We were staying in a local hotel and they delivered a few NY style pies here. Excellent crust and outstanding pepperoni. Kids loved it. Service was quick and friendly and pizza was good.

Average at best, and now it seems like they’ve become accustomed to giving crummy service as of late. Any kind of special requests seem to be scoffed at. Picking up isn’t the most pleasant experience anymore either. I used to eat here all the time when I was in high school, and now things have changed for the worse. The pizza is decent, but don’t expect it with a smile.

Good pizza! If you’re ordering garlic beware! They used the entire jar of minced garlic other then that, it was very good

Got the family feast from here(wings, mozzarella sticks, chicken parm hero, and a large plain pie) Wings looked like they grabbed something from the far back of the freezer, fried it, and poured some watery hot/buffalo sauce one it. It was watery and oily at the same time, yuck! Mozzarella sticks looked like they came frozen from a box then baked. As in you could probably get this from Costco and make yourself. The chicken parm was decent. The plain pizza was just that, plain dough, plain sauce, and plain cheese. Definitely never ordering from this place again(at least not from the pizza side).

I pretty much grew up ordering mainly pizza from Marc’s. So it was a blast from the past when I came here last weekend to pick up a pie. I was surprised by the renovations that were done to the place — I’m impressed. It still looks like a pizza place/deli, but definitely an upgrade from what it was. The pizza is good, but there are other places that I prefer only because I like thin crust pizza better. But this is pretty decent pizza and it is quick and easy! The sandwiches here are good too. They are pretty consistent with the quality and they always have coupons! I am definitely a fan even though it is nothing too out of the ordinary. The parking situation is only street parking — they do not have a parking lot. So be ready to parallel park! YIKES!

I stopped by here recently off of a friend’s suggestion of the best buffalo chicken slice he’s ever had. I think that I may have to trust my friend less now. If you’re driving here from Pascack Road, be careful because you might easily pass Marc’s. There’s a parking lot before it but I don’t think that it belongs to them. There’s a sloping driveway right after it but a delivery car’s usually there. I ended up parking on the street slightly ahead of it. There’s a post office next door but I didn’t wanna risk getting a ticket. When entering Marc’s, you should know that there are a few steps. and then a few more to step up to the deli counter on the left(or go straight to the pizza area in the back). This could be an issue for the elderly or physically handicapped(no ramp). The slices are kinda big. The dough’s light, fluffy. The cheese and sauce are okay. I ordered the buffalo chicken and BBQ chicken slices. Even after they heated them for a while, they were just kinda okay. For $ 4 a slice, I expected larger slices and more chicken. I haven’t seen many other places make a BBQ chicken slice but I still prefer Mangiamo’s and Anthony Franco’s for their buffalo chicken slices. Here, the buffalo chicken slice does have marinara sauce(some people dig it, some dislike it, I don’t mind it). I’m usually not in this area so maybe this is the best place for locals but I didn’t love it.

I mostly go to Marc’s for their sandwiches which are always made to order(no pre-sliced deli meats) and are over stuffed. Italian combo has to be their best sandwich, but their prosciutto and fresh mozzarella is a true Italian delight. However you want your sandwiches made, they will gladly make them for you. Recently I ordered a three foot Italian hero and two trays of eggplant parm for a family party and both were gone in a flash. Next family party, I’m ordering a six foot hero so I’ll have leftovers. Nice to have a local deli/pizzeria where everyone who walks in there is from town and is recognized.

Marc’s is our go-to place for sandwiches on the weekends/weeknights. Love their Italian panini and most recently tried the Italian hero. The pepper spread/mix on the sandwich was flavorful and lent a certain amount of heat that really made the sandwich. Tried the cheesesteaks in the past, and while they’re good, they could use a little more ooey gooey cheese. Who doesn’t like more cheese? Overall, very happy to have this close by. One thing I wish they would ramp up is their dessert offerings. Other than a few meager pre-wrapped cookies, they don’t have anything. While I appreciate Marc’s keeping from consuming additional calories, nothing completes a meal like something sweet.

Marcs was everyone’s go to spot in high school. Its been 15 years and I still have not found a Buffalo Chicken slice that rivals Marc’s. The white pizza is really solid too. Now that I’ve moved back to the area, Marc’s is one of several establishments I’m happy to revisit.

