Miguel did such an amazing job for our Brooklyn wedding in April 2016! He’s so knowledgable about so many different kinds of flowers, and when I showed him a photo of the type of bouquet I wanted, he not only met it but made it better. I’ve had so many people tell me how beautiful the flowers were. And he really charges fair prices and is such a pleasure to work with. Don’t be deterred by the fact that he doesn’t have a traditional florist storefront– he is a true professional that goes above and beyond. He dropped off our bouquets/​boutonnieres at our apartment, the ceremony flowers at St. Saviour, and the reception flowers at the Picnic House in Prospect Park, and he was on time at each of them. We just loved him!

I order a get well bouquet for same day delivery. I ordered over the phone, which I was ambivalent about since I’ve had very disappointing experiences in the past with flower shops and delivery– the whole «you never know what you’re going to get.»
I spoke directly to Miguel who let me name my price and worked with me to make a bouquet in that price range– including tax and delivery! He was more then happy to answer all of my questions and describe different bouquet options. He was also happy to work with me to deliver the flowers at the latest time possible (remember-​same day too!) (and when I knew the recipient would be home). I asked if he would text me a picture of the flowers once completed and a few hours later I got 360 degree pictures of a gorgeous spring bouquet!
The flowers were delivered, the recipient was home to receive them, and everyone was happy!
Miguel is fair, pleasant to work with, and you can be sure to get a high quality product!

Miguel is THE BEST! I needed to get a traditional graduation lei made asap, because I missed the shipment deadline in Hawaii. And since it was after 8pm, all the flower shops had already shuttered their doors — or so I thought. I called up Miguel at The Rose Garden, and didn’t get an answer. I was sure I was doomed. But he promptly called me back and listened to my worries on needing this random floral ornament by the next afternoon. And since I’ve never ordered a lei from an east coast shop, I really wasn’t sure he could pull through. But he reassured me and even sent photos of the exact flowers I needed. But even so, I was still nervous.
So the next afternoon, I met him in his basement shop and was elated at the amazing job he had done on the graduation lei. He is truly a life saver! I definitely will recommend him to all my friends: D :D :D

Up until the week before my wedding, my bridesmaids and I were planning on doing some very simple flowers for the ceremony ourselves. Eventually, though, as we were working on scheduling, we realized that it was going to be a major stress and could possibly go very wrong. However, we had a very limited budget for flowers, and weren’t sure how we’d be able to get flowers that we’d like without doubling or even tripling that budget.
Enter the Rose Garden. My mother found them through Unilocal,and when she told me what their rates were I immediately assumed something was wrong, because they were easily half everywhere else we were looking. But when I saw the super-​positive reviews, I felt much more comfortable with it.
Miguel was such a pleasure to work with. My initial meeting with him lasted maybe 10 minutes, because I just showed him photos of the bouquet we liked online and his response was «yes, we can do that.» And not only was he able to replicate the bouquet perfectly, he also created variations on it for the bridesmaids’ bouquets, the groom’s and groomsmen’s boutonnieres, and flowers for the chuppah. Miguel made one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning into one of the easiest and most successful, and I’ve already started recommending him to friends.

I should have placed this review a few years back. Miguel did my daughter’s wedding in Red Hook and everything was perfect. He selects really beautiful blooms, and his prices are amazing. He is a charming, patient person and I highly recommend him. He did cleanup at the end of the reception too, since that was a requirement.

I called Miguel and explained that I wanted a tall bouquet of flowers with fall colors as a gift. He put it together quickly, the finished product was just beautiful — exactly what I wanted — and the price was great! I don’t write reviews often but felt compelled to say how happy I was with my experience with Miguel. I would 100% recommend his services.

I will absolutely use Rose Garden again. I called to get a birthday bouquet delivered with 24 hours notice, I only provided a price point and the delivery info and hoped for the best. The Rose Garden did a great job and the flowers looked awesome. Great job!!!

I called at 11am CA time to have him deliver a VERY special arrangement to my friends who were having a surprise wedding. As I am in CA and they are in Brooklyn it was important to send something very nice. The Rose Garden took great care of me and my friend!
The bride told me it took them a long time to figure who they were from because the card got lost in the BIG bouquet.

