The Home Depot

The staff at this Home Depot are always very friendly and helpful. Every time I’ve asked someone where to find something, the can give me the aisle number and even where on the shelf it is. Great customer service like that will keep me coming back again and again… Wish there was a food truck outside or something to sneak a quick burger or brat.

My review is not really about the store but more about an employee that we met while shopping for all new appliances. Bob Evans yeah that’s right Bob Evans spent more time talking to us about the differences between the brands and the advantages and disadvantages of each item that when we finally bought over $ 6k in appliances we were confident we made the best choice for us. He was great. Very knowledgeable. Explained every detail of every item. Even pointed out that the stove I really wanted was up front on clearance. If I ever need appliances I will definitely track down Bob.

It’s a Home Depot.

Do not use this store for cabinets unless you want to wait literally 5 months and we still don’t have the order done. This is a kitchen for my elderly parents and they just aren’t taking care of the elderly or they just don’t care. Multiple complaints, calls to the manager, wrong orders, and complete lack of follow-​up. We ordered cabinets and received damaged merchandise. Took back the actual damaged cabinet in the box. They looked at it and ordered the wrong one. This was a base not an upper. What did we receive almost 4 months ago? An upper. We’ve been going back and forth on this since March and it’s still not right. Even with the manager’s assurance it will be taken care of. First, damaged. Followed by the wrong reorder. Followed by a new damaged cabinet. Followed by the wrong door being ordered so it did not match. Followed by another damaged replacement door. Followed by promises of getting it fixed. Followed by the manager committing to get a whole new cabinet. Guess what? Another damaged. Followed by we promise we’ll get a new one and we’ll install immediately. Followed by no follow up. They called and said we have a good cabinet so come get it. I said, where’s the installation that was promised? Caller had no idea. We visit the store and they say someone will call for installation. Twice. Another visit… no calls. It’s the end of August and we’ve been trying to get this completed since March. I repeat, do not use this Home Depot for cabinets!

I went into Home Depot on Sunday, August 16, 2015 needing some things to improve my home including new keys, mirror hanging supplies, light repair supplies, garden stuff, etc. I was asked if I needed help by no less than 6 employees and helped by 3. Very friendly and knowledgable staff who really seem to enjoy what they do and know the art of great customer service.

I could write a lengthy review in excessive detail explaining how amazing a specific lady in the gardening department was. I would mention her name but the rules say specifically not to give anyone’s personal information so here it is accordingly:
This lady was amazing and provided the perfect example of WORLD CLASS customer service. She stayed by my girlfriend’s and my side from beginning to end making sure we found everything we needed to complete our project at home.
She went ABOVE and BEYOND by just being a decent human being. She was personable, funny, a pleasure to talk to, was very polite, did not interrupt or try to rush us a long or hand us to different people.
At the end of the day she made what otherwise could have been a very inconvenient errand for the day into a streamlined expedited shopping experience that was fun, pleasureable, and timely allowing us to complete our desired goals with flying colors before the day’s light ended =) =) =)

I am updating this post from a 2 to a 4. Parker Home Depot is a good store and I’ve always received excellent customer service. The Home Depot rep did everything she could help out. They do not have any control over the HOM Solutions company. After discussing my project with the HOM Solutions regional manager, she quickly found an installer and returned calls promptly. My floors look wonderful!

I’m not sure how to rate this review. Home Depot is a good store but they use HOM SOLUTIONS for their installations. HOM SOLUTIONS is HORRIBLE! You cannot believe what they tell you for an install date. Right now I’m waiting THREE more weeks without bathroom floors and toilets. I took off work, reschedule appointments and made sure everything was ready for the bathroom floors to be installed. Only for them to call and cancel! They said ‘oops. we should not have scheduled you’ and the next date will be 3 weeks! I AM SO ANGRY!

The staff at this Home Depot location is great. Over the past month my wife or I have been in there at least ten times and every time we go in the employees help us more than we ever expected at a big chain place like this. The tips and helpful information they have given us has converted us from Lowe’s to Home Depot for everything we need.

How in the world does this place stay in business??? I’ve been in four times, trying to have a backsplash installed in my kitchen, and there is NEVER anyone who can help me. IF someone does finally try to help me, they are poorly or simply NOT trained. This place sucks.

You get in, get your things and get out before you know it. No aimless wandering for me — I’ve always had someone say «Good morning» right away and they always know where my sought after items are. Self checkout is super fast and the huge parking lot always has space. Clean and well stocked — I’ve always found what I need and was able to get in and out in a jiffy.

