Looking for something unique for your special event? The Celtic harp provides not only the elegance and beauty of a concert harp, but has a mystique all its own and can set the tone for your special event. If you’d like a more lively sound for your event, Celtic bands are a specialty.
Aedan also specializes in Celtic wedding music. She will help you choose the perfect romantic music for your ceremony or reception. On the Harpmuse website you will find information, not only about the music, but about traditional Celtic wedding customs.
Aedan also teaches harp. She has been teaching for 15+ years, and is the harp coach to Mayim Bialik on Warner Bros’ hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. She focuses on technique, reading music, ear training, and basic music theory. She also includes ergonomics to reduce risk of injury. At the same time she keeps lessons fun and interesting, moving at your pace, with lessons tailored just for you.

History
Established in 1990.
Classically trained on piano beginning at the age of 7, Aedan has a solid foundation in music and music theory. As an adult, she picked up the Celtic harp and studied Celtic harp in Ireland with some of the most renowned harpers from Ireland, as well as Scotland and Wales. She’s performed for over 20 years on radio shows, public television, and festivals. One of the greatest compliments she has received has been given many times, all by natives of the Celtic Isles: «Thank you, I felt like I was back home again.»

Business Owner
Aedan taught herself to play piano and read music at the age of 7. She then went on to study classical piano for the next ten years. In her early 20’s she found Celtic music and the harp, and fell in love with both.
Aedan is multi-talented. In addition to piano and harp, she also plays accordion. Her talents also encompass voice, dance, choreography, and production. She’s written, directed, and produced two successful theatre productions using traditional music, song and dance to tell stories from the Celtic cultures.
Over the years she’s played with many bands, and is currently a member of the Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles. She’s also the founder of Speyside, a Scottish Country Dance band.
