I went on today they did an amazing job i really liked it i would have given them 5 stars but what i did not like was how each person that would
They would laugh and speak chinese and then lower their voices n stare i could so tell they were gossiping about their customers which to me was so RUDE!! please speak english we are not stupid and not a joke to people to laugh at

I think these ladies do a really nice job with their designs and attention to detail. I have been going here for almost a year and I always walk out of here loving my nails. The only problem I have is that sometimes when I get a full set and they’re filing my nails to the shape I want, they hurt me! Haha but a little pain is okay I guess.

Nice Instagram. Dirty place. Seen a roach and I’m not sure if they sterilize. Won’t go back.

I always just think «well maybe I went on a bad day» or «just got the wrong person» but it’s been too many times. I had gotten them done this Sunday and just yesterday my nail broke (because i KNOW she did bad on the gluing). They are rude and just care about efficiency, not quality. They kicked me out of my chair before my nails could dry. Didn’t even get the shape right, and rolled her eyes when I asked for a more natural look.

Helen & Linda. my 2 favorite nail technicians. Always consistent & never in a rush no matter how busy. Prices went up a little but they have upgrades which makes my pampering experience great as always. Keep up the great work ladies.

I seen so many nice nails on Instagram and thought about taking it a chance. Horrible idea! I came friday morning around 10 and there was a few people. I got a young girl who did my mani & pedi and it seemed like she was new. She didn’t really know what she was doing & didn’t do a great job at my pedi! She did my mani while i was sitting on the pedicure chair since all the stations were full which made me feel like not getting the full service as I would at a station. Horrible. Never again!

If there were negative stars, this place would definitely would be getting negative stars!!! Worst customer service I have EVER experienced!!! Extremely cheap quality, inside of nails started lifting. Which not to mention can cause fungus due to water staying inside the lifted portions!!! I wrote a negative review on IG and of course got blocked. I will never be coming back! I had to go to another nail salon to have nails taken off!!!

I been there about 3 or 4 times and im always satisfied with my nails. Today i got Nancy she was very nice and did an awesome job!

Honestly the worst nail experience I have ever had. I came here on a whim because someone told me that this place was really good. I stepped in and the front desk clerk gives me the rudest look and tells me «what do you want?» And I told her I wanted a full set, manicure and a pedicure. She didn’t even give me enough time to pick a color and rushed me over to a chair. After I sat down she spoke with the nail tech and brought over another customer, told me to get up and she had the new customer take my place. Which I didn’t understand since it’s strictly walk ins and the new customer came in after me. She then brings me over to the chair closest to the door and brings out a literal bucket with a plastic bag as my «pedicure». I was confused and asked her if I wasn’t getting my pedicure in one of the spa pedicure stations and she told me no because I was also getting a manicure. Which by the way they charged me the same as if I would have gotten a spa pedicure. I should have left right after that but being myself I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued with it. My manicure and pedicure were the most mediocre things that I could have gotten. My hands are so dry, I didn’t receive a massage and they didn’t even put base coat on my nails. It’s inexpensive but I honestly won’t even come here because it’s not even worth the money. Id rather pay more to get a decent job.
Listen to these reviews and do yourself the favor of passing this place up. I would have given a zero if I had the option.

My nail tech was Kathy, really nice lady although she did seem a bit tired and sluggish to work she even admitted it too Lol but over she was nice. For my first time they did a pretty good job and for 16 $ not bad at all. Now let’s see how long the gel lasts.

I’m just walking out of this place, came here to get a manicure & pedicure, along with my daughter who got a new full set.
My daughter is happy she got a very good job by this nice guy «Kevin» but, unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about the lady «Kim» that did my nails, she was absent and had a really bad attitude the whole time, and all was because I asked to do my manicure fist, she goes and get the water ready for my pedi and I asked again (aren’t you gonna do my manicure first?) she said (yes). So I went ahead and put my feet in the water, but when I saw her getting ready to do my pedicure, I told her one more time (I want my manicure first) she said yeah, yeah, but is easier to do it on the table so I’ll do it after.
Oh no!!! I’m a paying customer and if I ask for something, I expect to get what I ask for, but I didn’t tell her that, just got my feet out of the water and moved to her table.
She was so mad and started talking to one of her coworkers in their language, and every since she was rude.
I been coming to this place since first week they opened, and Luis the owner (front desk guy) knows it, but if you are planing to get your nails at this place, I don’t recommend you to do it on Tuesday or Wednesday, Luis is not here and you’ll either be ignore or get crapy customer service. Workers act completely different in front of him.

