I’ve only lived here for a few months and I can not wait for my one year lease to be over! I feel like I’m in prison. They try to charge you for any little thing! I can literally hear my neighbors doing everything, that’s how thin the walls are! And to top everything off if you do some thing they will try to do a citizen arrest. If I knew this place was like this I would’ve NEVER agree to stay here for a year. Plus the pool and jacuzzi are ALWAYS dirty, Oh and my monthly rent changes EVERY month.
Ps: There’s cockroaches too and the girls in the front office are no help!!!

This is the worst experience that I had while trying to lease an apartment.
Long story short they will lead you on till the very end and regardless of how successful or the verified income they completely screwed me over, gave me a fake approval and green light to get my electric and gas company accounts then literally screwed me over THE DAY BEFORE I MOVED IN.
I’m currently living at a location and have a lease at a home where my family is living in Palmdale. About 75 miles from this location, I was looking to move in with my girlfriend to be closer to my office. However I was not looking to get removed from my lease in Palmdale as I would be staying there on the weekends. So after applying and verifying my combined income of $ 7,700 (only $ 4700 of verified income was required) they rejected my application because they said that I can’t be on two leases.
This is ridiculous because if that’s the case they should have not told me to get a gas and electric account, set up my time warner, get a moving truck, etc… Even if they want to hold me accountable for my families home in Palmdale (even though I’m not paying rent) go ahead and hold me accountable for the entire $ 1500 and our combined income is still $ 6,200+ which I guess isn’t enough to show that I can easily afford both places, even though in reality I’m not paying full rent at my current home and my family is paying most of it, the sad thing is even IF I WAS PAYING THAT FULL AMOUNT… my girlfriend and I could afford this place no problem.
I did not like being lead on… If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me… I’d love to give you every reason NOT to rent here. Oh and if you are successful enough to have two leases, they won’t let you be on two leases even when your incomes is more then 90% of the tenants they have in the complex :)

If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD!!! This place is FRADULENT!!! My lease is almost up and I cannot WAIT!!! They allow tenants to smoke weed, and cigarettes in their apartments, cars get broken into, no courtesy patrol, however they will make it seem as though you’re being recorded live– however it’s a recording, roaches, termites, and bed bugs… YES, BED BUGS! The trash chutes are awful, and smell horrible, drug addicts frequent the parking garage kooking thru the trash, the parking gates on all sides are always broken… dont let the ladies in the front office pitch you into believing that this is your next home. People are moving out of here left and right and I do not balme them one bit because I am next. They trap you in your lease, and trump up charges. They do not shampoo the outside carpet, noise from the hvac system if you are on the 4^th and 3^rd floors, you have drug addicts amd homeless people that chill at the Shell gas station, they make it seem as though it’s a wonderful property it is NOT!!! If I can prevent any… ANYONE from wasting their time and renting here, please let this review scare you away quickly!!! They have these cameras which a voice recording tells you you’re being monitored live which is a lie, and it was said by the leasing assistant Laura that the owners refuse to put any more money into fixing up the grounds which was part of their sales pitch «They’re going to put it new carpet in the hallways on all levels in March» NOT! The elevators have been broken for over a week, with no resolution in sight. Ghetto fabulous at it’s finest. I came from Carson, and I will be returning back to Carson in August. This place is a total bust! And I know you’re reading this review just like I was before moving here thinking… they must have got evicted… nope, I’m still here and can’t wait until my lease is up in August to get the hell out of here! Please let me spare you the heartache and take my word for it. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! Excuse any typos. Did not bother to proof-​read.

I am updating my previous review due to the «security» feature that was recently installed on the property. Can you day CONCENTRATION CAMP IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY??? The system has cameras and loud speakers and if it detects anyone in a common area for too long, a recorded voice screams out to immediately disperse. WTF? This happens all night long. Forget sleeping with your windows open. Even with my windows closed, I can hear it. And I’m not even close to one of the speakers! I really feel bad for whoever lives near the speakers… they must really be in hell.
Otherwise, the staff is actually SUPER helpful. I like them all very much.

