I bought $ 2.00 comb made by a hair dryer company, and it bent out of shape on one use. The supervisor named Peggy on 3 – 29 said that the conair comb that I was using was not supposed to be used with the hairdryer ! Uh, it was made by a hair dryer company, and it bent out of shape on one use ! It wasn’t about comb in the end, is the principal of the fact that the stored argued that they wouldn’t refund me a $ 2.00 for a defective product that was probably a fake counterfeit copy.

We arrived in Park City for Sundance last night & our first stop was Fresh Market so we could stock up on supplies for the week. I hear this festival can be pretty expensive & it can turn SUPER expensive if you eat out every night. I’m not exactly swimming in dough(I’ve got a few lottery tickets in my pocket, but results don’t come out for a few days. Wink/Wink God!) so I was thankful to find a way save a little money right from the jump! Unfortunately, I realized I wouldn’t be saving that much money :( While the selections at Fresh Market are certainly vast, I did suffer a touch of sticker shock. It didn’t look like very much was on sale. I was a little relieved I was shopping for one(my GF didn’t travel with me — the $$$ I saved on alcohol alone is astounding) My guess is that they don’t have to mark down the prices that much this time of year. Not with all the hungry celebrities this town is about to be crawling with! I will say this — if I was looking for it, they sure had it. I was able to grab oats & coffee, ham & cheese, casserole & cognac, everything(the cognac isn’t for me — I don’t drink! It’s a thank you to the Hollywood businessman that brought me here!). I spent 15 minutes in the soap aisle looking for the shower gel I was going to use this week. Haha — laugh all you want — but I think it’s super important to choose your smell wisely! 70% of the people out here are going to smell like boring old Irish Springs. I want my smell to be warm, grateful & delicious — as if to say «Thank you for the art Danny Glover! I like the way you did it. I don’t wanna change it. Maybe we can work together some day!» I went with Pure Cashmere! All in all, the prices at Fresh Mart are pretty steep, but I just pretended that I was a movie man & money didn’t matter. This whole week is a dream! I’ll figure out finances later. The prices are high. Who smells so good??? It’s me! It’s me! Fresh Market gets THREESTARS!

Only giving a 1 star because I can’t go lower. Check out girl spoke no english, was going to charge us $ 17.00 for a bunch of radishes and could not be bothered to send the bags down the belt. Worst experience in PC in my 20 years of coming here. Never again!

We usually go to Walmart to start the week then go here for restocking. It has the best location in town with an almost captive audience, so expect to pay more. My problem was being overcharged and nobody was available to refund my money. They have a deli which makes decent sandwiches and there are tables at the coffee shop where you can eat them. It’s a good place for Sundance volunteers to redeem their GRUBSTUBS, but don’t park there for Sundance or you’ll get towed.

A quick little stop at the grocery store to pick up some snacks. It looks like a typical Ralphs or Vons store, however everything is super pricey! I got 3 bananas for $ 1.30. Wowza, I usually get 6 bananas for that price at Trader Joes. Stop here if you must, but remember that grocery stores up on the mountains are usually pretty pricey!

I remember when this was an Albertson’s, and I’ve been coming here since then whenever I’m in PC. It’s always been the grocery store of choice for me when I’m in town, as it’s the first big one I come to once I’m rolling towards the main part of town. There’s so much discussion on price here. It’s all relative. For a resort town, you really can’t complain too much about the sticker prices on stuff. It does feel a little spendy compared to my home markets, but not enough to put me into cardiac arrest. I’m pleased enough with the fruits and veggies, meats, bakery, and other standard grocery store items. More times than not I’m ducking in for a few days worth of groceries, and of course the requisite staycation junk food. I loaded up on way too much ice cream here once and lived to regret it down the road. Last time in was for ice, and it was convenient, quick, and just what I needed when I needed it. Okay by me.

WONDERFUL! I am from an area where we have poor variety in our grocery stores. Now coming to the Western United states I thought I might find something different and I did! I found Some hard-to-find products(where I live) such as Barqs red crème soda and many rare doritos flavors. And they have delicious guacamole! This is my favorite grocery store on earth!

I would recommend to find another store in the area. Prices are too high(It is always so frustrated to find the same product in a much cheaper price in the grocery stores in the area of the«Red Stone road», just a few minutes drive from this Fresh Market store). Also«Rotten Market» would be a much better name to describe some of the fruits and vegetables there — some of them are completely uneatable(They are hidden very well in a too wet bag so you won’t realize it until getting home). It would be very nice if they would just get rid of old products instead of pushing them to the front line.

Very affordable relatively-speaking. Wide aisles. Good selection. Bought 5-days worth of groceries(2 adults) for about $ 80. FYI: Beer is 3.2% proof(just like other grocery stores in the vicinity).

