Uptown Girlz of Park Ridge

We don’t live in Park Ridge but I needed a dress for a wedding and remembered that Uptown Girlz had a wonderful selection. Mary Beth was amazing! She selected several dresses for me and I chose a few too. I also picked out a few summer sweaters from the clearance rack. She was honest and told me which ones were flattering and which were not. I ended up buying 4 dresses a top and two sweaters — gorgeous! I felt that the prices were very reasonable and the sale rack was incredible. So happy with my purchase, such excellent service and really beautiful clothes. As we were leaving I saw a jacket in the window I loved. Can’t wait to go back!

I went here yesterday with some friends. GREAT place. Unique clothing, purses, jewelry, gifts, sunglasses — great sales –and there is even toys and SHOES. The people working in the store are very helpful. I was deciding between two tops and the gal said «you are blond — so bright colors look best» — She was right — the black and white I was trying didn’t look as good the pink. They have a great sale going on 25% off regular merchandise. They carry Karen Kane, Kutt jeans, North Face and have a huge selection of dresses — –in all sizes — NOT just size 4 – 6! You can tell they want people to find something special that not everyone at the next event will look the same. The next time I need a dress or something fun — I’m skipping the box stores and heading up to this store —- My favorite thing I bought — besides the long shorts and fun T for 4^th of July — a under garment in white with ruching (I looked it up – that’s how you spell it!!) really hides muffin or rolls… cute colors — I wish I could have added the orange one — great selection of foundation to go under things. I’m telling all my friends to check it out!!!

i can’t stand these people! i thought i would try this place again now that it has new ownership. the saleswomen are snobs walking around with customers as their personal shoppers. i stood at the register, and yes they saw me, for at least 5 minutes as they walked around with other customers saying «isn’t this cute» «these are new»… will never ever go back (and i like supporting local businesses-​not this one!)
