Yesterday was my third time coming to this location. And once the hostess approached us she said we can’t sit in the front tables only in the bar area even though we had four people. Then the server kept rushing us to order right when we sat down while we were waiting for fourth party. As soon as our fourth person came no one came to attend to us. They were lagging on refills and food was just warm. Price was ok but I wasn’t impressed with the quality will never return.

I have to say I was expecting more from their atomic wings, specially since they made me sign a waver. I was little dissapointed. I have to say their classic burger was delicious though.

Expensive, limited vegetarian options, slow service even when the place feels empty, staff is not empowered to make decisions or fix mistakes, food is consistently cold when served. Very disappointed in this location after having some great meals at the Long Beach location. (Note: this review is based on multiple visits)

First of all the manager Liz is very rude and unprofessional not only to customers, also to the servers. When asked to fix a problem she doesn’t fix the problem, she makes you wait longer and she ignores your table. She has a horrible attitude. And this is not the first experience with LIZ! I am so disappointed with this location.

First time trying Alondra’s disappointed me because of their service and management. The food itself was amazing and I would give 4 stars purely on the quality, but I think this place needs a visit from management.
It’s a Friday night and you have multiple parties waiting for a table, yet they can’t sit because no one has come around to clear the table. We waited about 25 minutes and 4 out of 5 empty tables remained unchanged the entire time.
I’ll happily come back if they work on their service.

FOOD WAS AMAZING ! FIRST TIME GOING WOTH MY LITTLE SISTER. She’s a wing lover so wings were a must for her and she really enjoyed them. Coming again for The Don and wings & attendant George was very very friendly and helpful. Great place to be & enjoy good food!

The service is terrible! A lot of people are waiting. There are 4 tables where guests had left. And there is no staff cleaning up those tables. Instead they offer people to sit outdoor in 50 °F. The inefficiency is astounding…

I love coming to this location because it doesn’t get packed like the one in Alhambra. sadly we got there at 930 & didn’t realize they close at 10:00, when it used to be 11pm «btw needs to be change on Google». But we both enjoyed the pizza! Especially when I’ve been craving it :], the cheeseballs are amazing as well a must have! But sucks I made him meet me and have him drive from south central when we didn’t know the hours had changed, even though The waiter was very sweet and let us hang out for a bit without rushing us :] thanks

I fell in lo e with the cheese balls!!!
And the pizza was good. Gonna come back to bring my 1^st girlfriend here!

There seems to be plenty of agreement how this restaurant hasn’t gotten its act together, but for some strange reason I decided that my time had come this place. That was a bad decision. Everything is just as bad as all of the other reviews have stated, even though it’s nearly 1 year after their opening.
My friend and I got seated promptly, but that was it. When the wings arrived, they were just dropped off at the table. We had to ask the runner for 1 side of ranch, and 1 side of bleu cheese dressing. I guess we should happy that we weren’t charged for the dressing, but doesn’t almost everyone want ranch, bleu cheese or both when they are having wings? No one ever stopped by to check on us, refill our waters, or anything. We had 2 hungry kids with us, and we would have ordered more food if we thought someone would be stopping by to take our order. We decided to pay and leave. But we couldn’t find our server. Then I stood at the hostess stand for 5 minutes, waiting for someone who could give us our check. When we got our check, it for a different table, so we had to wait again & explain that we had been given the wrong check. Get your wings somewhere else. This place just can’t figure it out, and I’m clearly not the only one with this experience.

This place was surprisingly great! The wings are good (better than Buffalo Wild Wings) and the Asian Chicken salad we had was fantastic. We were able to watch our football game because they have the nfl package so… BONUS!
The manager was very friendly and came out to check on us… when it gets warmer we might check out the happy hour and take advantage of their patio.

Our server was great! George was very attentive and friendly, totally made our visit very welcoming. Great food as always and this has to be the best Alondras location I’ve been too. We’ll definitely be back again.

After going to original Alondra hot wings in Paramount we were in the area of Pasadena and figured we would try this location out… upon arrival the entrance was packed with people the what seemed to be «Manager» at the front wearing the tan shirt looked nervous and lost at the same time. there was plenty of open tables not cleaned didnt look like enough staff was working finally getting seated and wait time was long along with the service a hig disappointment compared to other location.
More staff is required at this location along with management!
Would never come back to this location.
Overall the resturant is nice and update but service sucks!

