Great food for a reasonable price. You don’t have to work at Caltech to eat here. Good to meet people too.

Great selection of foods with something for everyone. There is sushi, pizza, sandwiches, a daily special, grill items, Mongolian stir fry, salad bar, home type foods, and Mexican foods. The desserts are amazing, especially the chocolate cakes and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. Compared to other campus dining halls, this one is great!

I don’t get why the food here is so salty! Specially the Latin Bar! The Mongolian BBQ: they handed me someone else’s dish, their mongolian bbq looks like a mess. I paid prime money for each single dish here and was disgusted with the amount of salt in their food. Good food doesn’t have to be salty to taste good. They can let those gorgeous ingredients shine on their own(minimum salt required). Disappointed for such an expensive food. After several times, I finally learned the best value meal at this café is a cold Deli Chicken Sandwich with cesar salad(no croutons!).

Central bar-good. My favorite bar at chandler. A variety of choices, sometimes really good. Although there is at least one day every week when there’s nothing good to choose from but Mexican food. Sushi bar-below average. The fish is not of good quality. The bento every Friday is better. Mongolian barbecue bar-average. The noodles are bad American ramen noodles. The rice is good. Can choose vegie, seafood or a variety of meat. Pizza bar-average. Build your own pizza or choose from the menu. Freshly made. Themed bar-pasta Monday; phở Tuesday; curry Wednesday; slider Thursday; salad Friday. Sandwich bar-below average. Burger bar-haven’t tried but burger is not my favorite anyway. Soup-salty miso soup every day. Rarely seen lobster bisque is really good.

The food is good, but also pricey. Chandler is frequented by students but also open to the general public.

One of the better places to eat on campus! For lunch it has custom personal pizza area, wok station, grill, sushi and other items that are either ready-to-go or made to order. There is also a take-out option with disposable boxes and cutlery. My favorite is the personal pizza station, which has unique options such as carmelized apple and gorgonzola or pesto shrimp pizza.