Grabbed a pizza for take out, and was very happy with the result! I was bereft when Marcy’s closed, and this is the closest I’ve found to that level of yummy! Quick and easy service, friendly folks.

Bulky Boar’s Head sandwich. Four Stars for that. The Spanish dude who made my sandwich had a bit of an attitude and forgot the onions. Lowered to 3 stars because of the onions. Don’t care about the attitude.

Emphasis way more on the«deli» than the«pizza» at Marc’s Deli and Pizza. If you’re looking for the best pizza around … This is Jersey and u can find better for sure but as far as delis and Penne and Vodka and catering and some other Italian specialties… Marc’s is pretty famous around here for sure. It’s the neighborhood’s deli! Th friendliest place in town! Police, dpw, teachers, students, families. Teams, name it. Directly located next to PRHS. Their catering is excellent. They used to cater for the Sopranos every week when they taped the shows. Staff has been around forever. Marc is the man! A class act and one of the nicest an friendliest dudes in PR. Pizza wise. Their pasta, buffalo chicken and white slices are worth ordering. The penne a la vodka here has been my favorite for a long long time. It’s Marc’s best kept secret. His other super secret sleeper is his prosciutto sandwich. He has two types. Ask for the good stuff. The more expensive one. All his sandwiches are awesome. The breakfast ones too! This is a PR staple and Marc is a huge part of this community for like 20 plus years already… And I’ve been eating here since the 7th grade.

Delicious pizza slices and amazing sandwiches. They do not skimp out on their meat! Tip: don’t come here on the weekends, as they run out of some ingredients. I ordered a chicken ranch sandwich and they ran out of ranch dressing.

I was thoroughly disgusted. I really am an easy person to please, however today when I walked in to Marc’s deli will certainly be my last time. I had an extremely easy request for an egg salad wrap… Being a patron who pays close attention to cleanliness… I immediately noticed every person behind the counter does not wear gloves… Not only do they handle all the food with their bare hands… But the gentleman who was making my order handled the dirty money and ran his hands through his hair in the middle of my order to ring someone up. I did not say a word, I bought my food, left without embarrassing anyone, walked out and though my sandwich out in the garbage can outside the post office. It’s flu season people!!! Invest in a box of gloves for all employees to wear. officially grossed out!!!

Locals love this place, just saw a man walk out holding an armload of sandwiches, and dash across the street almost getting hit by a car on the busy street outside. I ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich which is actually not on the menu, but really fine. There were plenty of seats in the front of the deli, to enjoy the sandwich, but it wasn’t so noisy and busy, which made it hard to relax and enjoy.

Went in here with no expectations, left knowing I’ll be back. Externally, looks like any random deli you’d pass by on the road and think nothing of — think again. Big ass sandwiches for $ 7, plus good cheese for 50 cents. Fresh soft bread. Quality meats. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Happy Steve I’ve only had a cold sandwich so far and no nothing about the hot subs, but will definitely give them and other items from this little gem a try.

This place really deserves five stars, if you consider the value you get. The cold sandwiches are delicious. They pack on the meat and toppings and I never pay more than $ 8 for a sub. The quality, taste, and value of the subs make this place a 5 star place. The hot sandwiches are a little disappointing. They taste fine, but they’re nothing special — they don’t stand out from what you can get from other delis in the area. The pizza is also good and worth trying. Not amazing, but probably one of the best in the area. Service is always friendly. They offer you samples of their salads if you ask them. It’s a true small town neighborhood deli. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend it. Just a FYI — the guy who works on weekday nights isn’t exactly the cleanest guy. I’ve seen him use the cleaning solution to clean the meat slicer, and then proceed to use his hands without gloves or washing with soap to make someone a sandwich. The guy who works lunch is pretty good about wearing gloves or washing his hands.

Marc(yes) has run this pizzeria/deli for about 20 years now and I’ve been a regular for most of it. Bar none, THEBEST subs I know of in NNJ! I don’t enjoy anyone else’s Italian sub more. The bread(especially the seeded), the thinly-sliced Boars Head cold cuts, and a good choice of classic toppings are top notch. But it’s the care and generous portions with which Marc and his friendly crew make each sandwich that makes them so special. Amazing sandwiches at fair prices, with a smile, are what have kept locals returning every day for so long. I hope this formula never changes. And the pizza is also quite good.
