Could have been good. Over greased cast iron skillets made sandwiches greasy. The brisket was very good, the beans were excellent! The prime rib needs work, very fatty and bread not right for the sandwich. Do not get regular fries the garlic fries were just as good as the beans!

This place is so overpriced! The«garlic» fries are a joke. Just throw some minced garlic on top of mediocre fries. The chili bowl and cup were the same size. Conveniently they are also out of cornbread which comes with the chili, however they failed to mention this until it was served. Tacos are super plain. Service was terrible too. We were completely ignored when in the bar area downstairs. Once moved upstairs our server disappeared pretty much after our order was placed. No silverware, no napkins, no drink refills. Food came out wrong. Looks are very deceiving here. Not worth the money!

This is absolutely the worse BBQ place I’ve been to ever. Granted the service was decent but the food was terrible. If you like bland food this is the spot for you. I ordered the combo plate with the ribs, tri tip and chicken. And I drowned the meat with BBQ sauce and that didn’t even help. My garlic fries were basically fries that had a couple of pieces of garlic that didn’t even make it taste anything like garlic in them. This place is in a tourist spot so I understand why they wouldn’t care to make food that is flavorful bc tourists who are their majority of their customers won’t go there again after leaving. Terrible place, only go if you like bland food!

Waitress downstairs were rushed when serving our family even though we were first downstairs for dinner at 530 so maybe that threw them off. Wife enjoyed the steak, and kids liked the corn dogs, but barbecue chicken sandwich is one big stringy chunk of tough meat(don’t order it) and junior hamburger tasted odd. Just no warmth/good vibe — maybe it’s different upstairs. Wouldn’t go back.

Bandit’s was excellent. We were fortunate to be seated quickly on President’s weekend. Drinks are what they are in Utah, but the bartender was polite and on top of things. Dinner was great. The trip tip street tacos, were a great starter. I had the pulled pork with mashed sweet potatoes and wild rice; excellent. Nothing is cheap, but the portions are generous. You won’t leave hungry.

Awesome food. Awesome service. That’s all I want to say, but Unilocal says its not long enough. Homemade BBQ sauce was on point!

One of my go to spots on main street in Park City. I’ve actually only ever eaten here on the first Friday of Sundance and I’ve never had to wait more than 25 minutes for a group of at least four. Service is fast and friendly, food is flavorful and reasonably priced, even during Sundance.

This place started off great but quickly lost a bunch of points. Smelled great, nice ambiance, and really good appetizers(corn bread and onion rings). The ranch dressing was awesome which is huge in my book. Dinner came and I ordered the combo plate with ribs, chicken and pulled pork with fries and macaroni on the side. Pulled pork was really good, so was the chicken. The rest was meh. The macaroni was actually awful — spiral noodles in a thin cheese-ish broth, nothing like what I expected and almost flavorless. My wife’s salad never came either after everyone else got food. We asked about it, the waiter said he’d go grab it, then took the order from table behind us with 6 people. I asked someone else they got it for us. Decent food, decent service. Nothing special but could be great if they tried a little harder.

Decided to order for take-out. Was put on hold for several minutes; so hung up and called back. Again, on hold for minutes… Finally got someone on the 3rd attempt — this time I could hear background dialog so hadn’t hung up. Was told to pick up the order at the bar. Waited there for dozens of minutes(someone thought maybe 20!) There was no crowd and the bartender just ignored us. Brought the food home and discoverd a missing dish — so we called back. All they offered was a ‘discount on the next visit’. We had also orderd bbq sauce on the side — no they didn’t do that but slopped it all over the sandwiches. They also promised the manager would call later that night. No call back :-) Food was good but service was unacceptable. And this was not during their busy time! Don’t do take-outs at this place. It’s pay first and tolerate later.

