Angels Way Sober Living

This place helped to save my life! I’m 11 months sober and it’s in huge part to Angels Way. I’ve been there for almost a year now. Foy & Susan (the owners) have been there with me every step of the way. The fellowship at the house is amazing. Really great people who are very serious about their recovery and changing their lives. I would highly recommend Angels Way to anyone who is struggling and looking for a safe environment to grow and turn their life around.

Our son went here for only a few weeks. The owner was very disrespectful to our son! He yelled all the time and never took the time to help our son! I called him to discuss the manor in which he spoke to the residents, he yelled and cursed at me so loud over the phone that my girlfriend could hear! What is wrong with someone who claims they want to help people in sober living! It was a horrible experience for our whole family!!!
The owner was not willing to to take any responsibly for his actions … Then he blocked me !!
If you take such drastic measures there must be something to hide or at the very least not want to face it!

They make up lies about the residents in order to kick out the people who do not conform to their view of things. If you do not follow Foy and Susan’s view of sobriety and the world, be prepared to be slandered and accused of all manner of lies. You will be kicked out, your dirty laundry will be aired in the meetings, and there is no HIPPA privacy or any kind of confidentiality. You will be slandered and kicked out. You will be brought up at every meeting for weeks to come. And wonder why the owners were both hospitalized or treated for dehydration? RELAPSE!!! And they couldn’t even keep their own son in the program. He ran off to another state because the program is oppressive and useless.

What is all the negative comments. Don’t leave bad reviews because your in a bad place. You know they do a great job. Maybe to good of a job. If your not ready to get right and do right Angel’s way is not your place.

It’s really sad that Unilocal keeps deleting reviews because they are all the same. The owners are beyond rude and are recovering addicts and should never run a facility. Beyond their addictions they have major anger issues. BEWARE… They deleted so many bad post but they all said the exact same thing. What’s worse is she threatened me because of my post. No honest business owner would do that!

Looks like my previous review was deleted. All I have to say is that all the previous reviews with one star are completely accurate. Susan and Foy are completely crazy. I always felt like I was walking on eggshells, it was actually scary. All they care about is the cleanliness of the apartments. There were bedbugs, Susan passed out unprescribed meds, I could go on and on. It was a horrible experience and I would never recommend this sober living to anyone!

OMG! I just moved out of Angels Way and am in the process of filing complaints with several agencies. I lived in Angels Way for 6 months. The name attracted me. I really think this sober living should have been named «Devils Way» men and women in hell.
It was a really bad separation. I got kicked out because I informed the owners, Foy and Susan that I was moving in a few days. They started treating me real bad afterward. I guess they were mad because they had another empty bed, no rent coming in. Susan, the owner, stold several of my belongings. Dont pay attention to their add. Talk to a resident there and they will truly tell you that this place is hell to live at.
The rent is expensive. They have all donated filthy, furniture. Rug is filthy. Plumbing is old and always backs up. They wait days without calling a plumber. Leaving you in that sewage. We had rats in our aparment for 1 month and the owners did not even try to fumagate. We stayed up at night trying to catch them by trapping them with pots and pans. Foy the owner has showed up drunk on 2 occasions that I know of and has major anger issues. Ask the tenants. He explodes and cusses at everyone, including the girs. He makes the girls cry. Susan need mental health care. She gossips, lies, and treats the girls like shit. The owners are in the busniness for money only. The relapse percentage is so high at this sober living home. Please go else where. This place is a living hell. For the girls, if you are young and attractive, don’t go here. Susan, the owner will target you. For parents, if you truly are trying to find a sober living home that is going to work for your child, please do not go here. They will be verbally abused and probably will relapse due to the high stress levels. By the way, this establishment does not offer any kind of treatment. (no AA meetings or 12 steps program. The only meeting they have is a Saturday morning meeting in which the owners tell you how terrible you did your chores. Regarding their success stories on their website. I knew 5 of these people that left and they were all kicked out for stupid reasons. They were all sober too.

DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU KNOW GO HERE!!! This sober living «home» is terrible. Foy, the owner, has MAJOR anger management issues! I will be uploading a video to Youtube which shows him yelling and swearing (F-​This and F-​you is common with this deamon) at a resident and telling him to pack his things and get out. These are terrible people that run this place, both Susan and Foy. They care more about keeping their business clean than their residents. Foy ended the relationship I had worked so hard to make work with my mother. .. It is the one thing on this planet I will never forgive a soul for. Angel’s Way Sober Living is not the way to go. By the way, I am still sober and with no thanks to Angel’s Way Sober Living (I’m repeating for search engine spiders). There are Bed Bugs in all the apartments which is just disgusting.. . you’ll get bit all night and those things carry disease.. . My own Rehabilitation Center told me to go anywhere but Angel’s Way Sober Living.. . should have listened.
