Performace Edge 2 School Of Dance

The only professionals located @ PE2 were Ms. Bridget, Jessica the receptionist and the tap dance teacher. All others couldn’t care less if you were there or not! In addition, it’s evident they only cater to those whom are COMPANY dancers. Honestly they shouldn’t even offer recreational/​beginners classes only auditions for company as its all they care about… The environment is very unhealthy as the young girls are only concerned about how pretty they look and who’s the better dancer. When they should encourage each girl to assist their peers and be the best form of themselves not to compete against someone else. Won’t be returning.

As the mother of a young boy in a ‘sport’ that is generally considered to be for girls, I wanted to be sure to find a studio where my son would be able to learn in a comfortable environment. This dance studio has definitely proved to be that. The owners and teachers continue to provide him with incredible opportunities that allow him to become better and better. He and I both consider PE2 to be our second home. Our second family!!! I can’t imagine taking him anywhere else.

Being a Dance mom for nearly 3 decades I decided to write this review which was a long time coming. I observed at this Dance studio such a lack of Respect towards the Parents & the Students that I have not seen to this degree. The kids are not the priority here!!!
The owners are the worst I’ve seen yet & I mean the worst!!! They have no regard for the feeling of the kids who really only want to dance. The environment is not a healthy one and I would not let my kids go there having the experience that I have. It’s really a shame the kids are so talented and strive for more, some are selfishly held back for reasons non related to Dance.
I would have to say stay away folks!!!

the owner and operator of this studio met and auditioned my daughter. i was told to expect a phone call or email or text… none of which ever happened. i called numerous times to find out whether i needed to register her, what classes she needed to take… the receptionist aplogized every time and told me she asked Ricardo and he would call me that evening. that happened 3 times until the time to register at any studio was becoming short. my daughter was invited to dance elsewhere but i am still galled at the complete lack of professionalism and common courtesy by this studio. i cannot imagine ever enrolling my child at a dance studio where the culture is clearly not about the kids.

Love Love Love this Dance school. The teachers are a compilation of dancers from all around the world. They are very competitive but promote learning and also fun! Its by far one of the best studios I have ever been to. I just wish they had adult dance classes.
