Get Wet Rentals

My family and I rented a boat for memorial day weekend and the customer service was excellent. Price was reasonable and they were very helpful to answer any of our questions. When we return our boat they notice that we had made a dent in the boat not very significant and they just told us that it will be ok and that is fixable. I’m sure that any other place will automatically charge us no questions asks. Thank you for your help and for being cool about the incident.

I just wanted to say thank you so much Shayla for an excellent experience at get wet I rented a JetSki for the whole day it was fantastic they dropped it off they picked it up I didn’t have to worry about anything it was an awesome time can’t wait to do it again the price was so great. Excellent customer service from the time that I called on the phone to the time that they picked it up excellent excellent service. Can’t wait to do it all over again. Thanks for the wonderful experience can’t wait to see you again. Highly recommended!

WORST RENTAL EVER, We rented a pontoon boat that ran out of gas 20min into trip, got towed to a gas dock filled up then the battery died!!! called the rental place and they came out to help but said they would waive the 300.00 rescue fee… then tried to charge us for a messed up prop that DID get messed up but only because we RAN OUT OF GAS and was trying to keep the boat from running aground into the rock because we RAN OUT OF GAS!!!
when you rent a boat for the day it should have a full tank of gas and a decent battery. not a ¹⁄₈ tank of gas and a 5yr old battery… THANKS GET WET RENTALS!

We rented two kayaks last summer, and had such a great experience! The owner gave us a great rate, and was very flexible with the pick-​up and drop-​off times. We took the kayaks in the afternoon, wanting to use them the next day, and didn’t have to return them until the following night. We would definitely rent from them again, very friendly and willing to work with you (especially on the price)!

We camp at the Colorado River in Parker a few times a year… This was our 3^rd time renting Jet Skis from Get Wet, and every time it has been a 5 stars experience. They are a family owned business and truly make customer service a priority… Fast and friendly people and jet skis :) They also allow 24 hour rentals for a small additional charge (to the 8 hour rate). They are the only rental place that allows this, and this is what we go for every time. It’s the best deal and best way to maximize your time on the river. At 1 point, we lost the jet skis key and they gave us a new one immediately… No charge. When we returned the jet skis, they gave us a ride back to our campground (because our car wouldn’t start!)… No charge! They are the best!

DO NOT USE PHONE GPS– CALL FOR DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS! We called to rent jet-​skis on a very short notice (2 hours) and they were very accommodating! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful throughout the paperwork and life vest fitting. The process went smoothly and we followed her down to the dock and got in the water. She came back and picked up everything two hours later with no surprises. We paid $ 100 each for two seaters which was a great deal for the area as well as gas use at the end of the rental. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will be back in the future!

This place does NOT deserve even a one star! This place is horrible, please STAY AWAY!!! We rented two jet ski’s (two seater) for four people. Sheala (owner) showed us the jet ski’s and stated, «we tested them yesterday to make sure nothing is wrong with them», she went over all the paperwork with us and never mentioned a deposit was needed.
Within the first 30min of riding the jet ski’s we had to return to the loading dock, because one was so unstable and could not be maneuvered that as soon as the first wave hit us it took us under. The steering was horrible! We’ve owned jet ski’s in the past and these rentals are garbage! The other jet ski’s bumper was falling off and the steering was also not to par, but not as bad as the first one.
When they arrived at the loading dock to pick up the jet ski’s, we explained what we had experienced. Eric (owner…sheala’s husband) says, «well, you wouldn’t ride a dirt bike with two people.» REALLY keep in mind… these are two seater jet ski’s!!! When Sheala saw the bumper was falling off she says, «this needs to go back to the shop». So they offer us a pontoon instead and we shouldn’t have but we did. When we got back we thought they’d make it right because of their garbage rentals they wasted two hours of our day. We filled up the pontoon with gas then we went back to their shop. Eric says that they can’t give us a refund for the difference from the pontoon and jet ski’s that because of us they couldn’t rent out the two jet ski’s and that he didn’t have time to argue with us. Are you freaken serious!!! Sheala gives us a receipt and says, «here’s the receipt for your $ 700 deposit»…WAIT…what deposit??? NEVER WAS THERE A MENTION OF A DEPOSIT!!! So shady! Will never rent from them again!!! Lesson learned!

