Planet Beach

Great place, friendly and helpful staff and I’m happy with what I paid and the result I got after my first session. I’m just looking for a couple of tanning sessions to get a bit of color and wanted to pay cash as I go and pay a reasonable price for a low power (old style) bed. And Planet Beach was the place. Sign up took 5 minutes. The cost was $ 11 and some change for up to 20 minutes, the place was nice and the ladies were very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

They got me in there with free hydrotherapy massage but I wanted to try all the spa services so I paid for 1 month. After a week, I’ve now decided to upgrade to 4 months. Along with all the tanning options (that I don’t use) they also have teeth whitening (which I don’t use). I’m really enjoying the spa type services they offer. Everything (except teeth whitening) is included in the monthly fee and I can go every day if I want to.
After my first week I’m already feeling better physically — and feeling so relaxed. The manager, Brandy, is very helpful and will explain things for as long as I want. She’s not the least bit pushy about paying for more months or getting other people to come in. All the young ladies that work there are sweet, friendly and helpful and they keep things very clean. I’m so glad I decided to check this place out!

I tried this Planet Beach after purchasing a Groupon for 9 sessions for $ 39 — which is an amazing deal. The whole concept of PB is that it is a contempo spa, so everything is kind of do it yourself (so to speak). So, you can turn on the water massage and change the speed/​intensity as you lay there. Or you can get int he chair and turn on the lamps for the Luminous facial. Some things you will need the staff to actually ready for you and they will tell you what order you can go into things and when they are available, but there are no massage therapists or estheticians, just machines. It is an interesting concept and one I wanted to try.
They really do have a lot of different stuff. Tanning of all kinds (didn’t try), red light therapy, a slim capsule (like a lay down intense steam tanning like bed), saunatox (infrared sauna) and massage bed. All the equipment looked clean and was well taken care of. Plus the staff, especially the spa director Jen, was very friendly and informative.
For me, the Groupon was enough. I like the whole getting pampered aspect of spa-​ing and while the machines are OK, I prefer actual people. It is just a personal preference, I would suggest you go and try it and see if it is for you. It was fun for something new to try. I will warn that they have a cream or gel you can buy for every machine you go into to «enhance» the experience, this is my one knock. I just want to come in and get a facial or get a massage, not buy extras to get it. I will say however, they were never pushy about the items and I did decline using them.
At any rate, it was a nice spot, with clean equipment and a helpful staff.

I don’t know what I would do without this place! I signed up for the unlimited use of all the spa treatments and go two or three times a week. My favorite spa machine is easily the hydroderma fusion, which is a capsule I lay on and steam comes in all around me. Great detox and stress reliever! The bed also vibrates helping me to lose 500 – 600 calories just laying there! The hydromassage is another thing I can’t do without. Jennifer, Brandi, and Crystal are the best employees. They always try their best to get me in at the time I request and are always super accommodating and friendly when I’m there. If you are looking for a great way to relax besides just tan/​spray tan than this is the place! I highly, highly recommend it!

This place is a pretty well-​run establishment. Team members are nice here (at the Parker location) and is always clean. A little more expensive if you are just looking for tanning, but if you utilize other services it is well worth the money.

I have been to this Planet Beach location twice now. The rooms are always clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. They of course try to up-​sell you on products but when I declined they backed off right away, I appreciate this because pushy sales people turn me off. The last time I went I had the hydro-​derma fusion, hydro-​massage and the mystic tan. I loved the hydro-​derma fusion. They hydro-​massage was just okay, I wouldn’t do it again. This was my first time doing a Mystic tan and the ladies were great on explaining exactly what to do, and even what types of lotion to avoid after my massage.
I think the mystic gave me a great subtle tan for my vacation I went on. However my friend got her mystic at another salon at the same level and she turned out way more tan then me.
I will be coming back for more tans here when another vacation come around.

Good salon, clean, well kept, friendly staff, easy access. Not the cheapest, few giveaways but quality
