History
Established in 2013.
The Torchlight Inn was a former guest house that was completely renovated in 2013. The inn sits across picturesque Main Street, Park City, with the world famous Park City Mountain Resort in the background. Chef Chris Munro is the owner and proprietor of the inn. A recent relocation from New England found Chris in her outdoor playground paradise. The Torchlight is directly across the street from the free public transit station and mountain bike trails run from the back deck of the Inn. Chris envisioned combining the charm and personal touch of a bed and breakfast with the comfort of a small boutique hotel. Breakfast is prepared daily to the guests specifications in the common lounge where you can relax and enjoy a delicious cup of fresh brewed coffee in front of the roaring wood fire. Each room has a panoramic view of beautiful downtown Park City and the world famous Park City Mountain Resort.
Meet the Business Owner
Chris M.
Business Owner
Chris fell in love with Park City on a ski vacation with her two favorite ski buddies (her sons) back in 2010. It was there she saw the potential of an old guest house that was in dire need of some tender loving care and decided to take the plunge, move across country, and renovate the property which is now the Torchlight Inn. A Johnson and Wales trained Chef, Chris owned and operated a catering business in Massachusetts for many years and brings her love of food and her knowledge of the foodservice business to every meal she prepares for her guests. A love of skiing, the outdoors, and just having a good time makes her proud to be a new «Parkite» as well as business owner in what she likes to call, «my little slice of Heaven».