This is NOT the place to rent from. The equipment is in poor shape, old and tattered. The owner does not know how to treat people. After renting 2 jet skis for 4 people, we had trouble maneuvering and were told, «you wouldn’t ride 2 riders on a dirt bike.» They exchanged jet skis for a pontoon boat. The only thing that worked on it was the fuel gauge, thank goodness. The price of the pontoon was suppose to be less than the jet skis but when we were finished, we had to pay to top it off then went to see about a refund of the difference and were told, «I don’t have time to argue with you.»
Wish we had read reviews on Unilocal before we stopped at this place!

We have just experienced the biggest ripoff ever. DONT ever go to this place to rent water equipment. Very poorly treated we will return to Parker but would NEVER go to this place again
They never told us a deposit was required. And they hand wrote onto the slip 700 and never even told us. I am in the service for over 30 yrs I would never treat a customer they way we were treated

DUMPY BROKEN RENTALS, NO MAINT, BAD SERVICE!
Yes, they are probably a few bucks less than the rest but for a few bucks you will get a watercraft that will have gauges that work, not completely scratched and cracked all over, seats not torn and reverse may even work.
We rented from this outfit and here is the lowdown:
#1. bad response to phone calls and followup. I get it, its summer and its busy, but i called at 3 pm for a rental the next day and had to follow up over 2 hours when she said i will call you back in 10 or so minutes.
#2. When they showed up, the jet ski was in really bad shape. the family just wanted something to play with and i just bit the bullet, but these things are in rough shape. i should have just said ‘no’ and went with my gut, but i got it anyway. turns out the gas gauge was broken, the low gas alarm was out, reverse was disabled because as the owner said, «people just don’t know how to use it, so we disabled it.»
#3. Because the gas gauge was broken, i didn’t know that she was lying when she said the gas was full. it was not!!! I took my kid out for the first run and when i went from one dam to the other for a nice long ride, we ran out of gas at the far end of parker dam. there must have been only one or two gallons in it.
#4. I called them and told them we were stranded with no gas an hour after renting it with a supposed full tank and she said they would be out there. i gave an address where a local hung out with us till they arrived. 2 to 3 hours later they showed after countless calls. they gave us 2 gallons of gas and off we went to fill it up.
#5. the owner, Cheala said that she would reimburse me for the gas and give me ½ off the rental for the day. It was a trade off, but at least i had another 4 hours of use on it and its only fair to pay something. Nothing is free. but the catch is this. After giving her the receipt for $ 100 in gas, she charged my card the full amount and we played phone tag and txt message games that she was working on the refund. Every excuse, from not knowing how to issue a refund, to «its the merchant processors fault, to «i am in labor, i will do it next week!». I ended up charging it back on my CC and see what happens there. I saved all the emails and txt’s and we will see what happens.
Overall, this outfit is very unprofessional, they are just a couple that buys or has beat up boats and jet skis and rents them over and over, and does no maintenance or fixes things once they break. Feel free to take a look at the thing in person before renting… I assure you, its a mess and beat to shreds. you will not want to spend good money to rent it after seeing it… pictures do not do it justice, see for yourself then be the judge. if looks were the only thing, then keep in mind that much of the equipment is old and not maintained and has a very good chance of leaving you stranded. IS THAT HOW YOU WANT TO SPEND THE WEEKEND??? spend an extra $ 20 or $ 40 bucks and get something you will truly enjoy… Read the rest of the comments, and judge for yourself…

When you reserve a boat and jetski 3 months in advance you would expect to get what you booked or at least a phone call explaining they can no longer accommodate you. We did get the boat and we had problem after problem to the point they had to take the boat back on the second day. Did they give us a replacement no so we were stuck with no boat. Then the next morning we got another boat and were suppose to have a jetski as well and they told us by noon. So we went out on the boat and had fun. 2 pm and no jetski so we called only to hear all there jetskis are broken and they had no other skis. We ended up renting from the casino. We have rented from get wet in the past but this years experience was horrible. Yes they are friendly but no one wants to reserve 3 months out and get excited and then get broken run down equipment that your spending your vacation time dead in the water instead of having fun.