We landed, jumped in an Über, Jumped on a bus, Jumped on Main street’s trolley and basically ended up here. Usually we do not eat at places with less than 4 stars on Unilocal but we were starving, it was cold outside, and it was snowing. Mom and I split a salad, chili, and got two hot ciders. The food was great but the waiter was very slow. I had to ask him 3 times for my hot cider because he ‘kept forgetting’ and I had to ask him for a water. Also — the only bathroom is all the way down a steep flight of stairs. This place did not seem very friendly for the disabled.

We had a wonderful lunch here– please do come hungry! It is a cozy atmosphere, lots of booths which I love. Tri-tip, fried pickles and garlic fries were delicious and possibly worth the future heart attack they induced! Great cocktail list added a star!

Great barbecue, great service. Huge portions so be hungry when you get here. They were very busy, but we were lucky and sat down right away. Don’t sit by the door can by drafty. Well worth it, so when your in Park City definitely come here.

Bandits’ Grill & Bar is a fun joint to go to. The food is pretty good, and the wait staff was excellent. My wife and I went for lunch one day, and we were the only people there, so that could play a role into why the wait staff was so attentive. One thing that I really loved about this place is the smell. You can smell the wood that they use to smoke there food in the air. There isn’t the smoke, but that amazing wood smoldering smell. I love that smell. I ordered the brisket with a side of coleslaw, and my wife ordered the steak tacos. The brisket had a good flavor, but it almost seemed like the portion I had was them getting rid of yesterdays brisket because presentation was horrible. You couldn’t identify if it was just one piece, strips of brisket, bits and pieces thrown together or all of the above. Also, I know brisket is a fattier cut of meat, but I’d say about half of my brisket was nothing but fat. The house BBQ sauce is pretty good. It added good flavor to the brisket, thought I am the kind of guy that would rather have the brisket be flavorful instead of relying on BBQ sauce for the flavor, so I didn’t use a lot. My wife had the steak tacos and I’d say that those were the winner between our dishes. She let me have a bit and they were really good! I do want to go back to this establishment and try more of there dishes. The food was good and I’d like to see what other dishes and surprises this place has to offer.

Ok, so I must say that growing up in very close to the California Bandits made me have high expectations going into this location. Sadly, those expectations were missed on several levels. First, the service was very much subpar. It took several minutes for our waitress to greet the table. I wouldn’t usually take note of this, but there were two waitresses for four tables, one of which already had paid. She then took over ten minutes to bring out my beer, not to mention I watched her stop and talk with the other waitress while holding my beer for at least a minute. She seemed annoyed and put off by everything throughout the meal. Ok, enough about her. Second, the food. While the nachos were excellent, the wrap and bbq salad were both on the OK to bad side. The salad was slightly better then then bad, but the wrap lacked flavor and made both my wife and I sick. All and all, not a great meal. I would suggest going for the nachos and a beer, then calling it good.

I grew up going to this Thousand Oaks staple so I love it for multiple reasons… brings me back to my childhood and everything and anything Tri tip is amazing! Tri tip nachos, Tri tip wrap, Tri tip sandwich… Tri tip anything = get it. The bandits sauce is also some of the best BBQ sauce out there. In a state(Utah) that doesn’t have a ton of Tri tip options, it’s worth the drive to Park City Main Street every once and a while for this gem…

Overrated. If this is the best Bbq Utah has to offer… Service was terrible, hostess was miserable. Just an all out lousy experience. Doesn’t deserve a spot on main street with all the other superb places to eat

I had high expectations after hearing about how great Park City is. Sat down. Server Jess was super friendly from the start… then it went downhill. Bug floating on the top of my raspberry lemonade. Black chunks frozen in the ice(after working in restaurants for 6 yrs it’s either a bug was crushed inside or machine is dirty). My friends coffee mug was FILTHY. Old coffee smudges all over the sides and an old coffee ring around the bottom from the previous use, that easily came off with our fingers. Her water glass had food stuck to the inside. My fork had food and hair stuck on it. I was done at this point. if this is how they show the front of their restaurant where they KNOW they are being watched. I can only imagine the back. Called manager over and pointed out all the dirt and her response to the dirty water glass was«well we have hard water».hunny.everywhere has hard water. That doesn’t excuse poor cleaning. We cancelled our food and left.

