Mountain Man Nut & Fruit

I really have to stay out of here. There is no reason for me to spend $ 50 on snacks but I just can’t help it when I make it to this store. Coconut stacks, chocolate covered you name it. all your little candy dreams. They also have a wide variety of snack mixes, nuts, pretzels & popcorn… mmm
If you’re a knick knack person, this place will make you salivate with all of it’s homegrown items.

Mountain Man nut is a staple in Parker… I still miss it being on Mainstreet but the new location means there is more to chose from. It is also one of the spots where you can get Parker souvenirs. If you need a spot to get a yummy gift, this is the place.
I can always find unique fun things for the Christmas Stockings and the Easter Baskets so for sure I visit at least twice a year.

Alpine Mints.
I passed by this place I don’t know how many times over the last 6 years that I lived in Parker, and even when they had the store downtown, just never got around to stopping in. A couple of years ago, they closed their Main Street store and now operate a store front out of their warehouse. In a way, I’m kind of glad I hadn’t come in before… because who knows how many pounds I would have gained scarfing their tasty Alpine Mints.
I was really surprised by the amount of store front space; I thought it would be much smaller. Also, there was a variety of quirky gifts lining the shelves, in addition to the massive display of their product. I had a hard time deciding, but in the end, walked out with some of the Alpine Mints and their Crispy Garlic Chips. Previously, I had tried the Canyon Crunch on a Frontier flight and I really liked it. I’ve always been one to pick all the rye rounds out of Chex Mix bag, so I was THRILLED to see that they had a whole bag of them.
In any case, the staff was friendly and helpful answering my questions. I will most likely bring visitors from out of town here from now on, because they’ve got so many local products. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still stuff Made in China in their displays. The only drawback I can see here is that some of the product is a little pricey, but you have to remember what you are supporting… so I don’t mind paying a little more. I’d give them 5 stars but I think they space they are in could use to be re-​decorated.
