you leave. She uses multiple colors with cloth, lightens your base (if need be), colors the shaft of your hair to match the highlights and base, and then even lightens the end of your highlights even further! I am probably not making sense because she does so much in just 1 service and I am not familiar with the lingo! I love the way she analyzes every strand of hair when she colors to make sure it’s perfect! It is so cute! Her cuts are amazing as well. Currently, I only get trims, but come fall, I want her to chop it all off! She does an amazing bob (I want the asymmetrical one).
I can go on and on about Talin. I love her and I am her biggest fan. Go check her out and you will see why she is loved by everyone she encounters. She is amazing!

Talin is literally THE BEST hairstylist ever. I see her regularly each month for months now and have always been happy. I am a natural red head but with Talin’s expertise, am a perfect blond.
She has done various short pixie hairstyles on me and I am constantly getting compliments from others on my hair color and cut. And compliments in the very critical LA world I live in, are hard to come by!
I’ve had short asymmetrical extensions with her as well. And they were perfect for a change of style (since I bore easily with the same hair, no matter how beautiful).
So far, there’s been nothing she can’t do. And in addition to keeping my hair looking awesome, she always makes sure it’s healthy and conditioned. She loves hair, and it shows. I’m SO glad to be with a stylist that’s so creative, adventurous with her style, and listens to what I (the client) wants.

Talin was wonderful! She was able to fit me in for a last minute appointment, and then she was super patient with all of my questions and looking at all the pictures I brought in. She really made me feel like she was listening and understood exactly what I wanted — I wanted to get bangs and was a little undecided on how to go and she gave me some great advice and did it in several steps so I could see various lengths.
And most importantly — I love my haircut! Talin is super nice and did a great job, and I’m really picky with my curly hair. Definitely go to her!

Natalie did my hair and I was impressed, I let her work her magic and I left super content with my new do, I would deff come back!
Con: A little pricier then what I’m used to!

I am almost hesitant to post how great Talin is because I want her all to myself! She does such a wonderful job and really knows and loves what she does. I hate cutting my hair and yet she manages to get rid of the split ends without compromising on length. My hair feels silky and looks amazing. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and you are worth it. Give her a go, you won’t regret it.
