Parker Pediatrics is the original and most comprehensive pediatric practice in Douglas County. Founded in 1982, we provide services unparalleled by any other practice. Besides six pediatricians and three physician extenders, we have a full-​time child/​adolescent psychologist, registered dietitian and lactation consultant. We provide early morning, evening and Saturday hours. Our office is divided into well-​child and acute/​sick sides. We also provide e-​mail updates, parenting classes and are a certified Medical Home.

History

Established in 1982.

Parker Pediatrics and Adolescents was the first pediatric practice in Douglas County, started by Dr. Rabinowitz in 1982. In 1997, we moved to our present location in the Parker Healthcare Center. Since its inception, Parker Pediatrics has never had a doctor leave the practice, except for retirement! We’re proud to serve our growing community and we continue to volunteer our time for local institutions, such as schools, daycares and charitable concerns. We remain independent and not owned or managed by any healthcare organization.

Our philosophy is to provide total care for your growing child and help your child reach his or her maximum potential. As general pediatricians, we strive to serve our patients in all areas of healthcare including well care, sick care, urgent care, chronic illness, disabilities and psychosocial problems. We believe strongly in preventative medicine and prescribe medicines only when necessary.