I rarely write bad reviews but I just had too for this place.
I used to come here every two weeks months ago till I had a bad experience and decided to find a new shop. Till I recently kept seeing really nice designs on their Instagram that I decided to try them again.
I went in asking for a full set with gel. I showed the nail tech the design I wanted and he just kept staring at me not saying if he could do the design or not. Turns out he couldn’t! Apparently the design I wanted could only be done by another nail tech who was on vacation. And I get it, we have different talents, but why couldn’t he let me know ahead of time? He even told me nobody in the shop could draw a simple flower. Really?!
After proceeding to do my nails I asked for the simple rhinestone design on their Instagram And he couldn’t even do that! He put so much top coat and glue that my rhinestones looked white and crusty! So of course I asked him to do it again. I knew from the get go this guy was in such a hurry to get home but because he was in such a hurry my nails came out horrible and he took twice as long.
Everyone in the shop knew I was upset. They didn’t even charge me the $ 1 for using my card.
It’s safe to say I will NEVER be back here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I doubted this place when I walked in today and they told me 15 min wait for 5 people and there was about 6 people in front of me. This place gets you in and out. I absolutely loved the fact that I got a full set and pedicure within an hour. Everyone was great, super friendly. The only weird thing was using a debit card became a problem for some reason there today. & also I was originally told a full set + design was $ 30 but it’s actually $ 40 & pedicure was $ 12. Other then that everything was fine. (They also have a picture on their Instagram where it says full set + design = $ 30 (I paid $ 30 for full set NO design and $ 12 for pedicure) = $ 42 + $ 1 to use debit.

After going to my regular nail salon for almost 15 years, it was time for a change. they started getting sloppy.
So here I am. first timer at this place and my experience was good. I came here for a pedi and gel nails and was sat right away… no waiting! I was in awe! Lol! Good service by Tina. Definitely coming here again.

seriously so unhappy with everything about this place.
i came to try this place out due to their instagram.
my nail tech who i absolutely love is out for 2 months due to surgery and wont be back to work until the end of june… which is why i decided to come and try this place out.
i went in to get a pedicure and a full set.
i had to wait 35 min before i was actually seen. they don’t have the best options for polish colors.
i had to get my pedicure first… the pedicure was $ 12 well it definitely was exactly that. she didn’t really do much .Im a cosmetologist and ive been getting pedicures for ever. my massage was prob 1 min per foot/leg.it was horrible. i wanted my toe nails to be filed square and they aren’t. im going to basically re-​do my own toes.
on to my nails. i sat down and the lady didn’t say anything to me.
i asked her what the price difference was with regular polish and gel polish and she couldn’t give me a straight answer… red flag. then i tried to make conversation. told her it was my first time there and i was nervous being somewhere new for my nails.
I then showed her a pic of a set I’ve had in the past so she could understand the length and shape i wanted. medium long, thin & narrow coffin nails.
my nails are crooked & uneven my thumbs don’t even look like they are apart of the set that i got they are so short. she over filed on some nails. cut my skin with the file.
i did end up getting gel polish and its the only thing i do like. the color of it.
it was a waste of $ 42
they charge $ 1 to use ur card and i always tip. but everything was so effing horrible i didn’t leave anything.

Like many I found the on Instagram. I was in the area and said why not. BIG MISTAKE.
Most nail salons like that do not have great customer service but they were the worst ever! I asked the technician to do one thing and she argued with me and did whatever she wanted.
The woman who did my pedicure said, «we don’t have hot water». The guy running the place is a jerk. The do play favoritism and will not go out of their way to be creative as the imply on Instagram. I was beyond courteous and still gave them a tip they didn’t deserve.

I am so happy ! Happy !! They did a great job !
I was skeptical coming here since I already have my nail spot at the stonewood mall.
My sister said there were lots of her friends that rave about this place so we decided to give it a try. I have to say I’m impressed ! No wait, spa chairs, super friendly girls and guy. Lol
They have these different polishes — can’t explain — just beleive me — it’s great ! I got a fancy French pedi !!! Luv it! Can’t wait to show these babies off !!