We got married at The Boathouse in Prospect Park — it was really helpful that he had worked in the venue several times before, and knew his way around.
I gave Miguel inspiration images for my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony décor. I provided most of my vases and buckets to save on costs, and Miguel was happy to store everything (about 5 large boxes!) for 4 months.
For my ceremony, we had buckets of babys breath lining the aisles, two very large arrangements at the ‘alter’, and he made a beautiful garland of orchids.
My centerpieces were mini arrangements (8 per table, x 10 tables) of all white, mixed bloom flowers.
We met a few different times to talk about my vision, in season flowers, comparable swaps, and he provided quotes and notes of our meeting each time.
Miguel was such a pleasure to work with, and I felt he went above and beyond to get us the best flowers he could at the best cost.
A week later, and my apartment is FULL of flowers from our wedding day :)
Miguel required a small $ 100 deposit to hold my date, and didn’t ask for anything else until the week of the wedding. He truly was such a pleasure to work with — so patient with all of my questions, and did an incredible job.
Please put Miguel on your short list for flowers — you won’t regret it!

I chose The Rose Garden to do my wedding bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres based on their affordable price point and previous positive reviews. Working with Miguel was great! He is super knowledgeable, friendly, open to suggestions and filled with ideas.
Poor Miguel – I overloaded him with many photos of ideas I found on Pinterest… and to my surprise, my flowers (ALL OF THEM) turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! He delivered exactly on time and everything was gorgeous! As soon as I receive my photos, I will post them here.

Miguel was extraordinary to work with. He completely understood what I wanted for wedding flowers, and worked within my budget to get what I wanted at an affordable price. He was always timely and responsive to my calls and emails, and he was punctual to all of our meetings.

just an update. ordered for my anniversary and Miguel blew me away.
we arrived home to see a dinky bouquet (with carnations!) at the door. I called Miguel, thinking he’d delivered it. I was going to ask what happened because I expected more.
But before I could say anything He apologized for not having delivered yet! The dinky bouquet was from my parents! Miguel arrived twenty minutes later with a giant, amazing, beautiful arrangement. top notch.

We ordered Several arrangements for a memorial service this past weekend and were blown away by what we received. We met with Miguel and gave him our budget (which was modest) and a few inspiration photos and let him create something he thought was appropriate for the event.
When I received the flowers I was not only impressed by the sophisticated color combinations but also the quality of the flowers. They were not cheap and it was apparent that he did his absolute best with what we gave him to work with!
He truly delivered and was always extremely friendly and accommodating. Would recommend ¹⁰⁄₁₀!

I called Miquel about having flower arrangements made and delivered for my daughter’s bridal shower. The flowers were quite beautiful and set the tone for a great time with friends and family. I couldn’t have been more pleased, (and the phone calls don’t stop coming about where I got such fabulous flowers!!!)

Miguel did the flowers for my wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. My bouquet, the boutonieers, center pieces, corsages were really, really beautiful. I was thrilled. Miguel did great work and is a patient and good listener who interpreted my wishes into reality (and on budget).

Called the day before my daughter’s graduation (very last minute) to inquire about having a lei made. I called a few places, sent a few emails… Miguel answered my call on the 2^nd ring. He was friendly and told me he would make a beautiful lei for the next day and he would have it ready by noon (less than 24 hours). I had to purchased over the phone, relying on our conversation only, site unseen. The price was $ 60 ($ 65 with tax) — which I though was fair. The next day we picked up the lei and it was perfect. Miguel came through and did a great job. My in-​laws picked up a bouquet also while we were there picking up the lei — which was also beautiful. I recommend highly Miguel.

I called Miguel the day of, 2 hours before I needed delivery and he had suggestions within minutes. He arranged a beautiful personalized bouquet on one of the busiest weekends (Mother’s Day) and had it delivered within 2 hours– all for a great price. Will definitely be back!

I can’t rave enough about Miguel and his work. I absolutely loved the 13 centerpieces he created for my wedding. He took my vague vision of «wild» and «rustic» and transformed it into beautiful pieces that were exactly what I wanted. He had great taste and gently steered me towards some better decisions. Tons of people complimented me on the centerpieces at the wedding — it really brightened up the room (which was the Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden). Miguel was a super duper sweetheart to work with– very sunny personality. His prices are terrific (half of what I found elsewhere) and doesn’t charge you extra just because it’s wedding.
