So its been a real long time since I’ve visited this Blimpie and a lot has changed. First thing is its connected to Fairway Markets produce department and they offer a whole lot more than other Blimpie franchises do. For one thing they sell empanadas that looked pretty bangin I may add. I’m gonna have to grab one of those next time for sure. I did also see a sign for hot dogs and chicken tenders as well. I ended up ordering a 6 inch sub on some type of parmesan bread with fresh sliced turkey and american cheese. P. S.- I’m a big fan of them slicing to order. Not a lot of places do that… cough cough subway… All the toppings they had to offer looked super fresh and they tasted just that. I did happen to see a sign that said something about no outside beverages but I had my iced coffee from dunkin donuts and they didn’t say anything to me. But hey I get it they want you to spend their money there which is understandable. I honestly have been craving that sandwich every since it graced my taste buds. Will definitely be back soon.

Random. This place isn’t your average Blimpie — it’s more like a cornerstore bodega/deli with a franchise name. Attached to Fairway, they serve Fairway’s coffee along with a whole host of other things, including: Several kinds of french fries, wings, empanadas, hotdogs, chicken tenders, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. But that’s not all, folks. If you have a sweet tooth there’s individual candy bars and hostess cakes availabe. I repeat: random. I got a vegimax sandwich but wasn’t brave enough to sample any of their other menu options. Plenty of places to sit, but also several«no loitering» signs directed at Fairway employees. Judging by interactions I saw, looks like this place is popular with regulars who work at Fairway or elsewhere nearby. That’s all.

This particular location is attached to Fairway, so they have a decent selection of coffee. Meats and cheeses are freshly sliced and of decent quality. Dining area is as clean as you’d expect a fast food franchise to be. I usually get the Blimpie Best. It’s a solid sandwich. They serve other things like ice cream and cookies, but it’s Blimpie, so stick with a sandwich.

I stopped for lunch before shopping with my mom. It was horrible at best. I ordered two Italian subs and two sodas. The gentleman totaled everything to twenty three dollars. I told him try again. We sat and took first bites. The bread was extremely stale and crumbly. The vegetables were not fresh. I will not go back.

I’ve ate at this blimpie location a ton of times. Franchisor — take notes — this is what blimpie’s should mimic all over. The staff is friendly and quick! Food is fresh, excellent selection of cookies, ice cream and etc(unlike a lot of other blimpies) Great location — Plus they are next to fairway so they serve Fairway coffee — Pretty cool
