Decent dimsum but it is expensive. I like the variety that they had. They had special dishes that are harder to find in smaller dimsum places like clams in black beans, fried dough noodles, etc. It was also a good crowd of people. I always worry about entering empty restaurants. It is a nice sized space so it can accommodate large parties if that’s what you are looking for. I do want to come back and try the weekday family of 4 special. Service is prompt. The dimsum servers are able to explain dishes and speak marginal English. They push dishes but not annoyingly so.

Noodle Chu is one of my favorites in the area. I’ve tried them for all three meals, dim sum, lunch and dinner. Dim Sum– choices are your usual but they have all my staples so I’m happy. I usually have the hargao, shrimp noodles, shrimp shumai, and pan fried chive cakes. Shrimp noodles, the rice noodle is not too thick which I like or else it taste like you’re eating nothing but bland dough and it also complete wraps around the shrimp, lately places have been just covering the top. The chive cakes, the pan fried one has more flavor vs the steamed one. I usually go early so some of the dim sum isn’t ready yet, but if you come later, you might have to wait for a table, so depends on my patience. If I come later than I get to choose fried squid, black bean clams, and fried shrimp balls, my other favorites. Lunch– this is before they re-opened, but during the weekdays they used to have slippery egg rices. So I love the beef and bitter melon rice or beef and slippery egg dishes. They are smooth and creamy in texture and feel like comfort food because it’s meat and rice. Dinner, we usually do the family banquet style dishes where you get 8 dishes, like lobster, peking pork, grand marnier shrimp. Their dinner portion sizes are smaller than the other restaurants in the area, but I like their flavors and figured it’s more like portion control anyway, works in my waistline’s favor. Service has slightly changed from before they closed and re-opened in 2015, I think they are still training and working out the kinks, so sometimes it’s hit or miss, the old crew used to be very quick and well seasoned.

I’ll start off with saying it’s not bad for a place outside NYC Chinatown or flushing. Ate dim sum. It had the usual dishes. Nothing bad or great about anything. Ordered beef chow fun and seafood pan fried noodle as well and those dishes were pretty good. Nothing tasted watered down like what you would get at a take out restaurant. Every thing was pretty authentic. I was disappointed that they didn’t have sesame roll dessert. The one thing that was also disappointing was the cart didn’t come around often enough with new items. I would definitely go again.

Went for dim sum on New Years Day with friends and family. Limited variety of dim sum. Ordered several noodle dishes also which tasted very starchy. Pan fried noodle was not pan fried at all. Mentioned to the staff and was told the starchy sauce softened the noodle. Ordered Peking pork which was dry and over cooked and was told that the pork had been fried earlier or else it would be raw. It tasted like it was fried days earlier and then fried again this morning. Not the same as the past. Must be a new chef in the kitchen. Very disappointed.

The food is now expensive and the place is dirty. I thought they closed down for renovation? I am so disappointed. I will never come back again.

My good friend is a huge fan of this place so I probably come here a few times a month with him– maybe even once a week. The 3 dinners for $ 24⁄25 is really unbeatable. It is a ridiculous amount of tasty food for a great steal. I order the chinese broccoli, e-fu mushroom noodles, fried fish, and other things. Why not 5 stars? The ladies bathroom seems really dirty at times and one time a waiter brought me water and the glass was soooooo dirty. I’m talking an unwashed glass with food particles. I yelled at him in chinese and he was unapologetic. I work as a server so I would’ve continously apologized and tried to make up for that shocker. They should be more careful and clean… But all in all– the food is good so I will come back.

We were long time customers before they closed for months. Went back tonight to see how it is now & we were very disappointed. The food does not look or taste the same. The quantity & quality is not there, even the tea is different. There were more vegetables than meat & the flavors are just not there. The wait staff & cooks are different people. We have eaten here for years & after tonight’s meal we will not be back.

We ate dim sum here on a Saturday. Food: It was the standard dim sum fare with no real surprise in terms of selection. I always get the Phoenix Claws(chicken feet) and here they had a deep and rich flavor — delicious. We had a variety of little dumplings too which were all decent. If you’re into hot, they can give you a chili pepper paste which kicks everything up! Ambience: The servers mostly speak Chinese but it doesn’t matter. They bring the little carts around and all you have to do is look and point at what you want. I don’t know what you would do if you had food allergies… ask the manager, I guess. This place(and all dim sum places, actually) is not for the faint of heart. The servers can be pretty aggressive with their little carts and offerings so you cannot be shy. Take a chance and it could be delicious. And if you don’t like it, most dishes cost under 5 bucks anyways. 4 people came and ate really well for around 45 bucks, with tip. I highly recommend this place.