I like this market. It’s a decent grocery store with high, ski resort town prices, so get ready to open up your wallet! Everything in here, even the«sale» items, cost about 2 to 3 times what they ought to. The best thing about this store is that their deli counter has Boar’s Head meat. It really is the best. You can get a sandwich made and grab a cup of soup from their soup bar and sit at one of the little tables in the store. There’s also a Starbucks right inside. They carry a huge variety of brands and items, much more so than the Wal-Mart and Smith’s in town(but make sure to check your expiration date closely, that’s one caveat to them stocking so many different items — the shelf date might be super soon). This grocery store is open 24 hours and is convenient to most of Park City.

For the people that think it’s «A Fresh Market», the A is actually the Associated Food Stores logo, and not a part of the name. Just pointing out that little factoid. But onto the review… This is a pretty decent grocery store, with inflated prices and an okay produce selection. For a place with«fresh» in it’s title, it certainly doesn’t have as much fresh food as I thought they would. Certainly more than average, but it didn’t really blow me away either. The deli counter is large though, and offers quite a selection of meats, cheeses and pre-made foods. The beer selection also is not terrible, and they sell it 24⁄7(a rarity in Utah). Energy drinks and other cold beverages are bountiful, and I was quite impressed with those. The employees are generally pretty friendly, though a few of the employees are kind of rude and give me weird looks when I check out. I don’t really understand why, since I am usually just buying one or two things. Maybe it’s the frequency of my visits? While I do think this store is decent, I think it would have been a lot better back in the days when it used to be an Albertson’s. At least Albertson’s has a membership card to get savings and coupons.

Spend a week in any town and you’ll get to know stores like this. We stopped by many stores in the area, but this one had the friendliest employees. Every employee we ran into offered assistance to find something… maybe we looked like lost tourists? I dunno… but it was very hospitable for them to offer. The Better Half stocked up on her Trail Mix, Yogurt, and bottled Water here. Since there’s no alcohol, I walked around aimlessly until she was ready to leave. Return Factor — 60%

It had been a full day of skiing at Park City so on the way back to our place at Sundance we wanted to grab some fresh bread and fruit. At 9pm, you can imagine a lot of other people had the same idea. There was a mini-rush when we showed up, but we got in and out with some fruit and bread, and a couple other items hunger suggested(chocolate). Right on Park Ave, so it’s easy to find.

Hi. This is the first time I’ve used Unilocal or written any type of online critique. I am so annoyed by my experiences at the Park City Fresh Markets… I suppose I need a forum through which to vent. After a dozen or so mediocre/dismal experiences in this store, I will no longer chose to shop here. I can get past the long check-out lines, the dingy atmosphere, poor quality of veggies, the neglectful staff… what I cannot abide is the sell-by dates on the perishables. I constantly find cheese, juices and chicken that are very close to expiration. Today when I politely alerted a woman at the deli counter about packages of chicken with sell-by dates occurring PRIOR to today, she seemed as if I was annoying her and she was completely unfazed. I can’t get past expired perishables on the racks and staff that are unconcerned at best. If you chose to shop Fresh Market, check food dates closely! Thanks for your time, Unilocal. Jennie

This is really a normal run of the mill market, however i give it 4 stars because they are open until midnight which is a diamond in the rough for Park City which is a really small town and the store options are slim to none. They have beer available but no wine. For those that live in Utah or have visited you know how much of a pain buying alcohol can be especially late at night.

This used to be Albertsons and my parents kept referring to it as Albertsons. However, it’s now Fresh Market and I’m not sure when it changed, but they’ll have to adjust to the changing world. During our week stay in Park City last week, we visited this local supermarket about four times. Each time it was fairly busy and after looking around, we found what we were looking for. The store is stocked well and kept clean and neat. There are many items that are on sale(in their weekly ad) and the nice thing is that you don’t have to sign up for a rewards card to get the discounts. Their prices didn’t seem abnormally high and you have to remember that Park City is 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, so they have to truck everything into the place. Not much else to say. They do have two Redbox machines to rent DVDs and one night there was a line to rent movies. Xie Xie!

Sad to lose another previously good grocery. The new Fresh Market is a sad dropoff from its previous iteration as Albertsons. Drive across the street to the Park City Market or go to Smiths. The change took a lot of us in town by surprise. While Smiths is our primary market, we’ve shopped Albertsons as a backup very frequently. We tried to give Fresh Market a chance. But the selections are poor, the prices high, atmosphere awful and checkout service slow and inefficient. After four or five tries, we’re done.

In a world(or town) where everything is pricey, at least you can find groceries to get a cheap meal. This place had everything we needed and more during our short visit. It’s in a convenient place, and as stated, prices are good. Don’t know why the other person was complaining about freshness, all the produce and other items we got were fine.
