Charged $ 210 for a part that costs less than $ 90 by a simple Google search. Tired of getting ripped off by mechanical service businesses. They try to deter you from providing them with the parts yourself, by jacking up the cost of labor in that scenario up to $ 110/​hr. They also do not provide you with an itemized list of costs BEFORE the job begins, and they do not have a functional website.
The mechanics themselves give you an honest assessment, and do a great job. But given the notoriety and pervasiveness of the car mechanic industry ripping off their consumer base, PRICE is by far the most important consideration for me. Hence, the rating.

It’s Hard to find Honest mechanics these days, over diagnosing and over charging has become a norm.
I was wrong at Car Tech, after taking my car and going thru their diagnosis and cost I was surprised that they pointed out what’s necessary to replace and what is optional with decent price, half of what I was quoted at dealership.
I’m very happy with the service and attitude of the owner and mechanics.
I would recommend Car Tech for all your car repair.

This is the best auto repair shop I have found after long time and that too with very reasonable rates. I went to this shop to repair my car which was hit by someone. First I got the estimates from this shop and others as well. I got the best rate here and that too with lot of difference from others. When I got my car back after repair, I was the happiest person after seeing the work done. It was done very nicely and even they saved me lot of money by using small parts like emblem and bracket from old one. they are comparatively new in this business but I am really satisfied with their work.