THIS COMPLEX WILL NICKEL & DIME YOU AS MUCH AS THEY CAN. THEY CHARGE FOR ANY AND EVERYTHING; EVEN ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN THE CONTRACT. There’s a fee for Everything!
Resident for two years; I would of cut my stay down to one year but I was very pregnant when my lease was up.
Overall: Overpriced for the type of customer service they provide and quality of apartments. Not well kept. Possums. Cats. From the trash on the premises to the frequently broken laundry machines. Hallways are never cleaned. During the summer the pool is full of local kids/​families. «New» gas grills always broke. Trash chutes smells/​disgusting.
Unit: Termites. Baby roaches. Hot water turned off for «maintenance» at least two times a month. Fireplace doesn’t work. Garbage disposal smells like a sewer (maintenance has no solution).

La la la la love the customer service… The girls are amazing and they will help you from start to end. Love it!

I just visited this property about 3 months ago and moved in 2 weeks ago. They were having a very good move in deal; I remember how this place used to look like 3 years ago. Huge difference. The staff is friendly and the property is more up to date. I was reading the reviews on line and I was worried about the bug problem they had. But I see that those reviews are from people who do not even know how to spell a simple word. Obviously not educated or they must have been causing the problem. Since I have lived here, I have had a great experience and I haven’t had any major problems. A few people leave their trash in the trash chute rooms but then I see a cleaner come by later on picking up after them. I love the fact that the gym is 24 hours too. It works perfect for my schedule. Also, so glad they have terminated the section 8 program.

The only thing that comes close to positive is the decent maintenance work. As for the rest, where do I begin or do I have enough space for all the bad things here.
First, the grounds. People always lack the decency to pick up after their dogs. There is always thrash everywhere from kids, teenagers and adults that must think it’s acceptable to do so. There is always loitering of strangers in the McClure side of the property that are smoking weed and being really loud. Surprisingly security is never around when that happens!!!
When it comes to keeping the grass green, they don’t hesitate to turn on the sprinklers all around the property. This will cost you dearly for your «water, sewer and thrash» bill. For my one bedroom, I started at about $ 45, then 60 – 65, now at over $ 90 per month!!! Nice job management!!!
The building: if you enjoy the pleasant smells of smoke, weed and thrash then this is your place! It seems that just about every one is on medical marijuana, you’ll see the empty containers thrown on the ground! People don’t bother to properly place their thrash down the chute, hence the smells of thrash. Maintenance might clean it up but it doesn’t stay clean for long.
Don’t want to drag on any more, but definitely not worth it, even if they stop accepting all those ignorant and inconsiderate Section 8 renters.

Zero stars would be accurate. Just letting everyone know, I came to find out the hard way that the apartment building is infested with roaches. Let me be specific so everyone has an idea. Moved in and we barely have any furniture, some boxes in our rooms, we’ve seen a couple roaches but the management said they sprayed so we figured it’s not a big deal. It’s night time and we had the lights off in the living room, we walk in to turn the lights on and see a roach scurry under a pair of our shoes. Ew of course, we pick up the shoe and 10 roaches run from underneath. Next to the shoe was a board for under my bed, pick it up and guess what we found more of? Good guess, ROACHES. And mind you this is THE FIRST DAY OF MOVING IN. Clearly after seeing that we searched the rest of the apartment. They are in the KITCHEN, CARPETS, ROOMS, BATHROOMS, WALLS, MIRRORS. This is an infestation. So having to deal with this being my first apartment ever was ridiculous and I can’t leave because of the «lease». I don’t want to live with roaches I want to leave but can’t and they sprayed again but it only works after a month they said? I have PETS. I do not want to continually every week take all my pets out so they can spray my apartment which isn’t going to do much because it’s probably in the entire building. So sad. I would hate to see anyone go through what my roommate and I have been through with this crappy apartment. Little tip they all lie to you and tell you what you want to hear in management, they will get nothing done unless you ask for the main manager. Still they will drag their asses trying to «help». Only help I need is getting the hell out of here. Fyi if they show u the model apt it will look nothing like what you are going to be renting. The neighbors are loud and obnoxious, the people living in the building smoke weed and you can smell it in the halls & out of the windows. Do NOT rent here.
This is an update so everyone who was ever thinking of renting here please save yourself the heartache. I have had health issues and had to go to the doctor over these roaches and still can’t break our lease? We have pets and two jobs, we don’t have time to take our pets and let exterminators stroll in whenever they feel like it. You know what Enclave management thinks of that? They don’t, they don’t care at all about your circumstances they are out for your money and even if your apartment has roaches in every corner you can’t leave without paying. Oh and its not just this apartment they offered one of their other apartments and it was infested with termites. Yes please i want to leave my roach infested apartment to a termite infested one. NO I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE. We waited the 30 days to treat the apartment and they told us if we do that and there is still roaches then we can leave and it has been 30 days and they won’t let us break the lease and trust me there has been roaches. I don’t wish this to happen to anyone. In case anyone might feel this is false I have taken pictures and I will share them. The enclave management AND corporate has caused this whole month to be worst experience a person could ever have.

