Elements Massage

Martyna is the best! I have been going to her for 5+ years, and I followed her to this location. The location is clean and the staff is friendly.

Woke up with extreme neck pain. Called to see if they could fit me in the same day and of course they did! Had a great massage with Sarah and would recommend this place to anyone.

From the moment I walked in my body started to relax! The reception staff is calm and kind, the music, the cucumber water. Then the massage is always extra ordinarily healing. I’m overdue for my massage so gonna run and book it.

It was relaxing and professional. The front staff was friendly and inviting. The therapist Martyna was extremely knowledgable and talented. I loved everything about the establishment, and ended up buying a membership, best decision of my life!

I think all of the therapists who have provided services to me have been friendly, professional and in my opinion, all very good at what they do. I think their abilities enhance my health. And it has been a positive experience every time.

The only problem that I don’t like about this, when I called I have to wait 15mins, that person always put me on hold and at one point hang up on me. Disappointed already.
I came for my appointment and the receptionist was ok, not accommodating… always on the phone.
So was hoping my massage therapist will not disappointment me. She did not. It was pretty good.
I still have 2 sessions left that I bought in groupon. Hopefully my next visit will be much better.

My first time at Elements was great! My therapist Molly was amazing! I had given her a brief as to what I wanted her to work on and she was very knowledgable as to what I was talking about… (I had this strange pain behind my knee) She was very receptive of what I wanted and needed. Molly is professional and great at what she does… You won’t be disappointed…

Fantastic massage. One of the best I have ever had. My therapist asked how the pressure was and I felt great after. I told her I wanted a very DEEP massage and that is exactly what she did. The prices were great too. I will definitely be back.

I have been going here for a few years now as a member to Sharon who was simply amazing… Sadly, she is no longer at Elements but the 2 other massage therapists I have tried are really good, too. Mary is excellent and so is Abby! Its hard to decide which therapist to book, which really isnt a bad problem. Super nice at the front desk. I had some coupons for free upgrades to 90 min massages that i keep forgetting to bring in, and Jessica lets me get the upgrade anyways. Love going here!

Somehow just now saw Ralph’s response. Definitely made it easier to decide that I won’t go back!
Just called Elements, and spoke with a girl at the desk who confirmed that yes, certainly, I have been there, and my therapist (who I remember liking!) was named Mary.
So, to be clear, I have not been there since (I prefer Vive!, also in Park Ridge), but based on the owner’s aggressive response, I won’t be giving them another chance. Ralph, feel free to reach out to me personally, or call your front desk. I go by «Kate,» for short, and she had no problem finding me in your system.

This review is about the unfortunate receptionist service and not the quality of the services which they provide, which I have no problem with.
I got a Groupon from my boyfriend for Christmas and already had my first massage a few weeks ago. It was great. I was looking forward to the next massage. When I got there, it turned out that I made an appointment with a male masseuse. I made the appointment in person after my first massage, and the receptionist never mentioned that I was going to get the next massage with a male. She just said «you will have your next massage with Tina»… Apparently she said Tino not Tina. Tino is a very uncommon male name (at least I never met anyone named Tino,) so I would have never thought she was referring to a male. I know some people do not care and are comfortable with having a male masseuse, but I wasn’t.
It was an awkward moment and I had a shocked look on my face when he greeted me… «I didn’t realize you were a male», I blurted out. I felt bad for him because it wasn’t his fault and it’s just my preference to have a female masseuse. I wish the receptionist would have mentioned something when I scheduled the appointment, to avoid this awkward and unnecessary situation. I had to reschedule for another day. I still ended up giving him a tip because I felt bad and it really wasn’t his fault and I’m sure he is a great masseuse, but I just didn’t feel comfortable. They need to be a lot more clearer when they schedule a massage whether it’s a female or male masseuse. Not cool.

Just had the best massage ever with Martina. Great place, will be back soon! Met the owner Ralph and he was awesome too.

When the owner responded to my review with a free massage, I said, «that’s for me!» I made an appointment with one of the therapists he recommended and… It was fantastic!!! There were some serious knots to work out and Nancy did! AMAZING!
I noticed on my way out that the company has a best massage guarantee. So it turns out you don’t have to worry about a bad massage like I originally did.
At this point I’m considering the wellness program.

The people at the front desk were very polite. The masseuse was perfect. She was able to get all the knots out. Even in places I didn’t know were bad. They had a tiny chocolate for you before the massage and a bottle of water for right after. Overall, my experience was amazing. I will be going back.

Bought a Groupon to try this place. I wasn’t disappointed! For $ 129, I got 3 50-​minute massage sessions. Regular price for a 50-​minute session is $ 89…very expensive. However if you decide to join as a member, the new rate will be $ 59. Still slightly expensive compared to other places but you get what you pay for. I’m satisfied with the service and I definitely got my money’s worth!
Love the heated beds, so relaxing! The therapists I’ve had were both phenomenal.
Marlo was my therapist for the first 2 sessions and Martyna for the 3^rd. They’re both professional, efficient, and knowledgeable although I think I’ll go with Marlo. Her pressure level is exactly what I need. I like the oil that they use as well. Doesn’t stink and doesn’t stick to your clothes. I also like the little Dove chocolate they give you at the end. I’m such a sucker for chocolates. :)
Overall good value for your money. Looking forward to more massages!

The heated beds feel great. Every time I climb in there, I want to just take a nice nap! Background music is pleasant as are the massages. Massage therapists check in occasionally and adjust pressure accordingly. To prepare for deeper pressure, I’ve had a hot pack on my back while other areas are worked on. Staff is friendly and professional. Martyna is great so be happy if you get her. Price isn’t worth it unless you join their monthly member program… then the cost is similar to other places.

Brought my mom here for her birthday for our first massages ever. Staff was friendly and professional and we both felt wonderful and relaxed after. We also got to take advantage of a Unilocal deal and a first time customer discount which was fantastic. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I will most likely be returning!

Elements lived up to its reviews. Abby did an amazing job and it was extremely relaxing environment. I was looking for a specific focus on my quads, IT bands, and traps and Abby delivered. I feel great and will definitely be returning!

This was my first time here but will not be my last. I was referred to by my hairstylist Dana from DC Beauty Bar next door. And thank the lord she did. This was where I discovered Tino. I’ve never had a guy massage therapist before and was very embarrassed. I was close to changing my appointment. Thankfully I didn’t. I will continue to go by Tino. The massage was amazing and very relaxing. I’ve had plenty of massages and its dawned on me that I’ve never had a good massage until I discovered Tino!

After multiple bad experiences with Massage Envy, I was seriously looking for a massage membership without the lies and run-​around. My husband found elements and I booked an 80 minute sports massage to try the place out and see if membership was an option.
I had an 11am appointment and arrived 15 minutes early to complete an intake form. Upon entering, I was greeted by a quiet, calm atmosphere with music playing softly in the background. The best part was the please silence all cell phones sign. Who can relax with loud distractions? The front desk staff was welcoming and kind and did not push anything on me like I was nothing but a dollar sign.
After filling out my paperwork, I waited less than 5 minutes before Christopher came to get me. He was very welcoming and as he walked me back to the room, I was amazed at how large the space was given how small the front wait area is!
Before beginning, Christopher went over what I was looking for and let me know that everything was customizable from pressure to heat and the brightness of the room. Throughout the massage, he checked in regularly and also made sure I felt problem areas were worked enough.
The massage itself was incredible! I prefer a lot of pressure as my neck and back get very tight and cause headaches. After all massages, I expect to ache the next day and feel bruised. This was not the case at all! I felt great and relaxed!
Needless to say, I got the membership and can’t wait for my next appointment.
