History

Established in 2007.

Dr. Hung received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Yale University, and completed his medical education at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University with honors in research. He completed his urology residency at the University of Southern California, and stayed at USC for a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy and robotics under Inderbir Gill, a world-​leader in minimally invasive urological surgery.

A close family friend was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hung for the evaluation and treatment of his prostate condition. In my mind, a great doctor would have not only the clinical expertise, but would also have great resources and an ancillary staff that could work towards the patient’s convenience. Dr. Hung was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I was highly impressed by his expertise in his field. He not only educated in a thorough and clear manner, he has the rare quality of a calm demeanor and instantly instills confidence in any situation, no matter how dire. He is both a wonderful person and an astute physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Hung in the care of yourself or your loved one.

Dr. Hung is an example of what urologists should strive to be. Not only has he trained at the prestigious USC program for residency, he’s done an advanced robotic surgery fellowship as well. He is surgically gifted, and best of all he is a patient advocate. He will make you feel comfortable and at ease when discussing complex issues. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a urologist.

Dr Hung treated a family friend for advanced kidney cancer. From the first visit through surgery and postop, he was super thorough and compassionate. Not only was he super calm and reassuring in a very scary time for my friend., he is an amazing surgeon and obviously cares about all the little details. I would recommend him to anyone.

WOW– where do I begin!!! Dr Andrew Hung and his staff are all amazing! Dr Hung is very professional and good at what he does! He explained all procedures and what to expect after my dads robotic prostateectomy. He is passionate about medicine and urology and it definitely shows! Coming from a medical background myself, Dr Hung put me at ease and explained all procedures and outcomes in lay-​mans terms for my parents. Dr Hung has the brains and bedside manner– a win-​win situation! I would 100% recommend Dr Hung as a urologist!