WARNING do not be deceived by the management staff here at the enclave apartment complex, or by the appearance of the complex. We leased an apartment in the beginning of this year here, and honestly i have not one positive thing to say about our whole experience living here, it has been awful… The staff are trained liars, the so called maintenance staff here are a joke. They walk around and bull-​shit all day. The owners are crooks and liars also. PLEASE try and avoid is complex by any means necessary. The place is filthy very poorly kept, the neighbors are ghetto and unfriendly here you have been warned.

This update is a suggestion for dealing with unethical company and corporation. There is a law that you can use to protect yourself to ensure that there will be no «he said /​she said «problems. The law is;
TITLE 18 PART I CHAPTER 119 U.S. Code 2511. INTERCEPTION AND DISCLOSURE OF WIRE, ORAL, OR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS PROHIBITED
SECTION (2) SUBSECTION (d)
It shall not be unlawful under this chapter for a person not acting under color of law to intercept a wire, oral, or electronic communication where such person is a party to the communication or where one of the parties to the communication has given prior consent to such interception unless such communication is intercepted for the purpose of committing any criminal or tortuous act in violation of the Constitution or laws of the United States or of any State.
This means according to my lawyer. Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-​person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties involved in the conversation. See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a «one-​party consent» law. Under a one-​party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation. An you are not required to let the other person know that they are being recorded. As long as your own voice can be heard on the same recording engaging in the conversation.
With the present management at the Enclave apartment or other less then ethical organization. This is good to know to protect yourself.

Please avoid these apartments! It is awful! They only care about the money and help with nothing! Stay far away from this place! You pay way to much rent to live with roaches! The management is RUDE! Save your time and stress you will regret living here!

I wish I could provide negative stars… They have added a Bark Park, new play area and a new 3ft pool… Yippee! Smh. When my car was damaged (Jaguar) due to a leak in the garage foundation they accepted no responsibility. They recommended we move spots, we moved to the spots they assigned and then they decided to charge us for 3 additional spots and we only had 2 cars. Not to mention the ignorant lady in the office told us we had 3 occupants in our home, excuse me? How do you count one name twice… They just informed us they will no longer change our lightbulbs per a section in the lease… There are tenants who throw dirty diapers on balcony which causes health concerns, the wasp nest on our floor is only getting bigger… STAY AWAY!!! Once lease is up, we are OUT!!!

I’ve lived at the Enclave for almost two years and it’s been an awful experience. From the moment I moved in the neighbors upstairs have been so noisy it’s ridiculous. I live in a one bedroom and there’s a 2 bedroom above me. What a poor setup! The walls are very thin, so when the kids run and jump above me (which they do all day and late into the night), you hear everything. I’ve complained to the tenants upstairs and their response is that they cannot control their kids movement. I’ve complained to the management office and they say they can’t tell the parents how to raise their kids. I’ve complained to security and they tell me to call the cops. The only good thing about this place is that it’s close to the freeway. In the two years I’ve been here, there have been several break ins, someone even got shot right in front the main gate next to my apartment. Stay away!!!

Been here for a little over 2 months and must say I’ve enjoyed my time here thus far.