I came in for a late lunch. I was originally going to have phö at the Vietnamese restaurant a few spots down, but saw a sign for Noodles and figured I would try something new. First they brought me a very light yellow/green colored tea that was served in the metal kettle pot. The tea was cold, so I told him and he brought me another batch of tea, way darker brown in color, which, was also ice cold. I gave up at that point with the tea… For a late lunch there was a few customers in there, also a lot of the family of these owners was in there. One of the relatives was pushing a cart around selling small batches of dim sum for $ 4.00. I didn’t get any and I kinda wish I did. I ordered the beef chow fun with no bean sprouts. I was asked if I wanted it dry or with sauce. I was slightly confused by this because of the way I normally have the dish prepared. He told me with brown sauce the dish was one dollar more. I figured I was safer ordering it without the sauce and asking for some on the side if I needed it. The reason for the sauce is so these noodles don’t stick together. So if you get this dish«dry» they still come out brown but you can taste they are covered in oil to prevent the sticking. It was way too oily for me and didn’t have a lot of flavor to it. I ate about six bites and called it a day. The dish was also expensive $ 10.95 without the sauce. It also could of had a little more beef in it. If I do come back here, I’ll try the dim sum. I am not ordering that dish prepared that way again. Also the name of the place has noodles in the title. I would of thought there would be more of a focus on noodles in the menu and there wasn’t. I would of liked to see some ramen or something.

Yes they’re open again but the new waiters do not know what they’re doing. We’ve been coming here for years and was saddened when they closed for more than 3 months for«renovation» which now seems like an entire staff renovation… And now more saddened that we won’t ever be returning after today. Went here for dim sum on a Sunday. 12 Noon and we were seated right away — which should warn you something’s up. Tea in the pot was ice cold… Tea is suppose to be hot! Was ready to walk out after waiting for 25 minutes for a dim sum cart lady to walk by. Some of the cart ladies are the same but they totally ignored us. When we were finally served dim sum it was the same as usual. Nothing Spectacular — which means the chefs are the same. Had to flag down a waiter — who totally didn’t see the open pot I put in the center of the table — to refill the teapot. Prices went up and all our dishes were charged the«large» price… 3 tiny spring rolls used to be «medium» — now large! Not the same as before and definitely not better.

Excellent service and very clean environment for customers to hang out. The food is down to earth delicious and fresh, more resembles those of China-town in New York City. It offers party rooms for weddings and birthdays and etc.,… Senior citizens usually have their weekly luncheons over in that place because of their affordable prices and friendly services… it also offers dancing floor for ppl like to dance… all in all it is a community where ppl hang out not only for its food but also for its comfortable environment.

This restaurant serves great Asian cuisine and I was Lucky enough to be able to compare of that in Hong Kong and China. The food is spot on and almost identical to that of the real deal Asian cuisine.

We frequent Noodle Chu a lot and pretty much everything here is great. The food is pretty comparable to New York city Chinatown Chinese restaurants, if not better. Their service is prompt and to the point. The minute you order, your food will come out within 5 – 10 minutes. I’ve been able to try numerous dishes here: beef pan-fried noodles, seafood pan-fried noodles, pan-fried flounder, lobster special, salt & pepper squid, beef with bitter melon, beef with chinese broccoli, roast pork, peking pork chop, etc. I’ve also been here for dim sum and it is pretty decent as well. I have to give Qin Dynasty down the road the edge with the dim sum though. Do come here for the weekday(Mon-Thu.) special. For $ 20, you’ll get a choice of soup and choice of 3 select dishes(smaller portions). Definitely bang for your buck!

So confused when I walked in because I thought I was in a Chinatown basement restaurant. The décor definitely screamed the need for attention, but was clean enough.
Although I honestly thought, initially by looking at the menu — I thought I would have been able to get the same dishes from my local neighborhood take out. I was glad I gave this place a chance. The predominantly Asian crowd attested to the really good high quality meals. I got the Seafood Panfried Noodles — which had tons of scallons, jumbo shrimp, calamari on top of the noodles. Also got the beef with bamboo shoots and the shitake mushrooms. Both dishes were superb. I’d definitely come back to this place.

I liked the dim sum! Now, I don’t know much about dim sum but I liked everything I tried. It was super busy, too, but it didn’t take too long for us to be seated and quickly served. Would have loved to see more of a variety, but everything was good! I would love to come back soon.

I’ve been here for dim sum and regular dinner foods. They are direct competitors with Qin Dynasty right across rt 46. I would say service here is better than Qin Dynasty, and I might recommend you come to Noodle for dinner, but Qin Dynasty for dim sum. Before Qin Dynasty came around, I’ve always had dim sum here. It was always waaaayyy toooo greasy, but since there were no other options I didn’t know better. Qin has more choices and because more people go there, the food is fresher and warm when you get it. However, for dinner, I really like the food here. One dish I can never ever pass up is their beef chow fun. It’s definitely top 3 beef chow fun EVER — if you don’t mind the grease. The beef is tender. I love picking out the scallions… where can I get me some right now. All their other dishes are pretty flavorful as well. Probably can’t go wrong with any kind of meat dish. There’s this crispy fried pork chop thing with a sweet sauce that everyone absolutely loves. It’s heavenly over rice. The space is HUGE here, so unless you have a very large party, chances are you won’t have to wait long at any time. Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Morris County area.

Really good, authentic Chinese food in northern NJ. Noodle Chu has an unbeatable lunch special. Three entrees, rice, and soup for the low price of $ 20.95. And they were good. We had the duck, salt and pepper squid/pork chops, and beef chow fun. The duck was good, a little soggy, but the flavor was right. Squid was a bit too salty for my taste, but the pork chops were exceptionally crispy and perfectly seasoned. These are probably the best salt and pepper pork chops I’ve had. Beef chow fun had good texture and flavor. Everything was prepared well. The service was typical of most Chinese restaurants.
