Briargate on Main

I highly recommend Briargate apartments !! The apartments are very nice, its in a great location and the neighbors are all very nice and friendly. The property management staff are often very busy but they are always very friendly and helpful. We made requests for everything from new lightbulbs for the outside lights to refrigerator repairs, and the response/​fix was always fast and well done. Two thumbs up!

These apartments are not cheap, you would expect some good management. Well, I was wrong. We called to have several things fixed in the apartment, they came one time. There are dog poops everywhere which is disgusting. We asked for the sensor for the main gate and they always ran out. They are quick to tow your car but not so quick to fix anything. We are so fed up, we can barely stand it after living there for three months. Look somewhere else.

I have lived at Briargate on Main for 8 months now and will not be renewing my lease this upcoming spring. Property management is a real issue here that has not been addressed for as long as I have rented an apartment from them. Some examples of how poorly this property treats its residents are as follows:
1.) You will rarely find BOTH paper towels and hand soap stocked in the common bathrooms in the club house. When you are lucky enough to find both in stock it is because the toilet has been overflowed and nobody has bothered to fix the situation.
2.) At least one piece of workout equipment in the common gym will always be Out of Order and will continue to be broken for 6 weeks or longer.
3.) If a catastrophic event occurs within your apartment building (Ex: A water pipe bursts in the second floor unit), you will not be informed of the situation by the front office. When you call the front office to report water damage they act dumbfounded and then realize they knew of the incident earlier that day.
The walls at Briargate are paper thin enough so that you can hear your neighbors go to the bathroom. For the price you pay to live at this apartment and how poorly those funds are managed to provide «luxuries» to the community should be a red flag to any renter. BEWARE!!!
