Specialties

We offer Chinese language learning classes to kids from age 18mos-​10yrs. Learn through games, have fun learning. We have over 500 Chinese books for our member to borrow home or read at our school. Our classroom is kids friendly and safe. Our teacher and stuff are very nice and knowledgeable.

The key to learning a new language is to practice and use it every day. One or two classes a week are a great introduction, but fluency requires daily usage. We provide take-​home worksheets for students to practice outside of classroom, and we encourage students to borrow books from our library. We also provide printable arts and crafts projects, downloadable reading materials and posters on our website to involve the whole family in the learning process.

My 2 year old and me enjoy the mommy and me class very much.1 hr class. I’ve been going there for 1 month. They incorporate play and arts/​craft with learning chinese words. Bright and clean.

My daughter has been coming here now for a few months she attends an hour-​long class and continues to strive in her Chinese skills. She has been to daycare’s and other types of preschool that she just does not enjoy the energy but this particular learning center is different. Every time she comes home she’s excited and she’s happy to go. I finally got the pleasure of meeting the couple who started this innovative little center over the Chinese new year party that they just held last weekend. Super friendly and I actually got to meet Andy who is about the same age as my daughter and a cute sweet young boy. I’m excited what will come of this business and I know that they do a great job.

Learn Chinese through play! I highly recommend Andy’s Attic. My family attended their Chinese New Year Carnival and witnessed their engaging teachers delight children again and again. One dressed as a tiger and sang 两只老虎 at least 50 times. Another directed kids in a game of Chinese Character Twister. Others painted faces or helped children craft traditional Chinese Dragons. The people here are just FUN. The space is also very modern and open, a soothing place. Makes me wish I was 5 years old again so I could take classes here!
All in all, you can tell through many details that the owners and the staff really care about the kids learning Chinese while having fun.

Both our kids love this place. Michelle plans her lessons very well and does an excellent job at engaging the kids. My daughter is more of an introvert and very soft-​spoken but the teacher did an amazing job at gently helping her come out of her shell. I can’t say enough good things about this class!

One if the best places to start your kid off on their Mandarin learning journey — they’re especially good when it comes to pre schoolers and elementary school kids. My kid hated the traditional Chinese teacher but now she loves her Chinese class and is ado learning at a more rapid pace.

I really like how this place isn’t the traditional paper and pencil Chinese school that i grew up in! They make learning very fun for young tots. It is a home converted into a class. The teachers are very patient as one or two kids misbehave. I sat through a whole class before deciding to enroll and my kids love it! Tons of fun activities like singing, arts and crafts, bubbles, etc. Parking takes place behind the lot at Ross. Walk across and u will find this location. Much pricier than traditional Chinese school but worth it if my kids enjoy the class.

Visited quite a few mandarin schools and learning centers in the area and this one has one of the best facilities. The teachers are great with children and they have a really good program. I’m looking forward to their summer program!

Excellent Chinese school. Very fun and educational– both of my kids love going to Andy’s Attic!
During class they sing songs, read books, do a little bit of crafts sometimes, and there are even shelves containing hundreds of books that you are allowed to borrow from.
My 2.5 year old understands Chinese but prefers to speak English and attending classes here has encouraged him to feel comfortable speaking in Mandarin. Teachers are very friendly and the location is convenient. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful place to learn mandarin. They have a very nice caring loving team of staffs. It feels just like home. Kids learn, play and have fun. And it’s such a friendly environment. Teachers are caring and speak good proper mandarin, also energetic.

We’ve been sending our 2 ½ year old here since around the time the Pasadena location first opened. Our Daughter loves going to her «Chinese School», and always comes home singing the songs. We can already tell she is now much more confident in speaking Mandarin to her mom. Can’t wait for our son to be old enough to attend.

Excellent class and top notch facilities. My 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed the class and actually seemed to learn some new words and concepts. The teacher was engaging and animated and kept his attention for the entire 60 minute duration. We’ve visited a number of Chinese schools in the area and this is head-​and-​shoulders above the rest.
