Fuel Pro

I would give zero stars if I could. It is an almost weekly, if not multiple times a week, tradition for me to stop in this little fuel mart (Fuel Pro — Paris, TN) on the way to church to get my caffeine for the day. Today I got to the counter to pay and an Indian man with poor English, who I deal with almost every single time I am there, shows me a receipt for $ 17 from weeks ago where someone left without paying for gas. Before I could fully piece together what he was saying, he started shouting at me and saying that I drove a black jeep and I am on camera, etc. I honestly for a second thought I was getting punked until he started yelling louder and I was actually starting to get pretty scared. He said the cops were on the way. I started barking back like any innocent man would do and told him that is exactly what needed to happen — the police needed to be there. He started apologizing when I pulled my phone out to call the police and he realized I was innocent for the way I was dealing with his indictment. After this, he actually started to swipe my card for the caffeine. I demanded my card back and left exclaiming I would never shop there again, which I mean. Two things to learn from this. I would have spent way more in a matter of weeks than the 20 bucks in gas that he was stiffed. Losing my business will cost him much more in the long run than the person who drove off without paying. The other scary thing, he has a baseball bat right behind his counter and I am pretty sure I know what it is doing there. It could be an ugly scene for police if someone much tougher and meaner than me happens to drive a jeep and decide to stop in there for caffeine anytime soon. Ultimately, they will feel threatened and may deal with it differently than the way I did. It is a scary situation any way you look at it.

Nice little truck stop with limited parking in the back lot. The gas pumps are out front, the diesel pump (s) set off to the west side of the building.
They have a small convenience store, with a unisex restroom.
