There are so many nail places to choose from and I will never go to this one again. Took my daughter here for a birthday pedi. The man who did mine was angry and rude and hurt my feet many times, jabbing his sharp thumbnail under my toenail to wipe the polish, and almost crushing my foot bones with his «massage». They constantly tried to up sell us and we walked out paying almost $ 100 for a two terrible pedicures and hot wax on our hands and feet.
On the plus side, the massage chairs are comfy and the mural on the wall is nice.

Worst mani-​pedi I’ve ever had. They put polish on WAY too thick and it never dried. Smudged 15 hours later. Giving an extra star for the massage chairs only. Waste of money and time.

Extremely rude, low standards, poor hygiene. There are several alternate places. Go to them. Live with un-​manicured hands. Just don’t go to these guys.

The best thing this place has going for it is the pretty mountain mural painted on the wall behind the pedicure stations. The charm ends right there. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a pedicure this weekend, and by the time we walked out we were kicking ourselves for not going to the *always* good: Nails La Belle in Quarry Village. The nail techs at Solar Nails were pushy — trying to upsell us, and my friend was repeatedly saying «ouch!» throughout her pedicure. It was not the nice, relaxing, pleasant experience you hope to have when you go for a pedicure. So — lesson learned: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Solar Nails — never. Nails La Belle — always!

The reviews of this salon are a bit mixed. I was very pleased with my spa manicure and the service I had here. I was a walk in early on a Tuesday morning. It was one of the best manicures that I have had in Park City though that is not saying much. I plan to return.

Useless to make an appointment in advance. If I call in advance and make an appointment for three pedicures, I expect there to be three chairs next to each other ready for us at the appointed time. We might as well not have called ahead: there was only one chair available when we arrived and when a third chair finally became available 30 minutes later, it was at the opposite end of the other chairs.

I love this place. I’ve been here many times, they’ve done the beats acrylics I’ve ever had, they’re always super nice, my husband and kids have come here too.

Been here before and it was ok but the technician didn’t engage and I felt awkward. Not this time. My technician Tina was awesome. Super friendly and personable. She gave me exactly what I wanted and didn’t push me through (it was very busy when I went in). Even though it’s out of my way I would return because of the excellent service I received from Tina

This place was not great. She really pushed me into doing shellac and didn’t do a good job. Some of my nails are shiny, others matte. I had her do a Mickey Mouse on my and my daughter’s big toes… you can’t even tell what it is. There’s polish on my cuticles and fingers. Won’t be going back.

Horrible, horrible place. I wish I would have looked at these reviews before going there. The young lady I had was the worst. Barely did anything, she seemed hungover. And on top of all that, she was sarcastic & rude. After she used the scrubbing sponge on my feet she rinsed it in the water where my feet were soaking and then threw it in a drawer.

Been coming here for a few years. I tried several technicians until I picked my favorite. I call in and make an appointment and am treated excellently by her. She is cognizant of my sensitive skin and always remembers what I like. I love this salon. I have been to other salons when out of town and always come rushing back here to have them fix what the others messed up. Great salon. Just speak up if you aren’t happy… while you are here. The owner is here all the time and concerned about conduct of the other technicians.

Probably the worst pedicure I’ve received for $ 33! They rushed us, didn’t clip my hang nails, didn’t use warm lotion (like the description described), didn’t do callous removing, and didn’t even rub my feet or put lotion on them. I’m super disappointed and probably won’t return. From the time I stepped into the salon until they painted my toe was 25 minutes… ridiculous!!!

My sister, mom and I came here to get a pedicure while on vacation and it was a horrible experience. We got the «European pedicure» for $ 33 and from the time we walked in the door to the time we were done it was 25 minutes. They were rushed and didn’t even care. I would not recommend coming here. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had. It was not relaxing at all. The tools that they used were not sterilized and looked like they have used the same ones on everyone. That’s disgusting. Seriously. And I had blue nail polish on before and there was still some left over on my nails after. Throughly disappointed.

Dreadful. Worse pedicure I have ever had. Rushed and careless. Avoid this place! The service was minimal — a complete pedicure, including polish change in less than 15 minutes, and the operator shoved my sandals on immediately after the polish so that my toe was smudged. She even rolled her eyes when I asked her to fix it. During the entire pedicure she spoke non-​stop to the operator beside her. Not a good experience.

This place is the worst salon I’ve ever been to. Please don’t come here, pay a little extra and you won’t regret it. Came here on a recommendation from a coworker to get my eyebrows waxed and gel nails. The man who did my nails was very impatient and looked annoyed the entire time he was doing them. He worked very quickly and skipped tons of steps. My nails fell off after a week! The gel they used is very cheap. The same man proceeded to walk me back into a tiny cramped closet sized room, which already made me feel uncomfortable and started to slather wax on my eyebrows in globs. After telling him specifically I wanted them to be only be «cleaned up» he waxed my thick eyebrows (been growing them out for months) to super thin pencil brows. I was crushed. I now look like I sharpied my brows and will spend the next couple of months filling my eyebrows in with makeup. DONT COME HERE! They just want your money and don’t care about quality or how you look. They have lots of business so they try to go as quickly as possible on people.

Very rarely do you leave a salon with your toes in worse shape. My skin and cuticles are red, bleeding and full of nics. The nails were cut so close I’ll have to watch for ingrown toenails. Never going back (written by Chris’ lady, chris did not get his nails done)

Fastest, mediocre $ 33 European Spa Pedicure I have ever had. I was not impressed and I would have expected better quality for the price. Maybe some of the other techs are more interested in giving you a quality spa pedicure experience… Maybe not.
I won’t be coming back. Sorry Solar Nails and Spa.

I would never go back here! I went for a pedicure and the girl acted like I was a huge imposition to her. I think she was mad that I didn’t want to purchase their additional services, so anything that is usually done in a basic pedicure was done very quickly and ineffectively. For example, she didn’t even try to smooth the bottom of my feet like is normally done, and the massage was not good either. She didn’t even dip the brush into the top or base coat more than once, so she only sparingly used that on all of my toes! I’ve had many pedicures in my life and this one was at the very bottom.
We happened to be the last customers, and to make things worse, they turned the lights out on us before we were even packed up. Rude!

We felt very rushed even though we had an appointment. They know what they are doing, but the experience was not relaxing.

I have tried other nail salons in town, but always end up back here. The service is unbeatable. The staff is friendly. And the prices are reasonable. The owner is honest and will work to make everything right.
The 1^st time I went in I was at the other location. The man who did my gel nails was on his first day. He didn’t do that great of a job and I was in a hurry, so I didn’t have time to let him correct it. I ran into the owner in the parking lot. She saw my nails and told me to come back later. I arrived at the second location the next day and she made sure her best girl was there to redo my manicure.
All of my co-​workers come to Solar Nails and we love it! They are all great!
I visited California Nails 2 weeks ago. I waited 45 minutes with my feet rotating between freezing and boiling water, because no one was paying attention. I was told 5 more minutes more times than I remember. Finally, I gave up. I will not go back. Not when Solar Nails does such a great job and everyone is so friendly!