Went in to see about renting a couple of kayaks and Erik was very nice and made me a great deal for the week.

I have to say thanks to Eric for helping and being an overall cool guy when I needed help with my Sea Doo boat. I thought my right engine was failing when it was only a piece of wood lodged in my jet intake. Eric quickly assessed the situation, pooked a crowbar in there, dislodged the pieced of wood and we were back on the water.
Seriously, he could told me anything and probably charged me whatever, but he didn’t. Thanks for your honesty and professionalism Eric. Very few mechanics are like you my friend. See ya soon — hopefully at Roadrunners this next time though. lol.

This is the BEST place I have ever rented from. We have been renting boats and jet skis from them for years. They are very friendly and honest. When you have a time set up for them to come get you they’re on time. The rigs are well-​taken care of. Definitely recommend. Wouldn’t go anywhere else if in Parker!

Shayla was great hope i spelled her name right lol we rented a pontoon boat for a day saturday and was a very rough day for us on the lake things did not go right at all but she was there to help us when ever we called and she had to come out and help us there is a fee to do that and our day was so bad she waved the fee found out she is from where we live and her brother still lives here would rent from them again if ever there thanks again and sorry to have been such a pain

I would not recommend this watercraft rental business to anyone. I had made arrangements and negotiated a pontoon rental for the week but Eric was reluctant in honoring and referred me to Arizona Watercraft, which ended up working out better.
Most of Get Wet’s pontoons are in poor shape and their entire shop is very unprofessional. Save yourself from disappointment and pass on these folks.

Eric and Shayla are amazing. We have not only rented from Get Wet Rentals but they have been so very helpful in troubleshooting and repairs on our jet skis. They always go above and beyond in their customer service. We are looking forward to renting the green ski boat. Thanks for all you do.

WARNING***DO NOT PATRON THIS BUSINESS****
We have been renting boats, jet-​skis and watercraft for the last 8 years for an annual dad/​kids camping trip. Typically, we rent from Wet Monkey Rentals, which is a well run/​respectable business. However this year, one of the dads tried Get Wet… BAD MOVE!!!
We rented 2 skis, (which were pretty beat up). Halfway through the 1^st day, one of the skis broke down on us. They came to the campsite, p/​u the broken ski, but did not give a replacement… We called the shop to find out as to why they didn’t bring a replacement and when they’ll bring one. The guy (owner we presume) said he’s not bringing a ski, that he wont bring a replacement because he didn’t like our tone (due to frustration) and that we would hear from his lawyer/​see us in court because the ski had been flipped/​water entered the motor heads and ruined the ski…
Long story short, no go for sure.

They don’t even deserve one star… I went to rent two three seater wave runners. I was asking to rent for two days. It was 1pm in the afternoon. When I arrived the owner was not their and some guy (im assuming it was her husband) said she was on her way shortly if we could wait. I said yes. Then 15 minutes later the guy tells us «it’s too late to dock and we need to have a life too». I was so pist! How unprofessional!!! After we waited and then he adds «we have to have a life too» I was like wow… what bad business!!! I will never rent from here or recommend anyone else to either!

I do not recommend this place. they didn’t provide the watercraft that I asked for in the agreement and then they added up frivolous and unreasonable charges on my bill. Never gave me a receipt. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. The owner left me at the launch ramp stranded. Recommend anywhere but this joke of a business! Telling all my many friends and family to avoid this place.