The only reason I come here is because the prices are really good! The manager Luis & staff use to be so nice & friendly.
I WILL NOT GO BACK because although the prices are good there customer service sucks & they blocked me from there Instagram because I called them out on one of there Vietnamese workers who was a total ASSHOLE with me!
I’d rather pay more for a nice pleasant relaxful manicure than be treated & talked about in there own language!

I’m on a quest for the «one», in terms of nail salons that is. After admiring my sisters Nightmare Before Christmas inspired Halloween nails a few months ago, and my mom’s snowflake nails a couple of days ago, I decided to check this place out. It’s a little rough around the edges, but let’s add some color shall we?
This shop is located in the little strip mall on the corner of Rosecrans and Paramount, behind the Jack in the Box. The parking lot gets a bit crowded as there are about 10 or 12 little stores packed into that one corner. So it’s cramped to say the least. But, I got lucky and found a parking spot across from the entrance of the shop. Then again, it was also 3:20pm on a Monday afternoon. I would say it might be harder to find parking at that time when school is in session (there are 2 just down the street, an elementary school and the freshman campus for Paramount High), so maybe go earlier or later depending on your time frame. The shop itself seems very small from the front, but goes back a fair bit. On one side there are 6 or 7 rows of stations, with 2 to a row. There are 4 or 5 spa pedicure massage chairs on the opposite side, with the walkway in the middle of the stations and chairs. So it’s a little cramped, and your chair is behind an employees chair, so be careful when you scoot back so you don’t bump them and mess up what they are doing.
They don’t take appointments, which can potentially be a downfall as they are busy. When I came in, I was seated right away after explaining what I was looking to get done to the guy at the front desk. When I left, on the otherhand, there were 4 or 5 people waiting. Maybe it depends on your time of arrival too, because when I left it was about 4:45pm. Anywho, once I explained my design, he called out the name of a nail tech, and told me to go sit down. My techs name was Caryn, and lemme tell ya, she was AWESOME!
Unlike most nail shops where the ladies have hard to understand accents, In Style is different. Almost everyone in there seemed to speak English very well, so I was able to have a conversation with Caryn instead of sitting in silence while she chatted with her coworkers. She was super nice, and told me that she didn’t understand Vietnamese anyways, because she was Cambodian and we talked a little about the country, the temples, etc. So, that was a nice change! We even conversed about what I was in school for, her school history and how her family thought different jobs were money makers. Definitely a fun conversation (^_​^)
As its almost Christmas, I requested for a holiday themed nail look. And it had to have glitter. Naturally! Christmas=sparkles and glitter galore! Oh, and a candy cane stripe too, please? Caryn said «No problem, I got this girl!» And asked how I short I wanted my nails, and what shape. I prefer short and slightly squared. Nobody, in the 11 years that I’ve been getting my nails done, has gotten what I want right the first time. Until now that is. Literally one cut per nail, and she barely had to file them at all. And they are basically just right. Even better? She didn’t cut my cuticles with that little metal file tip on those dremel tools they use. Hallelujah! No cuts or scrapes at all actually.
I’m not really sure why there are so many negative reviews about this place. Everyone in there seemed to be really happy with their services. Heck, I even had her touch up my eyebrows before I left. That was the most painless waxing I’ve ever had. Literally the wax was a perfect temperature, so it wasn’t too hot when she put it on, and because of that my skin was NOT as sensitive when she pulled the strip off. Which apparently equals FAR less pain! (insert one happy dance).
My overall is a 4 because a) tiny parking lot, b) no appointments and c) they only take cash or debit cards, and if you pay by card it’s an additional $ 1 charge to use it. And I’m not a fan of paying a fee to pay someone for their services. Oh, and tips are cash only as well.

I’ve always been beyond satisfied coming to this shop! It looks crowded and hectic– but they have a really good system of getting their customers in and out.
It seems like they’ve had a lot of staff changes, but I recommend getting max if you want good, long lasting acrylics with good designs. He’ll show you his Instagram with all his designs. I had him freehand a design and he did great!
Prices are fairly low, however I think they’re actually going up.
