Beginning in May, 2013 we will have rug hooking studios in both locations offering a place for rug hookers of all experience levels to hook together, share one another’s company, and have refreshments. We will also offer hand dyed wools, hooking accessories, patterns, and finished pieces of our own design or to your custom order. Meet the Business Owner

Elizabeth M.

Business Owner

Beth lives in the Western Lakes & Mountains region of Maine in the national historic district of Paris Hill. The natural beauty and fascinating history of the area, as well as her circa 1818 home, the Parris House, served as her inspiration for taking up primitive style rug hooking. Our company bears the name of her home and its image appears on our home page banner. Beth’s designs are based in her love of New England’s breathtaking scenery, architectural and literary heritage, and a reverence for a simpler way of life.

Along with rug hooking, Beth enjoys gardening, canning, raising chickens, camping/hiking/canoeing (she is a Registered Maine Guide), writing, recreational running, real estate brokerage in lovely Maine properties & spending time at her cottage, Sunset Haven, on Little Sebago Lake in Gray, Maine. She is married to a sweet husband who lends moral support to her many ventures and together they have four fine sons, an orange tabby cat named Tesla, and a Corgi, Tru.
