Professional Tree care and Landscaping. Fully licensed and insured for your protection!

Our primary goal is to offer affordable, quality tree care for our clients in the Pasadena and surrounding areas. Along with fine, artistic pruning, we also offer Arborist Consulting, tree installations, tree removals and stump grinding.

We strive to re-​use as much of the wood products generated from jobs by spreading wood chips and splitting firewood. This is both eco-​friendly and does not fill our landfills with unnecessary waste.

We do pond and waterfall installations, lawn and irrigation installations and maintenance (both residential & commercial), demolition and hauling, and hardscape construction.

Estimates are always FREE and we will MEET or BEAT any qualified contractors bid, guaranteed.

History

Established in 1994.

Our company has been serving the greater Pasadena area since 1994 as Crown Oaks Arborists (C.O.A.) and incorporated in 2008 as C. O. Arborists, Inc. We will continue our upward growth and strive to provide quality, affordable Tree Care to our clients.

Meet the Manager

Daryl M.

Manager

Daryl was one of the first 1,000 Arborists to ever be Certified by the I.S.A. (International Society of Arboriculture). He earned his certificate in 1992 by the Western Chapter of the I.S.A. (# 0991).

Daryl not only has book knowledge of trees and diagnosis, he is a working Arborist. He can analyze tree issues and make recommendations based on over 25 years of experience in the field. His recommendations have consistently helped and successfully maintained the health and vigor of our client’s trees.

Daryl works closely with our crews to ensure the quality, artistic pruning that our company stands for. His philosophy is to never «Top» a tree, rather «Reduce the Crown» in a manner that is healthy for tree and maintains the safety of a tree.

Daryl has worked as a Consultant on several large court cases as an expert witness. He continues Consult locally and would be happy to hear from you!

I have had Crown Oaks trim my oaks and other trees since 2001. They have always done a superb job. Daryl the owner is pleasant and easy to work with, his prices are very reasonable, his crews are extremely competent and in addition very polite and neat. The crews often go above and beyond what they have to. Add to this that they come when they say they will and do a fantastic clean up job as well. I personally would not ever consider letting any other arborist touch my trees. They are truly beautiful.

It’s very hard to find a tree service that’s professional, skilled, safety conscious and courteous. There are so many guys with Chainsaws who will tell you they can trim your trees that when you find someone who knows what they’re doing, it’s a real gift. Daryl and his crew have done great work for us on three separate jobs. They’re really easy to deal with, show up when they say they’ll show up… and do incredibly good work. They’re pricing is incredibly fair as well. I have had other «Arborists» charge me a lot more and do a lot less. We’ve been really happy with C.O. and the work they’ve done.
