We provide all aspects of general dentistry with the exception of orthodontics (Braces). We are especially excited by our state of the art digital X-ray system, our one-hour in office tooth whitening system, and our porcelain veneers.
We are most excited about our weight loss program, using the HypnoBand System of weight loss. We have been able to help many people lose weight successfully and consistently. We also offer a smoking cessation program, habit control (such as tooth grinding or nail biting) and helping anxious or nervous dental patients get the dental treatment they otherwise would not receive. All this done in a safe, natural, drug free and comfortable environment.
We now have an Englewood Cliffs office where we treat hypnosis patients on Tuesdays 1PM-7PM.
History
Established in 1979.
I have been in practice since 1979, first in Bergen County, and since 1986 in Parsippany. In those more than thirty years, we have provided excellent dental to care to thousands of satisfied and happy patients.
In 2006, hypno-therapy was added to the procedures that we provide. We help people lose and maintain weight, quit smoking, control certain habits, such as tooth grinding or nail biting. We also enable frightened dental patients to obtain the treatment they need naturally without use of drugs.
Dr. Grayson was featured in April of 2010 on the NJ Network News using hypnosis to treat a dental patient without use of any anesthesia at all. He has also appeared in several local newspapers, including the Morris Daily Record, and the Parsippany Life.

Doctor David N Grayson DDS, Director of the Dental Hypnosis Center of New Jersey, graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree in 1977. Dr. Grayson first opened a small office in Bergen County, and then moved to his current location in Parsippany, NJ in May of 1986.
Dr. Grayson has had extensive training in all aspects of dentistry. He is especially proficient in the area of cosmetic dentistry, where he has performed many smile makeovers.
Dr. Grayson is also a board-certified hypno-therapist. He provides weight loss counseling using the HypnoBand System of weight loss, which has helped many people loss and maintain weight safely and effectively. he also has a one-visit cigarette smoking cessation program, habit control programs, for tooth grinding, nail biting etc., as well as helping anxious dental patients get treatment without drugs.
Dr. Grayson is an Approved Consultant of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH)