SUMMARY: Went for a late dinner(9pm) on a Tuesday night with a friend after a long day of skiing. WHAT I ORDERED: BBQ Combo with shrimp + half roasted chicken + ribs + yams + green beans(dry rub) + red wine —-MORE DETAIL — - FOOD: GREAT: Delicious. Meat was a bit drier than I would like, but the rub was great and it wasn’t too dry. SERVICE: GREAT: They came by the right amount, was understanding about all of our questions, had great recommendations, and didn’t rush us when we weren’t done eating as they were closing up and then closing up. AMBIANCE: Nicer casual(like a family bbq restaurant) — slightly hipster

As far as restaurants in the culinary wasteland of Park City go, you could do much, much worse than Bandits. In no way will the food change your life, but it’s one of the few restaurants in town that I don’t hate. It’s located on Main Street so it’s a great«see and be seen place,» especially during busy ski season and during the Sundance Film Festival. This is a casual bbq joint with a Western cowboy vibe. The décor is fun and inviting, with lots of big booths upstairs and a cool, windowless basement bar downstairs. My favorite tables are the two booths in the front windows — ask for one of those and you can watch the excitement go by down Main Street. The food here is pretty good and the portion sizes are more than fair. I usually order the grilled bbq chicken with grilled green beans(yum!)! I love that the sides here aren’t afterthoughts — everything is good from the ranch beans and coleslaw to the traditional french fries and sweet potato fries. Hubby loves the«Unbeatable» tri-tip sandwich. I’m not a fan of any of the bbq meats here because they are always a bit too rare for my tastes(I don’t like pink of any kind in my meat), but he always raves about the«Unbeatable.» Hands down my absolute favorite item on the menu is the fried zucchini appetizer. The kitchen uses big spears of FRESH zucchini and lightly breads them by hand, pan frying ‘em up. These things are DELICIOUS(if overpriced at $ 10), but I order them every single time. They are so good and taste even better than my photo suggests. The service is courteous, prompt and efficient, and the kitchen is always willing to accommodate special requests or dietary needs. I’m a low carb diner and they’ve never given me grief if I want to substitute a vegetable for potato(sometimes it comes with a nominal additional charge but they don’t argue with you about doing it in the first place, which I appreciate). If you just want to hang for drinks, go down into the basement bar. There are several cozy booths down there if you want to order some food too. The bar features a good selection of local Utah beer as well as tasty whiskey from Park City’s High West distillery. Expect to pay around $ 10 for a teeny tiny shot of liquor. According to the menu, Bandits has a new $ 8 corkage fee, which I can’t wait to try out. That’s a great deal if you’re into bringing your own wine. For you non-alcohol drinkers, I highly recommend their fresh brewed iced tea. I can go through about 5 glasses of that stuff with my meal! Note that as with most places in this ski resort town, prices fluctuate based on the season. If you go in July, you can expect to pay several dollars less for the same entrée than when you go in January. During the summer, the restaurant sometimes runs an all you can eat bbq deal for around $ 20. If you are lucky enough to be there when they have it, get it!

Hit this lic while completing a walking tour of Main Street Park City utah. Lookin at the menu in the window revealed a plethora of comfort food. We decided to go with it and grub. There are 2 options here. You can either go downstairs to the bar or eat just above ground level at the main dining floor. We went with the main floor. Initially, we were seated in a back booth, near the kitchen. The booth was desperately close and a wee bit loud. We asked to relocate and they were more than happy to move us. Once settled, the menu didn’t dissapoint. I had potato skins and pulled pork sliders… damn!!! Honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we had that wasn’t positively awesome! If ur in town, want a snack, give it a whirl! You’ll walk out of this joint in need of a wheel barrow, and completely satisfied!
