Service is lousy you stand in line for 20 minutes or more while returning items customer service is lousy

Me: can I get some wire cut?
Employee: I don’t cut wire (as he keeps walking away)
Me: we’ll do you know who does?
Employee: yeah he’s on break. (Keeps on walking away)
I’ll be spending my mom elsewhere.

This isn’t the greatest of Home Depots. Stock is always low, it’s difficult to find what aisles items are stocked on, and lines are always super slow and long. There always seems to be people loitering or selling fruit, etc. in the parking lot, too. Only when I’m in a last minute bind for work, do I make a mad dash in and out of here. Otherwise, I will go to a much better organized and cleaner store.

Bad service. Ill never come here to get my christmas tree again. I came on saturday night the 12÷5÷2015 to get my christmas tree with my toodlers. I picked the tree and the employee just handed the tree to me. Didnt even bother to take it to my car and helped me tigh it up. The employee saw i was by myself with my kids :(I was so upset with the service here. Thats what I get for coming to this ghetto place. Where only lazy ass people work.

Worst service ever in the rental department nothing like the good service you get at Lakewood location don’t come here

Friendly staff. Cashier at the self check out helped me and also informed me of other products in their store that could make my project easier. Plenty staff everywhere. A customer saw my struggle cutting a pvc tube and offered his help. Plenty of parking and I’d definitely come back to this Home Depot.

I am pleased with this home depot because they have awesome customers service personal in the paint department and in particular an employee name David from another department. He assisted me until closing time. He greeted me, and offered great suggestions, ideas and advices to use for my room décor. I would like to sincerely thank him for a great customer services. Great! customers service is what makes a welcoming place to come shop.

Worst place to come if you’re thinking of doing a DIY project. Came in here for some crown molding for an attic that’s inside my garage, there are so many different types of molding including different cuts and sizes. I had no idea which one to choose for my attic since it’s in my ceiling. I walked up and down the same aisle for about 20 minutes and never got any help I have one guy but he just walked past me and told me look for the ceiling one, wow great help Home Depot. On my way to lowes now.

Great stock, cleaner than most and saw a lot of stuff I haven’t at other Home Depot’s…and having just moved, I’ve been to many the last few months.

What a bummer I tried to just add a tip because I did not want to influence my reviews on this place I love this place. Every other time I have ever been here I’ve been help efficiently and in a timely manner and never had any problems. But yesterday I was there and went to check out and noticed a customer at the key kiosk having a problem. I think it had something to do with the fact that my checkout lane was next to the key kiosk and he was very upset and asking my cashier to get an attendant. After hearing him tell her that he was there for half an hour I decided that since I have experience with the key cutting system I would at least go and help him find out if they even carry the key that he was looking for. As they do not do some specialty keys and upon talking to him I found out it was a safe key so I was checking the board which upon someone showed up and was very rude. Now my thing is if you are going to have someone wait a half an hour for a key that you don’t even carry that’s not cool. Now if the employee was on lunch that’s fine or maybe you should get at least two employees for that department to cover that way you don’t have someone waiting a half an hour to find out that they don’t even have a key that they need. I mean come on even the cashier was telling me that I should leave a complaint with a manager that means that this department or at least the key cutting person out of hardware is falling apart.

I came here last night to purchase an air conditioner for my room and to begging with their phone customer service is HORRIBLE… ADRIAN in kitchen &bath department had a snobby attitude when I asked for a SKU check…
So I get to the store and I already had something specific in mind, ended up buying a 5000 BTU LG air conditioner. Something that was recommended by the staff there. It doesn’t end there, my husband and I also bought PLEXI glass and other installation tools.
We get home my husband cuts, installs drills and seals the darn thing into our bedroom window. It all seems great only to a disappointing hot room that isn’t even cool…
BUT WAIT! This morning we un-​installed the whole thing and went right back to return and get something better, the MANAGER there was nice at first, then got a little agitated when we expressed our frustration with the product, we asked of we could get something better (they had nothing for us In. Stock) he decided to abandon is at the customer service desk…10 minutes later ANOTHER MANAGER «Eddie» comes and instead of helping, he approached us completely rude, snobby and made us feel like garbage. insulted us and still got an attitude when we told him we wanted to complain and leave a survey…
I could ramble on and in about this place .but I’ve made a point here. NEVER GOING BACK HERE, I’ll BE BETTER OFF GOING TO LOWES ;)

customer service was the best, this guy took 30 minutes out of his day to show me what i needed to get for my garden. i found that they had a 3cut foot bag of peat moss for 12 bucks! i bought some butterfly milkweed seeds and im starting to see little seedling appear already! they have much better prices than most nurseries i have been to and i buy most of my soil from this home depot.