What a JOKE! If there was the ability to rate this location with 0 stars, I would. We went in to get custom blinds for two sliding glass doors in our new home. After dealing with the first kid for 45 minutes, scheduling the Home Depot window measurement, selecting the blinds we wanted to see in our home, and leaving with a 1 page order confirmation, we waited for a week before the installer could get out to measure.
Once he measured, we were told to call back and order the blinds. We were called by some lady who seemed to know what blinds we wanted, but when we called back, they had no record of us ever ordering anything. Worse yet, the person on duty argued with us about who had called us earlier in the day.
Rather than stay on the phone arguing, we went in. No one could help us at 7 PM on a week night because they were not specialists in blinds. The first lady continued to argue about who called us and told my wife, «there are two of us in this department tonight, you can go find the other guy.»
After an additional 30 minutes working with «the other guy» we found a manger who assured us everything was going to be taken care of. So we left him at his word.
The following day, we received a call from the specialist and promptly returned to the store to place our order, fork over $ 1100 of our money, received paperwork on the order, and assumed the manager oversight had worked.
The next day, we receive a call from the store that we needed to come in and place our order. With no record of anything on file, they were again LOST. Forget the fact that $ 1172 was post-​dated to our account.
At this point, we are pulling our order and asking for a full refund. We’ll see how that goes. The manager isn’t in until Noon. Thanks for nothing!

As a home owner Home Depot and Lowes becomes your friend. I tend to goto Home Depot more because its close to home. They seem to be very friendly and wanting to help.
Only complaint. Returned after market bathroom sink cartridge. New cartridge leaked even after changed out. Reading reviews online. Lots of people having same issues. Moan sink use moan parts. Returned to get store credit or exchange for OEM part. They seem to question. They finally did give me store credit and my bad aftermarket part went back on shelf. Lol

I’m a huge fan of the Home Depot. I find that they are very helpful and are always price competitive. I’ve bought thousands of dollars of equipment, tools and supplies from them over the years, and the staff at this location is great.
We take our son there for the Kids projects on the 1^st Saturday of each month, and he always has a good time.
I have no complaints; Great Store!

I had pretty much stopped shopping at Home Depot because every time I needed 4 items to do a project, they only had 1 or 2 of the items needed and were unwilling to order anything because they would say they didn’t want it in the store because of scheduled inventory. They also seemed to hire the dumbest people they could find and you could count on them always giving you wrong answer (if you could even find them in the store) so I started shopping elsewhere. Recently though I’ve found this store has completely changed. I’ve been in about 10 times in recent months and have found the store has inventory and the employees are super friendly and go out of their way to help me. I’ve been on crutches lately and they almost race to get a scooter for me to use in the store and always ask if I need help out. It is now a pleasure to shop here.

I bout damaged curtains and when I returned them sheryl was very rude. We observed her being rude to other customers as well. This was a very big incovience and on top of that to not be treated well really left me not feeling good about my overall experience. Good thing the other employees were helpful and nice.

Good store, great service in landscaping. Jerry is a hoot! Buy some mulch from him and have a great laugh!

In recent years I have found myself shopping at Lowe’s considerably more frequently than Home Depot. This is because I had a run of visits at Home Depot where I could not seem to find anyone to help me, and the merchandise was none too easy to find in a quick or logical manner. So, I decided to pay a few cents more for a somewhat better service level from Lowe’s.
My most recent visit to Home Depot in Parker restored much of my faith in this establishment. I need an adapter for a project right away. A quick internet search pointed me to Home Depot. I called the Parker one, picked the department I needed, and my call was answered on the second ring. The guy located what I wanted and set it aside for me (it was the last one in stock). 15 minutes later, I picked it up from the desk, purchased it at the self check kiosk, and was out the door.

Really, I was told when I called that there was no one available to help me with a question about whether or not they carry a certain product. Great customer service.

Between Lowes and Parker Sprinkler and Pond Supplies, this was the only one of the three that had what I needed for a drip system for the 1800′ of wind break trees that I’m planting. I actually got great help while there today too. That’s not usually the case so they get 4 stars overall but, 5 stars for my experience today! Parker Sprinkler was at least twice the price.

If Lowe’s doesn’t have it, this is my second stop. I appreciate that I am usually asked if I am finding everything okay at least once when I’m here. I usually don’t have to go looking far for help, which is always a plus. My biggest complaint is the lack of choices this place offers. Sure they have what I’m looking for, but do they only have one kind or do I get a choice? Usually they only have one or two for me to choose from. The garden center here is okay. Plants seem sufficiently watered, although again the selection isn’t grand.
