Marinello Schools of Beauty

I needed to get some information about the classes I took when I came here. I called everyday for the past week and was never given a call back. I went to the school and the woman in admissions left early. I called back this week and didn’t get a phone call until today when I called AGAIN. Finally. When she answers the phone all she said was «hello». Hm no name no anything. The front desk also isn’t very helpful. I was on hold for 15 minutes and she answered and says that they are busy to call back in 15 minutes. I wonder if they are going to answer me or just ignore me again… I call them back in 20 minutes. Girl who answered said she was gonna check if she was available and I’m left on hold for 10 minutes and then click, they hang up the phone on me. Very disappointed with this school and their service. 0 stars if I could but I guess 1 is the lowest I can do.

I love my school off top I just recently graduated from there and I truly miss being there I love seeing good reviews about the school it makes me proud too say I went there… .#teamparamount !!! Keep up the good work everyone.

I will give you a true description about this school.
If you truly want your money’s worth in cosmetology, DO NOT come to this school. The staff is shady, the students are just as bad, as well as the customers and above all that, everything you learn in the freshman room is repeated THE WHOLE TIME YOU’RE THERE. You cannot be creative nor actually learned beyond what is real cosmetology. When you first hear about the price, you think the school would use great equipment since you’re being charged a fortune but the belongings you use you can easily find at Sally’s, even at the dollar store. They charge a lot for a kit that’s less than 1,000 worth and their bleach nor colors actually do much to one’s hair. I WAS a student before I left because of how horrible this school is. Marinello is not a good school if you want to be a true cosmetologist.
Please take a look and do your research before even trying to attend Marinello. They are not helpful at all and just want your money, just like any big corporation. Even the high staff at the real central campus does not help nor do they ever respond back to your emails.
I repeat, if you want a true cosmetology experience, you can learn the same material AND cheaper at a community college. You’re pretty much paying 21,000 just to get your license you have to renew every year for 40 to 60 dollars and it isn’t guarantee that you’ll pass state board.