I lived at The Enclave for 4 years. I loved my apartment. I rented a second floor 1 bedroom apartment. The unit itself was very spacious, ample closet space, balcony, gas fireplace & keyless entry. Tenant pays all utilities. I never roamed the grounds. There’s no rent control & they house Section 8 clients. My time there was working out in the gym, taking trash out, & going to my vehicle. I never mingled with any of my neighbors. The complex put on different events like Halloween parties, breakfast in the garage & financial workshops. I lived in Building 4 unit 4 – 209,. There are many families that live in the complex so you see children/​teenagers all the time, hence it’s down the street from Paramount High School. It’s predominantly a Hispanic/​black race in the complex but you do see springles of Asian, Persian & other races there. The maintenance crew is funny & efficient. I always had issues with hot water in the bathroom. When I moved out I received all but $ 100 back from my deposit, there was a hole in the wall from my tv being mounted on the wall. Overall, decent stay there.

10/​14/​2014 –Moved in a month ago and the experience has been good so far. The new management is eliminating the riff raft from the property and is very responsive to the residents. The apartment and the grounds are beautiful and maintenance is quick to respond when needed. The leasing staff is very friendly and professional.
10÷01÷2015− I moved out of this complex when my lease expired. My apartment was beautiful and I had no bug issues inside. That, and being close to the freeway were the only good things about this complex. To start off, the parking is tandem for two cars. Great to have two spaces but a pain to have to constantly be moving cars for each other. There is no guest parking anywhere! Thanks to the mortuary on the corner which is quite busy, there is never street parking. Don’t park in the shopping center lot across the street because they will tow you as well. This is not a great neighborhood and you will have to have your friends park far away and walk through the neighborhood at night. The streets are tight and people drive like they are the only person on the road. so going in and out of the complex is always dangerous. In the parking lot we encountered Junkies, homeless people, dumpster divers and I walked up on a guy breaking into the car next to mine at 7:00 am on my way to work. People would leave trash everywhere– Hallways, elevators and all over the property. One night there was human feces in the elevator! The Property management company changed hands while we were living there. Luckily they kept Laura as assistant manager! She was the only person in the office who seemed happy to help. Everyone else acted like you were interrupting their day if you called or came by.
They made several «updates» to the property and changed the courtesy patrol. Courtesy patrol was a joke and sat on a wall smoking cigarettes and drinking Powerade or socializing by the pool. Several people living on the property just trash the areas like the playground, bbq and dog park. I would not let my dog go into the dog park because there was pet waste everywhere which carries disease! People would party at the Pool especially on Sundays when the office is closed. Loud music, screaming, trash everywhere. So the amenities are not worth using. I felt the complex is overpriced. Waking up to marijuana smoke and Popeye’s chicken is not my favorite on Saturday morning. Bottom line– your still in Paramount, don’t pay this much to live there! I found a better complex with great amenities in Downey for less money.

If I could give this place a 0 in stars I would.
Management does not care who stays at the complex so long as they, and I quote «send in their checks each month.» My apartment has recently been broken into with several items taken. What did management do? Called the sheriff and it was «out of their hands.» The front office knows who may have done it with this delinquent having several issues with residents. He stole a dog and attempted a phone theft. Both were reported to Enclave… nothing was done. Again, they chose not to kick him out because, you guessed it, he «sends a rent check every month.»
What’s worse is after reading a similar post from a victim 2 years prior, it’s obvious things have not changed. Now my brother’s car was stolen, most likely by the same shady delinquent who they refused to kick out. Management only cares about money they receive and less about the safety and well being of their residents. Avoid this place at ALL COSTS.
Summary: Several break ins occur. This is a breeding ground for crime and mismanagement. AVOID THIS COMPLEX! Tell everyone you know to stay away. There is no meticulous vetting system to separare the good from the bad in this complex.

If I could give this place less than 0 stars I would. There have been multiple home invasions within a 3 month span. There are people smoking weed everywhere outside and in front of the gates and there was a shooting during the day.
This place is newly renovated and looks very nice. There is a pool, a workout room that is hardly open during the hours it should be, even though their website says it should be open 24 hours a day. The people who hangout in this neighborhood ruin the work they tried to do.