This store has parking lot security issues. Here is a copy of the email I sent to Home Depot customer service:
To whom it may concern:
I am writing to notify your company of a security problem that I have encountered at the Paramount #1037 store. Yesterday (Tuesday) at approximately 2:30pm my vehicle was burglarized in the parking lot of this Home Depot store. The vehicle was located at approximately the midpoint between the entrance and exits of the store, and only 5 spaces in from the building, and the side of the vehicle that was broken into was the side facing the store.
Once I noticed the damage to my vehicle, I requested to have an incident report filed at the customer service desk of the store. I was informed that incident reports are not filed for car burglaries and that my only recourse was to contact the police, which is why I am writing this letter.
The officer who came to the site of the incident to file the report informed me that this is not an isolated incident, which surprised me, but if the store does not file incident reports then there would be no way of knowing there is a problem unless the police department contacts the store every time a victim decides to wait for an officer to arrive just to file a report. I myself considered leaving instead of waiting for an officer to arrive, as I was in the middle of my work day and needed to get back to work, and now had the additional tasks of having my door locks repaired and replacing the tools that were stolen.
I do not believe that stores should be responsible for the security of vehicles parked in their parking lot, but I believe there is negligence involved in that this store allows for day labor workers to loiter both along the wall of the riverbed entrance to the store, as well as in the parking lot. It is commonplace to see day labor workers sitting inside of vehicles parked in the main parking area, standing under trees throughout the parking lot, and walking around the parking lot. I am not accusing the day labor workers of being involved in the burglaries, but their presence at least doubles the amount of foot traffic that is present in the parking lot of this store, as well creates an environment where loitering is the norm, which is ideal for criminal stake-​outs. Apparently even the presence of the security guard who was standing in the middle of the parking lot talking on his cell phone as the police officer took my report is not a sufficient solution to this problem.
Unless this issue is resolved, I will discontinue shopping at this Paramount Home Depot location as well as inform my colleagues and customers of this problem so that they may avoid the same expense, inconvenience, and emotional strain that this incident has caused me.

Stopped by here to pick up some supplies for my home project and I was really surprised that the service was far better than most of the reviews I’ve read.
Friendly expert service. Very quick check out. Prices may be slightly higher than Lowes. But no complaints I was in the area passing through.

I came here to purchase some materials to assemble a project. Home Depot is definitely a destination to come to for building materials. The workers at this particular location here were pretty friendly and tried to help us out when we ran into some issues.
I wish that this location carried a table saw for customers to use. We had to use a hand saw to cut our PVC pipe which was rather labor intensive. However, at least Home Depot allows you to cut your pipe on the spot.

Not happy with this Home Depot from my last experience. I’ve usually had OK service here. Yesterday we rented a rototiller to use for our backyard. When we rented it the sky was clear, sunny and we thought the rain was past us for the time being. By the time we got home it was raining cats and dogs and we had some nasty thunder and lightening (definitely not safe to be outside near a tree rototilling).
We attempted to take the rototiller back and ask if we could get credited to come back the next day when it wasn’t raining cats and dogs. They answered NO. I really felt that was terrible customer service and they could have at least given us credit for an hour or two. The guy even told us when we rented the rototiller that the day turned out to be a great day! How were we suppose to know within half and hour it was going to be raining as hard as it did?
So disappointed in Home Depot.

Wow, the way this place is run is a mess. I prefer Home Depot to Lowes, but this store at this location left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a router table and some hardware online and went in to pick it up the other day. The customer service/​special order counter was really bad. The lady behind the counter named «Yessie» was busy having a personal conversation while there were six of us customers in line. When she finally got to my order she wasn’t sure how to process it. After her manager assisted her she gave me my receipt and told me to have a good day. After I told her she forgot to give me the actual merchandise she said «duh, my bad.,» and told me the order was a few feet away from her and I could now pick it up and take it. One problem, the stuff I bought weighed a good amount, hey how about a shopping cart? I had to go and get one myself. Up to that point I was thinking maybe it’s just one of those days, right? Well as I’m walking out with my stuff and receipt in hand a cashier stops me and reviews my paperwork, but since it’s an internet order and not just a simple register receipt she doesn’t know how to check it. So, she calls a nearby supervisor who asks me several questions, then calls Yessie (you remember her) and finally verifies my order. My advice is to STAY AWAY from this particular location.

Not bad, staff was friendly which is all one can ask for. The people looking for work on the side of the driveway was a bit of a blast from my handyman assistant past, man I’ve worked way to many varying jobs in 30 years of life. Oh well, this is a solid three
