Pizza was OK but nothing to rave about. Service was fast and friendly. I would go again for a quick hunger fix but when seeking super tasty pizza this probably isn’t the spot.

Just had the chicken parm and wife had the eggplant parm. Salad was small and disappointing. The main dish came out so drenched with watery sauce you couldn’t see the meat. My wife took 1 bit of the very thin sliced/grey looking eggplant and asked the waitress to take it back. Waitress apologized and brought meatballs to go with wifes smothered pasta. Also inedible. My chicken was very thin and chewy. I ate it but immediately regret it. We will never return. I only gave it 1 star because zero is not an option.

$ 20 for two cold cheese and bread sandwhiches that were supposed to be phillycheesesteaks

Michelangelo’s has a nice selection of unique thin crust pizzas. I tried the Spicy Chicken Pizza. The crust was soft but lightly crispy, the Buffalo sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the chicken pieces were large and tender. Overall it was a very enjoyable pizza.

We usually order takeout or delivery. Delivery is quick(compared to other places in the area). The food is always pretty good. I’m originally from the north and this is the first place I’ve found in the area that has good normal pizza shop pizza like we would have back home. So many places in this area try to do something«different» to make their pizza special. But I don’t want special pizza I want my pizza to taste like regular plain old pizza. I have never been disappointed and they have consistently been pleasant to deal with.

We have eaten here so many times. The food is usually an 8 out of 10. They have great pizza but The service is usually a 4 out of 10 unless. The turn over for the servers is ridiculous. There are a few servers that are good but not many. Biggest problem is ordering a dish and someone at the table ordering slices. They never get served at the same time. Sometimes it’s to the point where the table is having two eating sessions. Other issues are ordering fried calamari and having a coldish side of sauce. How does that even happen? Now you send your sauce back and the calamari is getting cold! I’ve ordered the eggplant rotini twice and twice I couldn’t eat the dish because the center was cold and the prosciutto is actually cheap ham. It’s a shame that this place is kinda inconsistent.

Called in for a pick up, when arrived to pick up… No order… Rude owner in the back… asking«you want it or not???» Quality of food good… Incompetent staff and management

We’ve tried pizza and stromboli here and both are great. Good price, fresh ingredients, great sauce, with just the right spice.

This place doesn’t deserve the business they get. They are rude, close when they feel like it, food is super inconsistent and they just don’t seem to care about their customers. I vote NO!

Just ordered a pizza for delivery. Second time trying this place. First time I got some kind of veggie nonsense which was alright but a bit heavy on the garlic. Today I just got a thin crust, black olive pizza and it was pretty awesome. Definitely beats the other options in the area for delivery. I read some of the other reviews and I think they’re probably from the typical, pretentious, Sarasota middle-class who think they’re upper-class. But, I could be wrong. As I said, only my second time trying it. Couple suggestions based on my limited experience: 1) Do the thin crust. 2) If you get a salad, you may need to get your own dressing… at least the balsamic was not doing it for me. 3) Leave them a good tip because that’s what you should do if you’re not a bad person. 4) Eat the pizza with your pinkie finger out and pretend you’re Martha Stewart and from time to time while you chew and while you’re mouth is full say«it’s a good thing» over the phone to an ex-girlfriend that you drunk-dialed because you are sad that your wife is fat and your ex-girlfriend is not quite as fat, while you cry and lament your past decisions, just keep whispering occasionally, «it’s a good thing». 5(Unrelated to the restaurant). Wash your hands constantly. Feverishly. Until they bleed if necessary. Then wash them some more. They’re still dirty.

I can’t say enough how disappointed I am with this restaurant. Over an hour for delivery is unacceptable. The employees at this location need to go train at the Lakewood Ranch location. The chicken parmesan pizza arrived cold and without any pizza sauce. At least the chicken had SOME marinara on it, right? My wife speculated on whether the pizza was made at 10AM or not. The fettuccini alfredo may have been the most bland pasta I have ever consumed. I had to season it myself in order to make it edible. The mozzarella sticks had no mozzarella left in the sticks. It was all over the bottom of the container. On top of all this I now have to now listen to «I told you so» from my wife. She said the quality level from this location wasn’t on the level of their sister locations but I insisted we give it a shot. I would rather have set my $ 50 on fire.

This place has gone downhill. I used to be one of their biggest fans, but every time I have gone, it’s just not good. Crust was undercooked and toppings(spinach and riccota) had no flavor. I didn’t even finish my slice. Disappointing.

We live in Atlanta but have family in Parrish. After the long drive down our first stop is always Michaelangelo’s Pizza. I love everything about their pizza. The crust, the sauce, the fresh toppings, are all worth the drive down. The cannolis are a perfect end to the meal. My only criticism would be that they are a little pricey.

I was so excited to try this place. It smelled delicious when I arrived. I was hesitant because of the cold reception I received when I arrived. He was an older man heavy set running the front. I noticed he delivered everyone’s food to them, except mine. He made me come and get. That seemed odd. I thought it was because I had a service dog with me. When I picked up my pizza it was warm not hot. It was almost flavorless. Very disappointed in the food and service. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

I LOVE the tortellini Della nonna. We have ate here several times including everything from stuffed pizza to the Stromboli. We have never had bad food or service here. My only request would be that they cut the bell pepper and onions smaller in the Stromboli. Awesome food.

We were met by a sweeping clerk who felt finishing his sweeping job was more important than taking an order. STRIKEONE.(Not counting the grotesqueness of sweeping in the vicinity of food on open pizza trays.) Everything says Pepsi products but he assured us they were a Coke restaurant – the recipe was really bad for Diet Coke-tasted funny. STRIKETWO. The pizza(left out on tray who knows how long and reheated) was flavorful with a crisp crunchy crust. We dug up our own oregano, red peppers, paper towels from another table. None of the four outdoor café tables were cleaned off though the store was empty at 4 in the afternoon except for us. STRIKETHREE. We won’t be back. Decent pizza taste but very poor conditions make us concerned about health and hygiene. A restaurant is only as good as the employee on duty. Sorry.

The Calamari France Diavalo is so good I have to order it everytime. Huge pieces of calamari cooked perfectly.

Definitely the best pizza in Manatee County. It won’t get any better I can assure you. They have 2 locations, one in Lakewood Ranch and one in Parrish. Both locations are excellent. This simply does not compare to any of the chain pizzerias. Their menu items besides pizza are also very good. The wait staff is always friendly and the guys behind the counter are nice as well. They are always tinkering and coming up with new kinds of pizza and I have yet to have one that I dislike. Don’t waste your time going to any other pizza joint, you’ll just end up disappointed. Go to Michelangelo’s and have some good food.

This place was found in the Publix Plaza in Parrish. Walking in, you would notice the Michael Angelo repaint of the popular«God reaching touch.» in the clouds. We sat down and ordered a warm garlic roll. Delicious! Then we ordered a pizza with mushrooms. Receiving it: I truly think this may be by far the best hand tossed pizza in West Florida! The sauce was perfect, not too sweet a little tangy but not too rich. The cheese was awesome! The great taste of freshness. Certainly«Real» mozzarella so authentic and stringy. The crust helps steal your taste buds. Crispy in each bite! Perfectly done all around! If in Parrish or Ellenton Florida, look these guys up! I highly recommend it. Their menu is full with many other Italiano grubs! So mangiare…
