Affinity for Music is a Denver Wedding DJ company locally owned and operated in Parker, Colorado. We specialize in Colorado Weddings, Corporate Events, and Private Parties. We always send a DJ/​MC team of two to every event which provides you with event coordination that other DJ companies can’t provide. Owners Tom and Melissa O’Malley get to know all your reception needs and details so you can enjoy your day. We provide microphones, free lights to accompany the dancing, and access to a library of over 50,000 songs. Plus, clients are given access to our convenient online planning center!

History

Established in 2002.

Tom and Melissa O’Malley started Affinity for Music shortly after getting married. Setting out with the unique DJ/​MC team of two, Affinity for Music quickly gained the praise of clients and fellow wedding vendors by providing excellent customer service and professional entertainment. While getting to know each client personally, every event is unique, elegant, and fun! We’ve spent the last 8 years making hundrends of events unforgettable.

Business Owner

Tom O’Malley is the founder and co-​owner of Affinity for Music. While receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from CSU, Tom worked part-​time as a mobile wedding DJ and an on-​air radio DJ. After marrying his wife Melissa, the two of them decided to start their own mobile DJ company in Parker, Colorado. Tom gathered all his DJ experience from radio, clubs, and special events to combine with the organizational skills of Melissa to accomplish a unique DJ service. Within a year, they were recommended vendors at elite venues such as the Sanctuary, and quickly gained the respect of fellow wedding vendors.