My initial impression of this establishment was positive — there was plenty of free parking spaces available in the underground lot, and the customer seating at our table was quite comfortable. I found the restaurant’s organized crime theme to be interesting and original.
Unfortunately, the food left something to be desired. I ordered the Alondra’s Classic Hamburger (w/​cheese), and opted for Coleslaw and Fried Zucchini as my 2 sides.
The burger and fried zucchini were not bad, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere (at similar price points). The zucchini was not served with any ranch (seriously, this is a pretty severe and inexcusable oversight for a restaurant), and I had to ask for some from one of the servers. The coleslaw was disappointingly lacking in creaminess, and I had to resort to dumping a cup of ranch in it to render it edible.
I also requested a cup of BBQ sauce for my friend from a server, and was told that we would be charged 75 cents for each cup. Dude … really??? You’re really going to nickle and dime us like that??? I’d expect that from the Mickey Dee’s near Skid Row, but not from an eatery featuring Al Capone instead of John Wayne Gacy …, err, I mean Ronald McDonald.
Did BBQ sauce suddenly reach parity with truffles as a culinary commodity in Pasadena? In any case, the receipt appeared to indicate that we were *not* charged for it, but that server’s response still troubled us just the same.
Additionally, I should note that we were not provided with forks at our table, and we had to request a pair from one of the servers. I’m curious whether the restaurant staff expected us to consume our coleslaw and mac and cheese with our hands, or our snouts …
In all fairness, our primary server was pleasant to deal with, and was very attentive about keeping my buddy’s strawberry lemonade constantly topped off. So kudos to her for that. But the level of service here still needs improvement, overall.
²⁄₅ Stars may admittedly be a little on the harsh side, but I’m pretty sure this restaurant has failed the «McDonald’s Test» (you get no more than 2 stars if I conclude that I would have been better off eating at McDonald’s than at your restaurant).
Would I come back here? Eh … I can’t say that have any urge to. I’d take my chances at Plate 38 again before I would return here.

Alondra’s is overpriced so-​so «american» bar food. Pizza, wings, and burgers. The portion sizes are moderate to generous but nothing tastes spectacular and the pricing is pretty high. For example, wings are roughly 90 cents each regardless how bulk you buy it. The pizzas taste very generic and aren’t anything special, but it’ll run you back about 20 to 25 dollars. This location does have a lot of TVs though, and is never really crowded.

The food needs to step up in this establishment. It was unacceptably bad. I don’t know why, but the first thing that I wanted from the menu was chili. I guess I expected the place to make their own stuff, or at least make a half attempt at it. The chili was canned Hormel chili from the grocery stores. Trust me, I know my Hormel chili. I got it in a bread bowl. Lucky me.
We all shared a variety of hot wings, salad, pizza, onion rings and a burger. The food just was not up to par for me. Look, it made T.G.I.F’s look like a two time Michelin star winner. I swear I did a 20 second daydream in the middle of my meal, California dreaming of Friday’s tater skins and loaded nachos. Man, I would have paid $ 20 for a Friday cheeseburger at this point.
So yeah, food needs to improve a lot here.
Ambiance is nice, servers are friendly, but food is always número uno.

The wings are pretty good, just not mind-​blowing or anything. I was hoping for the latter since people make such a stink about Alondra’s, but I guess you can’t win them all.
Alondra’s would, for sure, get a 4-​star review was it not for for the time it takes to get a booth for a party of six. Blame on it on game night. Blame it on the rain. I don’t know, really. All I know is that it shouldn’t take over an hour to obtain a booth.
Also, I tried a piece of grilled chicken in a friend’s salad and it was the worst tasting chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Overly salted, crunchy like celery (say what now?), and it almost felt uncooked in my mouth. I rarely spit stuff into napkins as it is kinda gross, but it had to be done! Honestly, I’d rather eat mystery nuggets from McDougal’s.

Just your regular wings and pizza place; not spectacular and not horrible. Nothing special. I won’t go out of my way to return.
If you do happen to find yourself here, try the cheese balls. They were the highlight of our meal (we also ordered pizza, wings, and sides of house salad and fried pickles).

We waited until this Alondras Hot Wings got settled into their newest location, here in Pasadena, before I wrote my review.
Love that they have plenty of parking and the NYC theme/​ambiance is just right.
The boo and I like to sit at the bar and so far the service has been great! Much like someone mentioned in another review, Cristina is an awesome bartender!
I prefer all of the dry rub style wings that include Cajun, lemon pepper, and the scrumptious «seasoned» wings. And my s/​o loves the saucy, spicy hot wings here.
And as at any of their other locations, my only wish is that the wings were just a little bit plumper… #firstworldproblems

Alondra Hot Wings and I got off on the wrong foot. The stupid website doesn’t contain a menu with prices and the restaurant itself doesn’t have to-​go menus. Why is that a big deal? Because if you’re trying to order to-​go, you have no prices and worse, the online menu offerings are out of date. The wait staff constantly tell you that certain items aren’t offered anymore and when you try to ask what is offered, they say, just come down. I don’t want to! It’s a phone order! Do we live in 2015 or what? Update the damn menu!
The wings are fine. They’re normal/​smallish sized. I found the Lemon Pepper extremely salty and the Spicy Honey BBQ was pretty good. I was peeved that the wings didn’t come with both celery and carrots as promised on the menu but just carrots. And it was a small sandwich baggie full, maybe 10 sticks total. Chintzy.
Steer clear of the pizza. This is where Alondra rips you off big time. A 12″ Gambino cost nearly $ 20 and it was… eh, a white pizza with shredded chicken and basil. I’d only buy wings in the future knowing how middle of the road their pizzas are, given the price.
